Lt. Brookman Take vice pin and drill small hole in stump. Take piece of wire or paper clip and bend that into hook. Insert hook into hole. Result: crude prosthetic. I already have a different guy with a hook hand made out of Gstuff.

Cover the hand with bandages and make sure the fellow has grenades? Mayhaps an accident with a pin?
Or hack off the hand of something useless and mix and match. I'm a fan of the slicing and dicing method. It makes me, what, four painted minatures look cool and ensures I need about a crate of greenstuff.

-Mykal Well, extremism has nothing to do racism in most cases. Unless it's America of course. Please kill all members of that Westboro church, PLEASE! The Imperium is a nice example of religious extremism really. We have these people devoted to a deity and abolish most other religions, are extremely xenophobic and are fighting a holy war against everything opposing their religion. Basically classic Christian and Muslim faith in a nutshell and handy parody form.

On Topic -
Just how important is AT for a small force? I'm looking at a small, two platoon army to start with, and I don't know what to do. I mean, I will get two boxes of the Heavy Weapons Platoons, and I plan on making my Squads carry a mix of Missile Launchers and Heavy Bolters.
It's the two units worth of left-over bases and bits I'm concerned with. What should I go for with them?

Put the missile launchers on normal troops, not using the 60mm bases. If really short on part, convert heavy bolters thus that two men are carrying it or carrying parts of it.

Okay, I guess I'll end up redoing my army list sometime later with the doctrines and advise in mind, but for right now I'm just going to list what I think I should do for my doctinres for my Krieg army.
Garunteed:
Die-Hards
Hardened Fighters
Storm-Trooper Squads/Grenadiers
Possible:
Sharpshooters
Special Equiptment: Carapace Armour
Later on after I've played my army for a while I'm going to include one Hardened Veterans squad, and then after a while I may end up using the Veterans Doctrine in conjunction with the Carapace Armour, as that it'll be cheaper point-wise. Also, I'd consider using the Rough Rider Squadrons, but I'd have to have special Krieg Models (presumably from Forge World), as that I don't like the way the Attilans look. Well, I actually thought about using Krieg soldiers and the motorcycle upgrade packs, but that might be too complicated and/or expensive.

You automatically get Grenadiers for taking Storm troopers and vice versa, the last FAQ update states it. And I'd take the Carapace armour ups if you want to field some heavier infantry plats.
