^o^ Hiyaaa. I dunno if I posted here yet or not. >_>.
I'm in 7th grade, and I've been playing clarinet since 6th grade. Not yet really experienced, but I'm doing pretty well. I play on a 3 reed. ;O
And, uhm... I tried out for Honor band this year... But failed. Dx

i'm a freshman in high school and made second chair in band 2 [the second highest band]. the only person in front of me is third chair in band 3, and there's about seven or eight clarinets in that band. i hope to make it to band 3 next year. oh, and i've been playing the clarinet since fifth grade so i've been playing for four years. biggrin

I've been playing clarinet for 11 years and counting. I've been primarily on third, but lately I've been getting 1st and 2nd parts. domokun My university band has a "rotating parts" policy - we rotate between the parts, so we all get a chance at each of the parts. Much better than the chair system. Ugh.

Whoo yeah, clarinets!!! Lol, I've been playing since... 7th grade, yeah I'm a late bloomer, but it's still cool. My BD said if I had started with everyone else I prolly would've been in Wind Ensemble instead of 2nd band, oh well. I love band though, it's too fun. And Wind Ensemble is MUCH much too time-consuming, I mean, I need to do my HW too but whatever.
So-- yeah, now I'm a freshman clarinet at Bowie High School, yay me! And even though I hate almost every clarinetist in MB I usually get along well with the people in normal band. ;3 heart

I'm Hell_Fire_13. I am currently a freshman at Holdrege High School. I have been playing the clarient for 4 1/2 years. My school has finished this years marching band season and we are ranked 3rd in our district. We recived Superior in every compitition we participated in. (We preformed the Riverdance if anyone knows that one). I am planning on staying in band throughout high school and some during college as I am planning to go to the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.

hullo, i've been playing clarinet since 5th grade (when they let us start band) the main reason i picked it was because i have a bit of an aversion to brass and could get a sound out of it (even if it was only a squeak sweatdrop ). my mom and dad wanted me to play flute, which is what my mom plays, so they wouldn't have to buy me one, hehe, i proly have almost 2,000 spent on my band career. 600, 1st plastic clarinet, 1000, 2nd buffet wood clarinet, (whom i call "My Baby") any amount of money spent on bad-good reeds, 80, vandoren mouthpiecs, 25, rovner ligature, 15, cotten/silk swab, and new case this christmas since the hinge on my current case has completely fallen apart, oh, 10 for the reed humidifier, which makes my reeds moldy, need a lower setting

yeah my mom wanted me to play flute too, since we had one, but i really wanted to play clarinet, because my sister had played it when she was in school and i guess i was just fascinated by it. but i love my clarinet, well except for a couple of weeks ago when it wasn't playing and i had to go and get it fixed. but it's all good now
