Jaden remained crouched in the corner without moving as he responded. Thats quite alright Fate. he thought. You know that Silver is concerned for you? you should talk things out with him. Keeping dark secrets is not something you should do if you care about him.

Fate rubbed her arm. Jaden, you can clearly see, I am but a young lady with little to hide. You were there, you saw.
She looked back to Silver, taking his hand. It was warm, and she embraced it with her own.

I was puzzled for a moment by Fate's words, but then I remembered her reaction when I told her to leave the room. "I'm sorry if I made you angry. I didn't mean it like that at all."
As she wrapped her hand around mine, I squeezed it tight. "I hope you can forgive me."

Jaden cracked his neck before continueing. Fate, I've said it before and I'll say it again; you are a terrible liar, at least to me. There is something going on that you should tell him. Just being open to your thoughts I can feel it. I will leave if you like but it needs to be said.

Fate smiled gently, kissing Silver's cheek as best she could. "I do. But what can a girl do? Men will be..Lycans." She blushed gently and leaned on the door frame, hoping to not bother Jaden.
I don't know what more I can be careful about, though..Jaden, what do I need to tell him? You know there's nothing that I can tell Silver that I can't tell you. And I'm not lying, you're just nosey in a confused Vampire's mind!
Rubbing Silver's thumb with her own, Fate shifted legs. They were hiding something. Every man was. If it was important enough to hide from her though, she knew it was not her place to intrude. Fate would bypass this one.

Fate, if you wish to pry then go ahead and do so. It is enough for me that Silver has already done the favor I asked of him. To you I also leave the charge if you desire, I feel it would be well suited to you.
Jaden suddenly stood up. "I must leave I'm afraid. Other appointments to keep and such. Take care of each other."
With that the immense wolf crawled out of the balcony door and onto the building wall.

I nodded as Jaden left by way of the balcony. "If you truly want to know what Jaden and I were talking about, I will tell you. He said that I could let you know. Its really not that big of a deal." I could still feel the necklace in my front jacket pocket. The silver stung a little, even through the jacket layer. Thats fine, though. It'll just be a reminder of the promise I made to Jaden.

Fate sighed. "Take care Jaden, dear."
Looking back to Silver, she shrugged. "Love, if it was important enough to keep this secret from my knowledge, then I will not pry into it." She gently rested her head on the door frame, afraid of causing him discomfort again. "I trust your intentions, however. You and Jaden are almost all I have, so it is respect I hold." Her eyes dulled slowly, the spark a now soft mix of grays and crimson. Fate stroked Silver's hand once more and let go. She just did not want to make him uncomfortable, if anything else.

"Okay. I just didn't want you to feel like we were leaving you out or something like that. Thank you for trusting me." One of the few people who has... I saw her eyes dim. "Are you tired or is it time for us to go out?" At these words, I glanced out of the window and at the darkness out there.

She smiled weakly. "Whatever you want, dear. I'm just trying to provide you breathing room." Patting his chest gently, Fate stood up straight and adjusted her robe. Hopefully Silver couldn't smell the clothes in her room.
The scar began to tense up. Gracious..what this time? It was a terribly new and uncomfortable feeling. Ignoring it as best she could, Fate toyed with her hair in the opposite hand.
