Shaking his head at her for a moment, Haki's face split into a wide grin as she agreed to his request Finally! I'm can live IN the village now! but now he'd lost his mother again to her duties as Raikage....though "Someone blew up mom's office?!" he asked in shock, raising with her and finally releasing her from the hug. Gin and Rain looked properly cowed and ducked their heads before vanishing from the area, leaving Haki completely in his mother's care until she gave him to a teacher This Kein and Dai characters seem to be awfully troublesome... he thought, nervously leaning back into his mother's side. This was a rather nerve racking first incident for him to come into and mostly out of fear of what if his mom had been IN the office. Haki eyed the red head and reached out to take a gentle hold of the bow in back of his mother's obi, mostly to comfort himself for the moment "Are you going to go after them, mom?" he asked, anxiously. What was he going to do? He'd never been alone in the village before...what if he got lost? Living a slightly sheltered life, for the son of a shinobi anyways, he'd never been alone. Now...now it looked like his mom was going to be gone for a while...so where did that leave him?

"If Kein lost control, Suzume, there's a good reason," the raikage answered Suzume, looking outward. Neither she, nor Suzume really had a means to track the man... That meant the sensor she knew was most capable, Dai, was already gone after him. This was bound to become complicated, tracking the man down. Kinpaku looked back to Suzume, "Find Sukai, possibly her brother, as well. Send them out."
Sukai was necessary, if Dai was as wounded as Suzume made the girl out to be. Then again, Shiro would be most useful, as he'd be able to search from the sky. It was regrettable, but neither she nor Suzume could do much in the ways of tracking Kein as Dai's natural abilities. "We'll hear him out, once we get word of his location, and then I'll pass my judgment," ruled the Oni, looking about.
"Not just yet, but I should have to soon." The tone... It seemed rather resigned. Now, Hakkin had always had someone about, leaving him would... Well, it'd be problematic, but he wouldn't learn his way about if he didn't. "I have to be ready to move, Hakkin."

