Neo was a little surprised that they were sent back to the Baker so soon.
Wow that was quick.
Neo sat on the ground, tired from the past battle.
"What a fight. Hmm we didn't get to see Batman."
Her face had a look of some disappointment.

"I'm afraid the Dark Baker has shielded the exact location of the Doom ovens from my scanners. Fear not, you destroyed one of the key targets." The montier screens showed other heroes and the occasional villains fighting and attacking Doom Oven's around the world. "It seems that the main one not being engaged lies somewhere near where I collected you three, but I cannot pinpoint the location. Rest now, I'll send you back to your city once you are prepared."
Meanwhile, in the basement of city hall, Jaeger was attacked by a large powerful figure. "I am Doughtosser! I toss you for Dark Baker!" He grabbed jaeger and tossed him across the room.

"WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! OOF!" Jaeger bounced off the wall and landed with a thud on the floor. The injuries were minor and his healing factor had already gone to work on them. I picked himself up off the floor and got ready to try to fight back.

Emmast thought about everything for a moment, then unsteadily stood up "Thanks for the offer but-" she formed the words in her head "We just need to try harder. We should go help out now because Last time I checked heroes didn't wait to fight evil just because they were tired. Right guys?" She placed a hand on one of her legs that seemed to wobble threatiningly.

Neo tried not to move so much at the moment for fear of hurting herself.
Darn I wish I knew how Jaeger and the others were doing. Hopefully they can manage a bit longer till we are back on our game.
Neo let out a deep sigh then looked to her friend.
"Emmast from the looks of it, you should relax a bit and try to get your strength back too. Sure heroes fight the bad guys but if we get in way over our heads then we would be doing more harm then good. Just wait a while and remember the Baker will send us when its time."

"Oh no! hang on, Johnny!" Megan's martian speed kicked in and she flew quickly towards the Human Torch being careful for avoid the burning beam heading from him towards the Doom Oven. She used her Martian Vision to carefully blast the device attached to Johnny.

Tearing himself away from the free (and benevolent!) donut bar, Virg snarfs down a maple bar (of goodness!) while pondering their predicament.

"Yeah but Neo..." she turned to Neo "I know that we shoudl rest but what if something happens to them in the meantime. We're all tired, the best we can do is just to get this over and done with as soon as possible. Besides, I don't know about you but I don't think I could relax knowing that evryone else is having trouble fighting moster pasteries. Don't you think?"

Emmast bit her lower lip, did I do something wrong...I mean- I just "I thought" She brought her hand out about to touch Neo but thought twice and brought it back quickly tightening it by her side. She sighed.

Some screens flashed at the Baker's control room. "We have found the third Doom Oven. It seems the Gotham battle has set back the Dark Baker's schemes and he's stalled construction of new Doom Ovens. The third oven is in... the town I pulled you from." The Baker blinked. Twice. "Crap. Alright, back you go. And thank you."
With a flash of light, the young heroes were transported to the city hall basement, just in time for Jaeger to come crashing through the wall and landing in a heap.
