Within minutes of the local-area evacuation order, the massive airship came over the mountains adjoining Midgar, speeding toward the cluster of walkers. Some twice the size of the Highwind, the expansive ship moved with just as much grace as its predecessor, passing low over the rampaging alien vehicles before whipping its tail about, directing its nose downward at the scene while maintaining a good half mile buffer.
On the bridge Kanzaki was unsure of how to go about the problem. Using the main weapon would cause untold damage and deaths if any non-combatants were anywhere near it. From the reports they were receiving from the Military Policemen, he wasn't entirely sure of the 55mm cannons or the missiles would have any effect.
"I want firing solutions on the Materia Cannon and have it ready on my mark. Maintain it's charge at 95% percent and divert previously allocated power to charging the second bank. Bring about all forward, port, and starboard point defense Vulcans. Fire them at will."
With several seconds of lag time, after the command, 8 of the guns along the ship rotated to the front, the rotating barrels cycling thrice around before they all opened fire, raining down 55mm shells on the walkers.-= Kanzaki Theme=- cσмє ωнαт мαч!

 (Im assuming that was some kind of joke since I pulled something stupid, yes?) Kauro, on his walk back from the valley outside of midgar, had paused at the massive flash of light a minute ago, figuring about where it should have come from. Eventually he decided that, whatever it was, he may as well leave it alone. No point in interfering after all. It might be something totally natural here anyway. So he turned and went on, eventually reaching Midgar again, before he turned as the echo of high caliber weapons fire reahced the city, seeing the massive airship outside the city now. "Impressive." He said to himself, heading further into the city as the citizen's all stopped and stared at the massive ship hovering maybe fifteen miles away.

While her appetite for battle hadn't been filled, the threat and prospect of more with Sephriea intruiged her enough to last her. She was still only his daughter, and not the legend himself. Maybe leaving her a bloody mess would send an appropos message. Smiling to herself, she leaned back and fell down the center of the radio tower, disappearing from sight after passing the roofs of neighboring buildings.

(( Just want to say this, If that was a insult to Ryuu, I don't want to see anything like that again okay? This guild, were all practically family. There is no cruel remarks passed by anyone. If there ever is a problem we talk things out and all but never insult one another. If I'm completely wrong on what I think that means, then good! But I just wanted to mention this to make sure everything is clear..^^ ))

There was dust and smoke everywere as those cannons merely bounced off the shell that is the invisible energy shields. A large,four legged spider like machine cropped up beneath the shield,raised itself to full height and suddenly,without breaking the dome,two large beams of pure white flew from the dome. The noise they emitted was deafinning to the crew of the ship as those rays flew towards their target,while at the same time another cylinder was flying toward it,looking to punch right through it.
At the same time,a loud screech rams through the ears of the whole of the ship,deafinning a few.
"AAALLLOOOO! AAALLLOOOO!! (okay that was my last post for the night,need to go to bed. DONT KILL MEH > sad ))

Torin walked along the roofs looking at the sky and felt a slight breeze on his back and he smiled "...havent even used my blade since coming her" during the xeno infestation he only used magic but his sword play was neglected "....i need a spar....but who...I only know nina.....'...When every one hates you for being you

"Cut all propulsion!"
He roared, still maintaining his collected composure. The ship groaned as it suddenly lost all levitating power, dropping like a rock. Since the back end was much heavier, the bow began to tilt up, still within the paths of the twin beams. They melted a good 12 inches from the nose armor, destroying it's forward antenna. The large cylinder passed just above the bridge, frightening a few of the greener officers. One of the officers taking the hint from the maneuver, the power was cut back on to the thrusters at full, the area beneath the ship put under several Gs from the blast, kicking up heinous amounts of dust.
(( BAH! The Martians retreated! Yay for Shin-Ra! Srsly, T w T Now I'm gonna be stuck. ))

haseo's older sister walked through midgar aimlessly just exploring the aerea just looking around, if she had her foxy abilitys acctavated yet then she could have told what has happened around here and she'd be able to tell to rin was near by

The two beams that were shown began to move down the base of the nose,melting even more steel and metal beneath it's unearthly Heat as it swept along the belly of the ship. Suddenly,four green blurs shot out from the dome and sped toward's the ship,creating what sounded like a loud booster rocket or so. Four ships,all martian,flew toward the damaged vessel and began to fire from their noses greenish,tracking missiles that looked nothing more then black cones.

The skies would be blurred with rounds from the 55mm Vulcans, blowing away the tracking missiles with no effort or maneuvering from the airship. While the beams continued to melt the armor, no damage had yet been done to the hull.
"Ready the missile pods. 3 each. Mark."
On his command a booming thud could be heard in the bowel of the airborne vessel, which fired it's main cannon directly into the cluster of walkers, at what was understood to be the 'lead' vehicle. From the end of the barrel came a large orb of white light, and from that a nano-second later came a materia shell nearing 600mm (about 24 inches) in diameter and close to half a ton in weight, moving over 3,000 feet per second. The blast was all but literally deafening, the path of the projectile swathed in a bright light, almost as if it was firing a laser. Even if their shields repelled standard 55mm tank rounds, he highly doubted anything beyond a stadium-sized crater would be left. The ship recoiled from firing quarter mile to its rear, gaining altitude to avoid the sweeping lasers. Firing the engines up, he began to cruise closer for a fly-by, listing fifteen degrees to its right to allow the bridge to survey the damage.