Having taken something of a short break to help her grandmother with her planting Yuugao had to return to the Dojo to finish up her training in her sword style. Her and Asagao both were very near completing all of their Bukijutsu skills that they were permitted to learn. It was hard and long training that either understood would take a certain level of seriousness. This al was made even more clear thanks to Yuu's teacher Suzume.
Nigiri [ Double Slash ] Rank: C :: Simple/
Innocent Rain Rank: B : : Complex
Walking into the dojo with her partner Asagao Yuu's joy in returning to the dojo could be seen on her face. Gripping her blades at the hip she'd glancing over towards Asagao looking to see if he'd ben prepared to fight. Since Yuu needed to train her bukijutsu and Taijutsu techniques the focus was really on her today. Though Asagao did have a few techniques to learn in a new style as well. [1/5][1/8]
Yuu's two sword style had only grown in the recent days and she'd only come to become more fluent in knowing her own gauge for her strength when using her techniques. Drawing her blades she'd smile at Asagao with a snide sneer. he'd only reply which drawing his own blade and soon the cascading series of techniques which had to be reviewed would come. For Asagao it was much more serious given that Shigure Souen style didn't allow one to make mistakes. Only perfection on every attempt was allowed into the style. [2/5] [2/8]
The techniques in question they were looking to master here were completely different from one another. For Yuugao, she'd had to further her variety. Asagao on the other had skill already in defending himself and his size and weight played well into his style, but maneuverability was still hindered in the sense that he didn't have exactly the same control on his speed and reflexes as was person might. Though when in full sprint he could easily beat any normal human. As soon as both had their swords drawn and came to focus on their objectives they'd begin. [3/5] [3/8]
Yuugao would dash forth with her two swords frayed to her sides not showing any clear defense. She'd wanted to confuse Asa, but he was to sharp to just fall for a draw in like that rather he'd fall back on his tail and skip back to gain some room from her to make her under shot the path of her blades as she'd attack drawing her blades up to strike for his chest. As Yuu slashed her blades up from her sides she'd quickly adjust her grip to allow the to run parallel. The slashes was path and conjoined force were rather sudden and even with Yuu's small frame her clear difference in strength from practicing a style that used two swords would force Asagao to claw into the floor.[4/5] [4/8]
The traction needed for a body as large as Asagao to keep from falling over was hard and also to try and perform a side-step was difficult. Yet he'd made it his business to learn a means to his end long ago when he was training earlier in the style. Asagao would retreat tot he right and as quickly as he'd made it out of the full force of the "nigiri" He'd respond with a strike of his own to Yugao's side. just using his normal strength he'd press Yuu back some as she'd have time to pull her left arm back to create something of a defense. She'd follow up with her right arm as well soon after to give blade with the force she'd need to put behind her arms to keep from losing balance against the three hundred pound kangaroo's muscular body. Yuu was capable of defending but she wasn't going to get away that easily. Asagao had started to concentrate his chakra into his legs. Pooling it and concentrating the chakra in a similar fashion to Yuu's black leg techs. He'd taken to the lesson in meditation particularly well so it was far more natural to him that one would expect for a novice. [6/8]
Suddenly Asagao would increase in speed putting more velocity behind his already taxing mass. The force which was produced was enough to throw Yuu gao back. Her body was flung from the sudden hard swing of the blade from Asa's end.It was as if she was a sinker ball thrown to a batter which hung on to the bat for a few seconds before being sent flying over the top as a homerun. Her distance of was impressive but even more so was what Asagao did next with in the next frame of happenings. [7/8]
Asagao speeds increase along with his already impressive jumping strength and land traveling speed made for an impossible to track shift in position if one had normal senses or didn't have a strong eye technique or sensor abilities. He'd come from behind Yuu mid-ar and wind back his leg for a powerful which would come crashing down on Yuugao's frame. The predicament could spell the end of this training session for her. Yet Yuugao wasn't done for yet she'd allowed her self to be set into a spin with a throw of her own weight. Though her arms were feeling numb from the shock of the strike which was sent reeling trough her body from her swords.
Yuu would meet asa's leg like a trampoline with her own feet and allowed her self to be kicked from hi leg using her black leg proficiency to allow her to rocket down in a quaking landing on the ground Causing her to stagger but not fall due to her stamina and endurance. [8/8]
Tourou [ Climbing a Tower ] Rank: C :: Complex/
Fiendish Speed Rain Rank: B : : Complex
Yuugao wasn't nearly finished with Asagao as he'd still be air born in the seconds of her mind would take to snap out of the grog of traveling to ground at the speed and force she did. Her legs now too were feeling numb, and it made for a slightly sluggish motion as Asagao would be falling. It was time to take him while he'd been open to strike from the air. As much as Asagao was fair on the ground in mid air he'd currently had no defense rather than what he could do with his tail and blades. [1/6] [1/8]
Moving her blades into the same quickly paralleled formation as the nigiri. Yuu would jump as she'd let out the words "Tourou!" Simultaneous to her action the fact that she'd said it aloud wouldn't factor much into he equation. Also asagao didn't know this technique. Yuugao on the other hand had become familiar with both her own techniques and Asagao's since she was the one who had to translate. Despite not using the Shigure Souen style she was familiar to it's practices. [2/6] [2/8]
This more than anything made Yuugao a greater potential threat than she normally already would be due to her skills and versatility. Yuugao attack would move chakra from her body into her blades and focus it to shoot out two vertically ascending chakra projectiles. Asagao not having any sure fire way to dodge since he couldn't' air-jump would have not choice but the take the strike which would cut him slightly as his own two blades would be drawn in a diagonal cross to ry and stave off the force of the Tourou. Yuu wasn't waiting on things this time her momentum was only starting as she'd continue. [3/6] [3/8]
Using her nigiri like fang yuu would get in close on the near ground Asagao and hook onto his left arm. Bracing her self with her leg to his forearm. He was strong enough to hold her weight and more, but without footing and still in free fall throwing him about just enough to swing his own weight and hers was possible for Yuugao. "You really should of held back earlier. You really nearly killed me my little Joey!" Purposely calling Asa a child out of a slight disdain for what happened earlier yuu would throw the large mammal about. [4/6] [4/8]
A snort of clear disagreement or annoyance with yuu's behavior would come from asagao as he'd brace for impact clenching his eyes as his body would be knocked about into the ground. The shock disoriented him just as Yuugao was before but he neither was going to give this up before the two of them had a good work out. It took him a bit of time to get up as Yuu would kick off and roll on the ground away from Asagao. He'd try and bare the strength on his body in having all its weight come to bare on the ground. As large as he was being so big meant he fell harder and in doing so in the wrong manner could mean a fairly harsh handicap afterwards. [5/6] [5/8]
