Usually, I'm expecting one or two announcements when I log in. Today ... NINE! Back up, back up, you don't know me like that~
Then ya have to click through all of em. It's absolutely atrocious.
Furthermore, got a question for you. If you were to make a fighting game with stats. Which stats would you consider utilizing in it and why? Try to elaborate for me.

And for fighting game stats? Well...
Health: To determine how many points of damage it takes to K.O. them. Typically the bigger and beefier you are the more health you have (example: Zangief). Because of that reason, female fighters usually have less health in fighting games than male fighters, but that's just some sexist bullshit if you ask me.
Damage: How much damage a fighter's attacks do. This will usually vary from attack to attack, with scaling on damage the higher your combo is so as to avoid defeating an opponent in a single long-chain combo, however, some attackers have more of these high-damaging attacks than others. I guess grapplers would be another good example of this, since command grabs are usually more damaging than any other normal special attack in a game, but they usually require you to be in very close range so their high damage comes with some trial and risk.
Movement Speed: How fast your character can move and attack. Timing is essential in a fight, and higher speed characters have a much easier time landing attacks on their slower opponents. A good comparison would be someone like Yun from Third Strike compared to a grappler like Alex. Typically the big beefy grapplers in fighting games have high health and damage output, but they're so slow it's difficult for them to land those high-damaging combos. On the other hand, there is also a fighter archetype known as a 'glass cannon' which refers to a fighter who has very high speed and damage output, but very low health. Most fighter characters have some balance between these three stats. Beyond this it's their move-set that determines how useful they are against other characters.
Defense: This stat varies from game to game, and isn't as important, which is why I'd set it apart from the other three. Some characters have the ability to boost their damage reduction, lowering the amount of damage enemy attacks will give them. With health this stat seems kinda pointless, but this could potentially make a character with normal health seem to have the health stat of a beefy grappler, just because of how much damage it takes to knock them out. The only fighter I've seen this stat best used with was Q from Third Strike, where his taunt boosts damage reduction by 10%. A few taunts later and suddenly it's harder to kill him than Alex.
