Airplane stumbles in. She has dark circles under her eyes and is very pale. "I think I'll go..." she trails off and slumps over on the couch. "Ahhhhh..." she sighed putting her arms over her face. Mono blues...

To be more precise, Talon, you're a raptor, which is a dinoaur, which is a large reptile, which is a reptile. So, yeah, you are a reptile.

So, yeah, you are a reptile. But then again, last time I heard anything, there is quite a debate about whether dinosaurs were really cold-blooded and thus actually that reptilian...

During fall, there are numerous mideival fairs around the country. I wanted to go to the one in CT this year, but couldn't.
Wow, I've never heard any sort of debate. They say lizards grwo constantly, so, if one lived long enough, it would become a dinosaur (meaning: "big lizard").
Oh, I sort of get it, Talon.

Not dead...still about. Just busy, so busy.
*Throws her television and many other highly valuable, but wonderfully shattery, things out of her window.*
AUGH.
But I am still here, so please don't kick me out!

They say lizards grwo constantly, so, if one lived long enough, it would become a dinosaur (meaning: "big lizard"). Oh, I sort of get it, Talon. If lizards did keep growing forever, they could not get as big as dinosaurs because their body structure is only good for a certain range of size. If they got too big, their body would not be able to hold them up, and it would break, unless they evolved over time to accomodate a larger size. I believe the claudistic definition of reptile is something like... the last common ancestor between humans and snakes. Just insert your favorite mammal and favorite reptile like creature, and trace back until the were the same. The point where they branch off in different directions shows which type of speicies everything else belongs too. Of course, I only took one Geology course that covered stuff like this, so my memory is most likely fuzzy. But claudistics is the new, hip way of classifying animals properly, making old classifications like 'reptile' somewhat obsolete. Who'da thunk archeology is an up and coming field? XD

That's okay, Cayennah.
*does not believe in evolution* Their entire body structure grows, inluding bones and organs. At least that ias what I have heard. Wouldn't a biology class be more appropriate comparitively? yeah.
Nope, sorry, Kyou, not me anyway. If any decent number of others are interested in one, I would definitely join. Not many (if any) of the Mods are RPing right now.

Yoder *does not believe in evolution* Their entire body structure grows, inluding bones and organs. At least that ias what I have heard. Wouldn't a biology class be more appropriate comparitively? yeah. I'm just saying on a physical structure level. If you take, for instance, the structure of a gecko, and made it really big, it's bones would not be able to support it's weight anymore. The proportions of muscle mass to bone support would get all wrong. Also, cause it's legs are off to the side, it couldn't support a lot of weight from the body. So if it got really big... it wouldn't be able to function. And that's why I don't think reptiles could get as big as the bigger dinosaurs even if they lived for a long time. And that's why most large creatures (human sized and up) don't walk like lizards with their legs out to the side. The legs are right underneath the body to help support all the weight of muslces and oragons and things. *doesn't want to get into a debate about evolution* sweatdrop