Yuu would be drawn to crunching waiting for her next strike as Asagao was catching his wind. Though given his species and natural physique it wouldn't take as long as it would for a human to recover. The animal would reply to Yuu earlier remark with a few muttered words of his own in the gibberish which only Yuu could understand given her partnership with Asagao and her families connection with Kangaroo's. Yuu would be forced to smile at the remark and reply. "Well, if I'm being a b***h why don't you come over here and make me pay for it. Teach me a lesson Asagao. Show me some of the that morning glory. " [6/6] [6/8]
Lame jokes from Yuugao always made Asa embarrassed for her but he'd stand by his partner even if he thought she was being a bit of a b***h just because he'd sent her flying earlier. It was probably her pride she was defending in acting like this, but one thing she didn't bet on was asagao defending his own as well. Really they'd both started to form a well trained Swordsman and it wasn't something to take lightly when challenged in your skill. Asabgao approach would come in slight steps forward before he'd perfrom his technique. [7/8]
Suddenly in a burst of chakra fro his legs Asagao's chakra signature would explode as if to announce his on anger and frustrations. He'd practically disappear as he'd come in a flaming illusion of chakra energy. Moving so fast yuugao wouldn't' have any time to react really but just stand there with her smug grin and thinking to herself how she'd like to continue. It was a fatal jump in speed which made for Yuu's reaction near impossible the way she'd been standing. Asagao would make into her strike area and op just short of her side as he could of thrusted her straight trough. When Yuu realized what happen only a drop of sweat would come from her head as she'd remember telling him about this technique and now seeing it would feel rather taken back by the power. Backing down her childish antiques Yuu would sigh and bow her head to as to allow him to know he'd won this time. [8/8]
Outourou [ Reply Climbing a Tower ] Rank: C :: Complex/
Insight Rain Rank: B : : Training
Since Yuugao had withdrawn from sparing with Asagao for training it gave Asa some time to himself. Asagao had finally gotten to the point in the Shigure Souen style where he'd be able to extend his senses beyond his normal animal instincts. So in the mean time Yuu would take to perfecting the series of strikes in the two sword style. The Nigiri was just the start. The techniques were from there a series of Chakra projectiles which strung together to press her opponents into corner. [1/6] [1/8]
Yuu's training would simply take place with her going trough the motions since Asagao was too busy with his own thing she'd have to work alone. Asa would take a meditative position crouching low on his legs and drawing his hands into a hand sign as he'd try and get a feel for his chakra. He needed to extent his chakra out around him. Not violently but rather as something of an invisible mist of awareness. This chakra would become a sixth sense. [2/6] [2/8]
Yuu would begin her training as well by drawing her longer Tasogare and one of her short swords . Twirling them about in her hands she'd start to move the swords around her and fluidly trying to get a feel for the weight of wielding this combination of her two sword style. Yuu found it fairly harder than the twin drawn short swords. Keep your mind focused. These blades aren't separate from one another or you. Yet are extensions of yourself and each other. [3/6] [3/8]
This little mantra would got trough her head as she'd start in on her attacks. First and initially was the nigiri. Then was the tourou which she'd once again charge chakra into her blades to breaking to a fluid motion of bringing her blades suddenly together parallel to one another and drawing a vertical rising projectile strikes. Now following the Tourou was the particularly brutal and complimentary Outourou; which was essential the same as Tourou but descending rather than rising. [4/6] [4/8]
The Outourou was a quickly drawn second shot of the prior tourou and Chi's drawn on her charka would have to be fast for this to work. It played on the fact that she'd never made it a habit to chain her attack really outside of simple gestures. Yet both her fighting styles black leg and Santoryu left room for this consecutive assaulting pattern. As her strength would grow yuugao would take the raised blades and turn their edges to cut down. The wave of chakra created would kick up a bit of air which would only slightly perk up Asagao's ears as he'd continue in his training. The two sets of projectiles seemed to work perfectly together and though she'd only had her imagination to picture it. The vision of what this attack would hold as she'd practiced more only brought a slight sheepish grin to Yuu's face. Though she'd try to shake the feeling since it wasn't cool to be so happy about something so trivial as better fighting ability. [6/6] [6/8]
Asagaos chakra had started to permeate around him and in doing so it had allowed him to start feeling the sensation of emotions of other living things around him as well. Though specifically he'd started to feel the flow of negative intents from those around him. The other s in the dojo had mixed feelings on losing. Though the malice was felt Asagao could figure it wasn't going to be acted on. [7/8]
Living in a village full of technically"assassin" and "killers" mad it not the most impossible of happenings that someone held a bit of darkness in their hearts. Asagao may have been a beast, but he wasn't stupid in the least. Something of peoples nature came naturally to him and just as before as he'd done with all his other shigure souen techniques he'd come to master this one with ease. Though in truth knowing that someone or thing was close with the intent to kill didn't allow him to no exactly where it was. [8/8]
Hirameki [ Flash ] Rank: C :: Complex
Once asagao was doen he'd made it his business to help Yuu finish up with the third stage of the Santoryu. Yuu would be sitting crouched trying to figure out what she wanted to do next. The technique in mind was the Hirameki. Simply said it was like the tourou and outtorou just based on a horizontal field and it closed in from either side. Hearing Asagao hop along behind her Yuu would turn with a puzzled expression as she'd loo into her partners eyes. [4/5]
" Not like it's a hard technique given that i've already done so much, but the movement from the focus of the nigiri paralleled motion might fel a bit off. Though 'm sure I'll get a hang of it. Common Asagao lets try it out." Asa would simply draw his blade. simply with an expression and a few noises he'd allow Yuugao to know he was ready and intending only to defend this time given that all he really needed to do was give her something to hit. now how he took said hit was another question. [2/5]
Yuu's blades wouldn't waste any time as she'd skip back away from asagao already charging the chakra necessary for the attack int her blade. Then in the next instance she'd release the projectiles on from the right and one from the left. Both coming to meet Asagao int he middle sandwiching him and even with his guard up sending him reeling back some from the force. The attack was a success and Yuugao was satisfied with that much. [3/5]
Walking over to Asagao she'd notice he'd been slightly cut from the attack. This realization brought something to mind for Yuu. Her control of her power. The Santoryu was a style granted the name of the demon sword art. Yet it had darker levels of power than other sword techniques. Though not having the most teachings out of bukijutsu santoryu was clearly a force to be reckoned with and Yuu had to tend to her partner due to her mistaken over exertion of force. [4/5]
Asagao would only snort out of some prideful concealment of his own pains and yuu would only come to hug him as she'd try to comfort him. It was odd how she'd been his friend, partner , and at times mother or even something of a child to protect to Asagao. The levels of their relationship made each everything which was needed for a family was found in one. True to the Hanshou clans ways their was only ever one "twinblade" and once past the prime of their life (the time their partner lives) the Hanshou member was meant to retire to more civil works and information collecting that direct combat. Yuu didn't feel that she could make that choice. Yet something about her and Asagao's relationship made her feel that he'd out live her if anything. So the choice never made her afraid since it never crossed her mind as a possibility. [5/5]

