Look!
*comes closer to Bruce holding out her arm. The wound is starting to heal already*
Isn't that cool!? I mean yeah, it hurt but it won't for long and I wanted to show you..

Sorry, sweetie. See, look? All better!
*the wound is healed*
I'd like to change back now though. You can see I'm not angry and still.. I'm green. Maybe it's because I'm frustrated but.. I hate being "stuck"
So.. enough about my issues... What did you think of that house today?

Welll . . . . . it was nice and secluded, and that's good. It was large and sturdy. I think we'd be very happy there. I just worry about the price neutral

Yes, that was my concern too.
*sighs and slumps her shoulders*
I need a job but that's a bit difficult when you are supposed to be dead and you can't control your anger.

You know. I think we could take a page from Joe's book. Certainly there are worse things we could do than profit from our abilities, don't you think?
*Bruce sits down next to Betty.* What could we do? Oh, I know! We could hire ourselves out as a demolitions team. Knocking down condemned buildings for fun and profit.

It's too bad we can't use our brains to make money, rather than our brawn. I really did like that house too. Maybe we could haggle? The housing market is pretty crappy right now and we do have cash. It had a nice big basement perfect for a lab, a bright sunny kitchen.. among other things...
*puts her head down on the table* and why is it so hard for me to change back.. agh

Well, we could do both, certainly! It's just that . . . . people always need a building knocked down. And it'd be nice to do it INTENTIONALLY for a change. And be paid for it.
No, I don't mean it's something we'd keep at, just . . . . well. It's quick and easy for us. Sort of like if Flash became some sort of next-hour courier. He could apply himself to higher ends, but it's a shortcut to get started with.

*nods solemnly*
If that's what we have to do for the house... Well, I'd kinda like to be able to turn back to myself at will before making myself hulk out for pay but it doesn't look like time is a luxury we have
*leans against Bruce*

*Bruce ponders.* Something has to trigger your changes. I know when I was adjusting to my transformations, they'd be triggered by different things. At first, it was . . . nights as the Hulkj, days as myself. Then when I hit an emotional breaking point, I'd treansform. And the Hulk had to hit a similar point. Believe me, that was frequently inconvenient. Can you imagine turning into a normal human when you need superhuman strength? *Bruce shuddered.* A few times I very nearly . . . . well. Never mind.
Maybe your body ( . . .bodies?) still needs to find the right cues for itself.

Well, it seems like I just can't be "calm", I have to be really really relaxed. Remember when you took care of me, played me music and sat with me and I changed? The next time it was after Wally gave me a massage.
Sometimes I think I'm just trying too hard and getting so frustrated that it inhibits the change.

Do you even... know of a person that would hire us?

What kinds of jobs do you have? Bruce and I found a house we love.. it's just out of our price range a little bit.

Betty Ross *yawns and leans her head on Bruce's shoulder* Do you even... know of a person that would hire us? I'm . . . not really sure. JHoJoe always seems to be able to find someone who'll hire him for some under the table work of some kind or other. Of course, that's not usually the same kind of work we're wantiong. He's usually a bouncer or body gaurd. Sometimes, he's been a . . . "collections agent," I think sweatdrop
