Well. I can get us about 15% off. Not much of a change. She's also mentioned some properties that she DOES have a few buildings knocked down on. And if the jobs were done satisfactorily, we'd come up with the money for a good downpayment . . . .

Well...
First of all, I worry about paying for it all. The mortgage, bills, etc etc. As it stands, we'll be sleeping on the floor and using milk crates for living room furniture but I do LOVE the house.
Also, all that time I spent searching for you, I envisioned us in the lab together, making progress in research together rather than rampaging and tearing stuff down.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to be with you no matter what. I just don't want to 'only get by" on brawn.
and also there's that whole matter of changing back at the end of the day

We're not going to be just getting by on our brawn, I promise. I also agree that using our inmtellect is what's going to serve us best in the long run.
Using our strength just gives us a short cut to get started on. And you DID get that job offer from Jan. I mean, that's more our speed, wouldn't you say?
Still. If we can get a quick infusion of cash to help us, we might as well, no? I mean. It'd be a shame for someone else to get the house before us.

I suppose that's true. It's just a temporary solution that will help us in the long run.

I have to admit I've been imagining what it would be like to live in that house together heart