Nodding her head at the other's order, Suzume replied "I will, Raikag-sama." Dai had seemed worse for wear from what she had seen. Not to mention, after an explosion like that, Suzume was sure it was as bad as it seemed. It was cute in a way, seeing the boy by her side. Certainly it was amazing to hear him call her 'momma', which of course meant she was his mother. When had the Raikage given birth to a son? Luckily Cloud had come by at that moment, stating both Kyo and Maemi had disappeared from the hospital. At least now he could track Sukai's scent. Before she left though, she spotted her student Yuugao with her kangaroo practicing here in the dojo. "Yuugao! After I am done with this, I'll be back to help you train if you need it!" Stupid Apollo had kept her distracted for too long before just bailing. As did the two genin at the hospital. She had to get back to her own training as well. Turning, she and Cloud left the dojo to track down Sukai.

The whole time in the Dojo, Doki kept staring into her scrolls and then let off that occasional sigh. She didn't feel like applying herself at the time. Doki sighed, rubbing at the back of her mossy green head. Her bangs were pin up and wore orange glasses for the reading occasion. Well, no need to stress myself. Procrastination and lazing herself though however proved to be more productive for her. She felt more relaxed these days, and slept far better than she had in days. Her hands collected the various scrolls that were sprawled about the desk that she had been working in before handing them in. If anything, Doki assumed that trials of the ninja world were often practical or towards the person's first hand thought. And her's was to just go the way she prepared.
She left her way into the other areas of the Dojo. Spotting the Raikage by the corner of her eye, Doki quickly snapped her head back and recalled something familiar. "What day is it...Oh no!" Special..special day...EXAMS! Remembering now, Doki quickly dashed towards the Kage. "Ah, lady Raikage! I need- Who's this?" She gazed at the horned boy besides Kinpaku and her riddled expression showed that she had never seen his face in the village before. She looked tentative for a moment to ask him of his name like that of her usual habits but instead her head cocked back to the Raikage, prompting her permission to leave. "May I take my leave from the village to the Shinobi examinations in the Ikebana village? And later to Takumi?" |

