Xagetta listened when Envi went on her little rant, when Fang started he could only smile. "You and me both." He whispered to himself, with a slight chuckle at the end. Though honestly he understood the reason why Envi wanted to be alone right now, as much as he did Grimm. A lot of s**t had went down in a single night, none of which they were ready to deal with. So much pain and trauma, it would be hard to take it all in. Stay strong everyone, we'll get through this. I promise. His thoughts were hopeful any way, though it didnt seem likely.

Even if they suppressed the oncoming danger, at the end of it all they still had to fight a being they had no idea how to beat, or even kill for that matter. As long as Chains was imbued with those powers, he was virtually unstoppable. How do you kill something that just wont die? He has to have a weakness, even Ryu as powerful as he was still had a weakness, but this Chains character. It's like he's practically invincible, every attack I made on him had absolutely no effect on him, even if it did he probably just healed it up before I could do any more damage on him. Even so, with that massive attack that Legion or what ever that was did left him torn apart, and still he regenerated it. I hate to say it but Im at a total loss on how to kill him. He closed his eyes as he thought his way through this, for all intents and purposes he was stumped. He sighed and scratched the back of his head, it was clear he had no idea what to do.

James just scowled at Envi, and huffed when she left. Like he cared what she thought. Better a fool then a coward in his book. "Whatever, she can think whatever she likes about me, I guess its therapeutic to her. Don't let her get you down Fang, shes probably just venting right now, your not her only target." He shrugged his shoulders as if it didnt matter to him in the least. He turned to Xagetta who was in deep thought. "I for one thank you for your efforts, I may be new here but even I can see you have been doing all you can for us, and personally that means a lot to me. Though I honestly wouldn't want to be in your shoes, you seem to take a lot of the responsibility around here, and that usually puts good people in bad situations." He was right, and he would know, it's happened to him on quite a few occasions.

Xagetta turned to James' direction when he heard him talking, then smiled in response. "Hey it's not a problem. Believe me I know what you mean, some times it can get realy stressful around here. Though obviously you seem to know where you coming from." He raised an eyebrow to that statement, as if it were an all-knowing gesture. The smile following it was proof of that.

James however could only laugh in response. "Yeah I have had my fair share of troubles, her being one of them." This referring to Envi, as he gave a nod in her direction. "The way I see it, yeah bad s**t happens when you try to do the right thing, but at least some good comes out of it. Take Edward for instance, yeah he killed Ryu's brother and sent him on his path of self-destruction, but in the end he also saved his life on numerous occasions. Edward could have killed Ryu at any time, but he didnt. That shows he has some amount of goodness in him, no matter how dim it may be." James had a solid point, Edward may have had a bad side to him, but still he was trying to control it.

Xagetta folded his arms, and closed his eyes, as he thought about what James had said. "Yeah your right. Edward could have snuffed him out long ago, but he didnt. Whether it was an act of mercy or pity, who's to say, either way he still spared his life more times then Ryu tried to take his. That's more then I would have done, if it were me I would have taken Ryu out long before now. Guess that shows who's the better man between us." He gave a half hearted smile as he looked towards Edward. "Which brings me to question, why did you save Edward's life? Not that I'm ungrateful or any thing, but what are you getting out of the deal, aside from the lycan powers I mean?" He looked back towards James when he asked that.

James just gave a sly grin and narrowed his eyes at Xagetta. "Don't get it twisted, its not like I planed to get turned or even save Edward for that matter. To be honest there wasn't even time to think, I saw Ryu coming at Edward and my body reacted. Even if I had ulterior motives, what makes you think I would want to be turned by Edward's most hated enemy? Its as I said, I did what I thought was right and got turned in the process. Yeah sure the powers are a bit of a help, but becoming a Lycan as you say wasn't exactly what I had in mind. Well I answered your question, could you do the the honor of answering mine?" He cocked his head to the side, as a curious dog would do. "Why do you help these guys? From what I know of demons, they aren't exactly the most generous of beings, I guess in a way Im asking you the same question. What drives you to protect them?" It was a simple question, bold as it was.

Xagetta looked puzzled at the question as if he had to think about it while he laid his arms to his sides. He smiled and answered the only thing he could. "Well I guess I can respect that. Well to be honest myself, I guess you could say I owe a debt to them. Not only did they save my life, as well as what ever fragment of a soul I have, but they also gave me a reason to exist." A rather strange answer to be sure, but hey it was an honest one.

((Sorry I know I was blathering on between characters, I guess this is the reason why hidden made it so you cant have 2 of them in the same place. OK you guys can post at any time you know. stare ))

All who spoke was clearly heard from the slight echoes that brought the words farther into the caves. Envi could care less on what she heard, she didn't care about who she pissed off, or how her actions were inappropriate. It didn't matter to her. Envi stopped on one turn when she got to a solid rock wall in her path. She just leaned against it and practically slid down it so she was seated, that's when a wolf headed towards her. Immediate knowledge told her it was Fang. Envi half scowled at him but eased up. There really wasn't any reason to be upset with Fang. Atleast no reason that he could have fixed. She cleared her throat "I was waiting for you, while you were sleeping. I was waiting for you to come. You don't know how many times I was calling your name in my head, hoping with sure luck that you'd be there in a second. But you weren't. I'm not blaming you, or rather I shouldn't. But I- I just expected too much, didn't I?" Envi muttered keeping her eyes locked on Fangs. "That's selfish huh? What I really should be is grateful you were NOT there."

Fang whimpered once, then rested his head between her chest and her knees. He really missed her, but he couldnt help it with all the things going on. his favorite place to be was with envi, no matter where she was. He looked up and licked her cheek once out of affection.

One of fangs ears drooped at his disdain for the situation. He was finally back with his love and didnt want to leave. He focused and sent pulses of healing energy through the caves. the insulation of the cave walls would guide it straight to edward where it was needed. He continued to send gentle pulses once he found how much effort was needed with his unrestrained power.

((Had to drive all the way to Gingerface's to post on her computer because I have 'problems unsolved and never will be solved' as my Old Man said lol. Yeah still having the computer trauma. Hopefully it should be good in about a 5 days top? I hope...*Crosses fingers*))

His fists clenched together. And his head hit against the ground so hard that it left an imprint in the stone. No words, or touched ceased him. Even at Fang's healing pulsations they didn't do anything. Mentally atleast. His wounds were healing abit, still at a surprisingly slow state but it was the internal and or mental issues that would be more difficult to heal then the external wounds. He cried out again and his fists hit the ground leaving imprints again. There seemed to be veins sticking out from his neck as he tensed every part of him again before crying out in pain again.

Envi didn't respond to either acts of affection except for turning her gaze away. Of course she wasn't mad at him. Nor disappointed. It was everything she had learned today and what soon would be happening. The epiphany of it all was coming down. "Listen...you need to know what all went down..." Envi began but her attention pulled on the sudden cries of agony. She jumped nearly hitting Fang in his jaw with her knee. Her eyes turned down the caves from where the screams were taking place. It took her a moment to relax her wide eyes and realize it was Edward finally having the adrenaline rush die.

Kiara nodded at Xagetta. She didn’t know what was happening either. She didn’t even know how to explain something like this in him, he wasn’t human so the symptoms wouldn’t be the same. She jumped up on him told his body still with hers and put her palms on either side of his face, trying to hold still, before speaking. “Edward. Please. Edward.”
