Samantha sat silently in the dinning room wondering when KAshan would be back, she had a habit of being impatient and she found hersefl very nerous... or anchious. She stated up at the cieling trying to let the time pass faster.

Shadow looked to Selena, "It's alright Selena. I know you ment no harm by it... even after so many years I still cannot get over this. It still hurts... I can't help but feel guilty for it to. She died trying to save my life instead of saving her own." Shadow said. He felt the need to finish the tale since it had been started, no matter how much pain it brought him. He then laughed a little, it was a pained laugh but still he was trying, "I can tell in what ways I have changed you. I can see it, hear it, smell it. I noticed every little change in you over the course of the past few days." Shadow said as he started to lighten up and stop feeling as bad. "Well, I guess that old bugger finnaly done something usual for once then. Lucky for you though, got you out of that arranegd marriage. I have alot to thank him for... if he is still alive." Shadow said, now feeling a great deal better. Most of his memories of home were bad ones, mainly due to the wars he fought in and even started. These wars spread over time itself and spilled into this realm on many ocasions and most of these old grudges had only been settled within the last five years.

Shadow nodded, "You really haved changed that much. From the first day I met you until now... you are very different from that one night where you treid to kiss me." he said with a weak smile until he heard Selena speak once more. At that point he couldn't help but feel happy, what man wouldn't. "I will stop, for you. You are also the only one who has ever stopped me mid tale. I am actualy thankful for that.... you have all my memories anywhere, you can find the scenes there if you ever wanted to for some odd reason." Shadow said, the pain now gone from his voice. "You have done so much for me Selena, just by being here. I don't know what I would be doing now if you hadn't wanted to talk to me after that incodent with Juliet." Shadow had to let her know that, even if she already knew. It was just one of those things. "You never know. He might apear, one day if he still walks this world. We can both thank him for everything... but if he looks at you the same way he did that night I am going to hurt him." Shadow said half joking about the fact until he felt water hitting him. "Oh, we have playful Selena back eh." Shadow said as he retaliated with the same tricks.

Shadow had to sit at the bottom of the lake for a moment before he considered surfacign again. It wa snot because he was annoyed, it was because he didn't manage to drag Selena in with him. When he finaly made it out of the water he gave Selena a comical glare as he heard her laughing. "He did look at you like food yes but there must have been a reaosn for him to sire you... Unless he is one of those odd vampires that it just 'happens' with. No blood kiss or anything like that. I never really asked him." Shadow said as he shook himself a little to remove some of the water from himself. "I do need to thank you. It is just one of those things that I felt the need to do. I have alos noticed the change in myself... I can't describe how it feels really but it is familair. Now give me your hand and I'll help you up. I won't push you into the lake either, I promise." Shadow said as he offered her his hand. "Shall we head back to the manor now. I apear to be in need of a change of clothing and I think you could do with something to drink." He said. They had both been out there for a very long time, far longer than Shadow had expected them to be but alot happened out there that he was not expecting.

Shadow kept a hold of Selena's hand as they walked back to the manor figuring that he was a little to wet to take her arm propery. "Saved by your magic blood line? You truely are one very lucky lady.... you need to tell me about your life back then at some point. I didn't get to see much of your old home, except for at night." Shadow said. He was getting some ideas in his head now about what to do to Selena for a little revenge and maybe a little fun but he couldn't bring himself to do anything to her in the end, he wasn't that crul anymore but he would be playful whent he time came back around. "I have noticed that I have been talking alot more these days. It is... wodneful and as for the way I deal with others... that has changed a great deal to." Shadow said. He knew he was busted when Selena spoke out, he had only one change and he took it. Shadow lifted Selena up into his arms and grined at her from there. "Don't you dare what? What am I going to do to my lovely Selena?" Shadow said followed by a wink as he stood there with her in his arms and held her there for a moment until she responded.

Sakura gasped for air as she ran through the forest, her sword in hand. Her free hand held the wound on her upper arm, which held her sword, as she ran from whatever was chasing her. She really wasn't sure what it was since she had never really faced anything but her own kind. 'Papa......' she called in her head, trying her hardest to call out for help but couldn't say anything. After a few minutes she suddenly tripped out a tree root, the creature coming up fast behind her.

Juliet hummed softly as she sat on Nolaloth's and her bed, reading her book quietly.

Sakura flinched slightly as she felt pain rush through her leg from getting it caught under the tree's root. Suddenly she heard a few branches crack behind her, which made her quickly roll onto her back. She quickly spotted the large creature standing over her with it's mouth open, which in turn just made her even more scared.

Juliet smiled as she slowly slipped a bookmark into her book when she heard Nolaloth. "A little......" she said as she took the glass of blood. ".....But not only for blood....." she said as she smiled up at him, taking his free hand with hers.

Sakura suddenly turned her head when she heard something coming from the direction she had been running to. "Papa....." she called with a smile when she saw him. She then quickly looked back just as one of the wolves leaped at her. She gasped as she closed her eyes, her body moving on it's own as she lifted the sword, thrusting it into the wolfs stomach.

Juliet smiled as she slowly sat up, placing a hand on his cheek softly. ".....maybe.......you....." she said softly with a slight giggle before kissing him softly on the lips.
