"Oh!!!" Sunny let out a long breath of relief and smiled up at him. "That's Neji's shirt! I have a ton of his closed. He MADE me take them with me so I wouldn't forget him" she explained, not realizing that Kibo hadn't the foggiest who Neji was.

Kibo cocks his head, his mind once again playing tricks on him. Who is this Neji character? An old flame? Another arranged marriage partner? Some lucky guy she picked up on the ocean?

Sunny tried to surpress her laughter by slapping her hands over her mouth and averting her eyes but her giggles would not be tamed. After a fair amount of chuckles she gasped for air and shook her head. "He's my cousin!" she blurted out uncerimoniously. "My incredibly over-protective cousin who is MARRIED" she said upon seeing Kibo's skepticism. "Who did you think he was?" she asked, thrilled to see Kibo slightly unglued over her.

With that, Kibo's doubts, fears, and sadness disappated, leaving him feeling only guilty for doubting his love's loyalty. He squats, at eye level with Sunny, and bows his head in apology.
Kibo: I'm sorry. My mind tends to wander, and being in Tortuga's let me see the worst mankind has to offer, so my mind now immediately thinks worst-case scenario. I apologize again.

Sunny's eyes narrowed but she was still smiling. "Really? What did you think? Honestly, Kibo...." She leaned in and whispered conspiratorily, "I'm still a maiden!" she said with a full-body blush.

Kibo's face was crossed with an expression that indicated, if he had been drinking a drink at the time, said beverage would currently be sprayed across the wall.
Kibo: You're a... what?!
He soon had a blush rivaling hers.

Sunny shot up and got right in his face with a mix of horror and indignation. "Is that really SO shocking?!" she hissed at him. Her fists were clenched at her sides and she was tensed to launch him through the hull of his own vessel.

Sunny suddenly looked baffled and her bravado instantly drained. "W-wait.... Th-this isn't right... Y-you... You should be the confident o-one..." she stuttered as she remembered herself.

Sunny's bravado drains from her, right back into Kibo. As her stuttering comes back, his own disperses. He chuckles his knowing Kibo chuckle, taking her chin between his thumb and index finger, tilting it up.
Kibo: It's alright. We need to see life from each other's sides from time to time.
He leans forward, kissing her gently.

Sunny blushed but brazenly pressed herself against him and hugged him tightly as he kissed her. She finally pulled back and tapped him on his nose. "You still owe me one hell of an apology" she admonished.
