I have no idea...Rei offered, shaking his head as he helped Lacuna back to her seat. Was it my magic, maybe? he asked, frowning slightly as he summoned a glass of icewater to offer the girl.

"Well.. Normally I'd say that would be a logical explanation, but I was fine up until that very moment.. I don't understand it.. Sorry.. I guess I just get overwhelmed or.. I'm not sure.."
Lacuna took the glass of water with a smile before bowing her head and gazing into it.
"I'd go home in my condition normally, but I rather be anywhere else..", she said remembering who exacly lived there.

Rei nodded to Lacuna, understanding that sometimes home is too full of painful memories and the likes. Maybe...somebody's watching over you, and not liking the company you've found in me? he laughed, shaking his head some as he nibbled at a small bit of the muffin that was left.

"I don't see anyone else of better company", she said biting her lip as she watched Rei finish off the muffin. Lacuna threw her arms around herself, she had forgotten that she still had her wet clothes on until now.

Lacuna's comment brought a blush to Rei's hidden cheeks, as he could think of quite a few who would make better company. Maybe they're jealous, of sorts, that you're not with them instead? he offered, shifting his eyes to look to Lacuna, who he didn't notice was wearing wet clothing.

Lacuna thought for a moment and smirked, "Yes, I could definately see why that would make someone jealous.", she stated rather bodly.

Rei coughed a laugh, not quite sure how to take the comment. People do tend to get jealous...From experience. he offered, brushing his fingers through his hair as he was sort of at a loss of words; The feelings Lacuna brought out of him not something he was used to, not something he was really sure he'd like to get used to.

Sunray Tristram Nikolai raised a brow but decided not to argue the point or push it away. He hadn't tasted much of anything in years and blood was getting boring. And so he lifted the cup gently and placed it to his lips before tipping it slightly for a taste. It almost surprised him that he could taste it at all. "It is very good," he said softly before setting the cup down again. Misaki said with a bright smile, grabbing the cup and putting it to her lips, taking a rather large gulp, seeing as it had cooled down quite a bit. She looked to him and laughed softly. Would you like your own to drink? she asked, gently touching the top of his hand.

Rei looked to Lacuna a moment before sort of laughing, shaking his head some before gesturing with his hand, a mix of dismissal of her comment, and a summoning of his empty cups and muffin crumbles to the garbage. I'm not sure if that's a good, or a bad thing...he replied, tilting his head to her just slightly, milky white eyes looking into her rather crystal blue ones.

Lacuna felt a massive surge of butterflies in her stomach suddenly and smiled, giggling slightly.
"It's kind of a both type of thing", she said with a wink. "I'm kind of glad you threw an insult me now", she said jokingly.

Rei couldn't help but laugh some. Glad I threw an insult at you, huh? He chuckled some more and shook his head, covering his mouth with a pale, slender hand to hide his rather obvious amusement. Well you, darlin', are really something else. Because I can't say I've ever met, or heard of someone, who at any point would be glad they were insulted.

"It got my mind off of well...." Lacuna trailed off in her sentence and sighed.
"Exception to every rule I suppose", she finally said taking her first sip of the water Rei have previously offered her with a yawn. "It doesn't matter though, this will all be put behind me after I leave the Underground..", she thought aloud.

You're...leaving? Rei muttered after a moment, eyebrows raised in a sort of shock. He wanted to mention that running away was no way to solve problems, but if she wanted out, that was her perogotive, and he more than understood the desire to just seperate yourself.

"I originally came here for the same reason and stayed because of Jakkin and Suru, but it seems all I do is cause problems and no one wants me here anyhow", she shrugged and bit her nails. "It just seems that I cause nothing but problems..."