But he had heard about the festival and wanted to go. So he stood and headed over to where Doki was and bowed to the Raikage."Might I also take a leave to go the examinations?"

Kin couldn't help but smile a bit, Haki had been Then came the matter of whom it was Hakkin should learn from. Her brow furrowed slightly, as the thought became more apparent. Suzume had plenty of students, when compared to others, and frankly, the thought of Kyo left a bitter taste in her mouth. They were of a similar age, and that would have been well for friends, but then again, Kyo had made himself into an educational pariah. He'd done little to prove he could be trusted with another.
"I have someone in mind, but it'll be a short while before she'd be available," she explained, nodding to Suzume as she departed. Yuugao was present, it seemed. How had she not noticed this? It hardly seemed important, for Doki had arrived on the scene, seeking permission. "I'll explain later, Doki, however you know you have the means to depart. It's one point of use among those of your station."
It was hardly time for her to relax from her position, it seemed though. One of the chunin, Demetri Hatake, was seeking clearance to enter the exams, but she shook her head. "I'm sorry, Demetri, but you missed your chance with the deadline..." the oni woman explained. "Haki, it's a examination for those seeking to increase their rank."

Doki was somewhat startled by his outburst but in some way she expected it. After all, the girl did stare at him without saying much so it was probably rude of her. "Oh I'm sorry Haki-san. I'm Doki, nice to meet you." She registered a smile to him even as he moved himself even closer behind Kinpaku. What? Her eyes trailed up to the Kage, who was now talking. In her mind, she wondered what his relationship was with the lady but her time to inquire now was lost as she listened. "Ok...ah..true." A bit embarrassed, Doki chuckled while rubbing at the back of her uneven bob. "Eheh. Just thought I'd let someone know. But thank you, ma'am." She turned to Demetri, vaguely remembering him at all and just sympathetically patted him on the shoulder. "Eh, well, maybe you can still go as a spectator, Demetri-san. If not, I'll save you some souvenirs, then." She said hopefully before turning back around to wave at them all, then leaving.

Haki listened to his mom attentively and nodded carefully, looking at the now named woman. Doki, it seemed, was a little slow in his opinion "It is nice to meet you, Doki-sama." he replied, politely. He might have thought her slow but that was no reason to be mean or impolite...after all...She'd called him 'Haki-san' which was nice. "So...they go there, take this exam and if they pass, they get a higher rank...." he bobbed his head in understanding as Doki-sama left and still....where was he to go now? He looked up at his mom again "Uhm...what do I do now then?" he asked, trying not to look at the depressed fellow who couldn't go to the exam.

Kin frowned some, noting the kind of reaction Demetri had replied with. She knew he didn't intend for it to be so, but she knew few exceptions could be made for the sake of his placement within them. With Doki on her way out, she was kind enough to mention that Demetri could still be made spectator to the particular situation. "Make the village proud," the woman called after her adviser, shaking her head. Always the considerate one, Doki was.
Now came the matter of Hakkin... He knew little of the village, having been raised on an outer estate. He had basic training, but then again, they needed something else. "Well Haki, I can't stay much longer, but I'm sure Demetri can help you get started on some of your training," Kin explained, volunteering her boy as a distraction to Demetri's melancholy. Maybe it would work well enough. Again, she wrapped her arms about the boy briefly. "Don't be careless in your training, though."
