Faate blinked at Malik as she was accosted and then crossed her arms. "I don't have a clue what she gave Aunt Piper since I wasn't there and I didn't give it to her myself. My guess is that she gave her a basic nausea suppressor to help her keep her stomach contents down. Either that or an energy booster since she wasn't getting her daily drain from you as you were in the tournament and unable to do so."

Galesen flexed his fingers before he too grabbed a piece of bread and began to eat it. "Well aside from the fact of my little episode I say things are going smoothly, as they could ever do around here." A small chuckle to that before he took a sip of his water, though he shivered a little bit since his body was not use to its temperature dropping so quickly.

"The more he worries, the more it's going to stress her." Said as Malik was heading out to investigate, leaving them all at the table. A look over to Galesen and shaking her head. "At least you're not spewing magic anymore." Picking some food off of son's plate and also soothing him with a chuckle at the sour face he was making over whatever it was he had just tried.

Malik gave her a look over and a nod.
"that makes sense."
before heading outside, to find his wife and comfort her and find out why in the world she'd think he was losing in terest in her. that was...and should be, simply out of the question, beyond all sane thought.

Mykorian blinked and turned a look back to Faate. "Well, that was odd. You know, there's a lot of rumors going around on what's wrong with her." This was still the underdark after all and people were always looking for a reason ad ability to powerplay.
Dhairiss was sitting with is mother by the lake, watching her draw things on the water’s surface with a stick. “Shouldn’t you be in-”
“Don’t covertly scold me like your father and brother do. I get more than enough of that these days and I’d like to be in contact with at least one person that doesn’t harp on all the time. I’d rather be alone but I know you’re not going anywhere.”
Rather than be upset he merely grinned in his flighty way. “Well, they’re always hogging you when it comes to the protect mom roll. I want a turn too.”

"Of course, but he can't help but worry." It sucked to see the two of them in such a way but Piper wanted the child, they would have to tread carefully. "Indeed, though I feel so cold it is like I've been forced to live on a mountain top for a year or so with nothing on. But soon enough I won't even think twice about it once I get use to it." A look to Nillrik and he chuckled a little bit. "Ah, you finally ate something that's not settling well huh? Don't worry, same thing happened to me when I went to Andal for the first time. You'll get use to all the food soon enough."

damn the light, and damn the plants. why did he decided to make this thing again? before finding his wife and youngest son more by sound then sight.
"you know, the images stay longer if you use dirt rather then water, 'chev."
oh look...shadow. nice, comfortable, non blinding shadow. lets stay here for a bit.

"And he says it like it's not even remotely out of the ordinary." Reaching over with a napkin in hand and offering her son a place to spit his food out, which he did quickly before drinking some juice to try and mask the taste. "I don't think we'll be down here long enough to do that."
"Ever think that maybe I don't want them to stay? What are you doing in here anyway? You hate it in here."
Dhairiss turned a look over his shoulder to his father, giving a helpless shrug about how his mother was acting. She was in a mood, that was for sure.

"Because something just got brought to my attention and it concerns me. And I want to know if you really like that or not. and if that means coming in here, that means coming in here. It's not like I built this with the idea that I would never set foot in it."
a slight grin.
"This is kinda of like how we met, isn't it. you bathed in light, and me in shadow. now all we need is for an arrow to barely miss me being chased by a zephyr."

"Oh look at that, a draithix, I'm going to go pet it." Hey he knew when his parents needed to be left alone and this was one of those time before it got all personal and awkward.
"But you still don't like to. Hurts your eyes." Briefly turning a look over to where he was standing as he was making his comparison...yes indeed she could recall that very clearly. "Serino and I don't play that game anymore. Couldn't if we still did anyway, I'm not allowed to draw a bow." Still tracing in the water with the stick for no particular reason other than to give her hands something to do.

"And why don't you play it anymore?"
moving over and taking a seat by his wife, and taking her ring hand in his. nothing more or less then that. no pressuring, no comments on things. just talking to her.

"We just don't. Probably a list of reasons for it that is too long to go through in one day. It was never as fun down here anyway, too much open spaces and not enough things to try to avoid." One of many things that changed with time she supposed. "Besides, he's happier to be lazier than ever these days anyway."

Galesen gave a small shrug and leaned back in his seat, closing his eyes before he grabbed his cup and took another sip from it. Though he looked to Isle and he raised an eyebrow. "Really? How long do you plan on staying here then?" That was one of things they didn't talk about, but he didn't mind, she could leave before he did, he needed to take care of his problem first.

"then take a trip to Aurakah's plane, just the two of you and have some fun. a little vacation if you would. And your not the one to let him get lazy."
Glancing at the water.
"Why would you think, that my interest in you is waning? what possibly gave you that impression, Piper?"

"Till Piper is feeling mentally better again." Or at least until Nillrik started to whine about being here. She may not be able to help Piper in other ways but she could at least be someone who wasn't trying to keep her health in check all the time.
"Can't planes travel, can't ride horse, can't draw bow. Remember?" Granted he probably meant after all of this but she wasn't keen on visiting either way. Though she did frown at the subject that was brought up, "Isleandra can't keep her damn mouth shut." The woman was probably trying to help and had good intentions, but Piper was quite sick of 'good intentions' involving her at the moment.
"Things are just so structured these days...they have been for years upon years now. I used to pride myself on being able to surprise you and make your life hell from time to time, aggrivate you just because I could. You were always paying attention because you never knew what I was going to do next, good or bad. I mean I expected to change, that happens when you grow up. I just never thought I'd reach a point where I didn't even know myself anymore."
Brushing her bangs away from her face some. "It's not the marriage, it's not the kids, it's nothing anything in particular that I feel is responsible for anything. Life happens and I love all of it. But, look at me now. I can't even sneeze without getting dizzy." And no, that wasn't exaggerating. "All you do is take care of me now. You, and the boys, and Zahara. It's been that way for a few years now. Just structure and care and business and gains and plotting. Hell, the most we've been somewhat like how things were, was when I was stalking you because nature made me. Even then I had to force you away from your desk. I would hardly call any of that reaping interest."
