Fenris's eyes went wide as he dove at Neko, diving quickly trying to get in the way of the two, not caring if she were to get hurt, but not wanting Neko to get hurt. She got there right in time, blocking the way between the weird looking figure coming towards her now, and Neko.

Sarya turned into her human form and tried to create a barrier around herself while trying to get out of the line of fire without success. The beam hit her right side, though the barrier made it so that it wasn't too life threatening of a blow, and she cried out in pain. Soon after the cry the dull sound of a body hitting a damp forest floor could be heard by those near enough.

Nekojiri ::The man fires another beam at Sarya, and gets hit with The Talon. It slammed against one of the crosses, shattering it as it sent the man flying. The cross exploded violently, burning away the cloak and some of the man's clothing on his side, his flesh charred as he lay on the ground, motionless for a moment::::The scythe misses, but the arrow hits, and passes through. The black cloak burned away, revealing a similar cloak, but white. The man glowed bright, lighting up the dark forest like it was daylight outside. The man had no body, only two arms, a tattered cloak, and a shrouded face. He screeched as he dove at Neko with incredible speed, his scythe moving even faster:: -The Talon rebounds like a boomerang and Reeve catches it. The inscription seems to glow happily. P W N T. As soon as his weapon is in his hands, he continues toward Sarya, moving quickly. The thump of her fallen body echoes in his heart- Sa..rya....?

::The man's scythe dug into Fen's arm, as the other, liying in the mud still, flung up, stabbing at Neko's back::
-=Neko started to jump, but stopped as Fen stepped between he and the man. Neko was caught off guard for a moment, but quickly realized he was being attacked, only having enough time to move just enough so the scythe dug into the back of his calf, and into the ground, pinning him down as he screamed in pain=-

Nyl frowned at the rods pinning her where she was.
"This is senseless. I'm a ghost. I can walk through trees, for heaven's sake!"
With a yell and a good deal of concentration, Nyl tore herself free of the rods. Taking a moment to collect herself--literally, as her midsection had to sort of reform--she started running toward Neko and Fenris.

Fenris heard Neko cry in pain as she let the scythe hit her, fealing aweful that she had failed to save Neko from being hit. She knelt beside Neko,checking the wound, not wanting him to be hurt. She looked sadly at him, but anger filled her as her best friend was hurt. She stood up, her hands balling intofists as the black aura around them suddenly burst up her arms. Her eyes were black now as anger overtook her. She looked at ressurection, getting into a stance, showing how serious she was this time.

::The man grunts as he rolls over, looking down at his scarred body. He fumbles around, grabbing a caster shell and loading it into the first cross he could grab. He shoved the end into the ground and fired, then sunk into the portal::

Nyl reached Neko and Fen, though she wasn't sure she could even really be seen anymore.

::The man holds out a hand, and in a blinding flash of light, shoots out a single beam of light and slings his scythe at Fen, the beam aimed for Neko's back::
-=Neko sqiorms on the ground, flinging a hand up, unleasing a torrent of ice-needles at the cloaked figure, recoiling at the flash, the beam knicking his shoulder as he tugged the scythe out of the ground with his leg=-

He takes her left hand in his own- Please...please don't be dead... -Inquisitors approached, closing in on Sarya and Reeve. He wields the massive blade with one hand, slashing and hewing, not daring to let go of her hand for a moment-

Fenris didn't flinch by the light, but closed her eyes, hearing the scythe as he grabbed it in the air and dropped it to the ground. She ran at the figure, her eyes slightly open now as two jurs sprouted from the black chakra around her arms. She went to slash the man, then disapear to behind him imediately to stab him, hoping this combo would work.

((I know, just waiting...o.o; ))
::The needles shred through the man's cloak, and he stands, unaffected. Fen's attack however affected him. He vacked away at the first slash, only being knicked as the other impaled straight through him, his light dimming signifigantly. Two ghostly hands emerged from the cloak as he screeched, reaching around and trying to grab Fen's injured arm::
-=Neko looked over at Nyl and pushed himself up using his staf, forcing the scythe out of his hand using the grounfgd and his nearly-useless free hand. He focused for a momen and his chakra bursted. He stood on his lef like nothing had happened and nodded at Nyl, taking his scythe with two hands, seeing that Fen;'s attacks seemed to be working=-
