OOC: My mistake sweatdrop
So Dani doesn't have to be Corky's slave?

I'm not a mod but I'm fairly sure that's what was stated. That's somewhat why I wrote Blair the way I did, to not take Dani. But I'm sure you knew that...hehe 3nodding

Jacen had stopped drinking altogether when it came time to preparing the meal. Even though it was hot this day, he was determined to cook indoors. While the meat sizzled on the rather spacious open-top grill they had available, Jacen was busy chopping up tomatoes, onions, and some lettuce for this feast. Conversely, there was also corn-on-the-cob being boiled for ready consumption. A good meal to cap off a relatively decent day...at least the losers of the games were not going to go away from it all empty handed.

He did infact prepare quite a bit more than he originally intended to, although he was just planning on treating his team, more or less. All in all, twenty-six burgers were cooked, and four more were finishing up.

"Anyone ready to get drunk finally!," he heard someone yell as they entered the house.

"Not before you eat, damnit," Jacen yelled back. As it was, the final four were finished and on a plate. "This is the first call for chow!!!!!"

Almost as soon as he said that, he heard a stampede of people rush in from virutally everywhere, grabbing up burgers the burgers and corn until there were about none left. It seemed he had made enough for everyone. Thankfully, whoever stocked the fridge seemed to be used to feeding a small platoon.

Jacen stood there for a second looking at the demolished plate of burgers, noting there were some left, but not alot. "At least they left enough for the cook." He reached to grab one of the remaining, and noticed that Penance had reached for the same one. "Go ahead," he said as he grabbed another.

"Seems like these are going over well," Evelyn said as she fixed up her meal.

"I'd hope so," Jacen said, feeling the effects of his medications wearing off. "I didn't do this all for....anyways. This is an old recipe I was taught by someone long ago."

"Your dad?"

"Nope," Jacen said, "A hispanic family that took me in for a few months."

"From what you've told me, you seem quite adept to travelling," Evelyn commented.

"That I am." Jacen slapped on a couple of leaves of lettuce and an onion ring or two before finishing up his burger. "Come on," he said with a smile as he plopped an ear of corn on his plate, "I'm going to eat outside. Care to join me?"

|| I thought, since there was an equal amount of people on each team, that everyone on the winning side got someone to be thier slave on the losing side.

Oh well, I'm keeping that post anyway. : ) New one a-coming.||

ooc: the first team didn't do it that way. i think it's just one slave for the whole winning team. pietro seems to have made the choice fo the team, gomen.

OOC: This will, hopefully, be the last OOC Post of the evening..... It's getting cluttered up in here, boys and girls.

OOC: Sorry about all of the OOCs posts...woopsies. And yeah, rawkingpop, it's a character thing. Don't think I actually hate you or anything. heh.

Blair nodded at Dani. "Don't worry about it. It was nothing. Someone needs to put those idiots in their place....do they treat everyone like they did during the volleyball game..all the time?"

He ate his sandwich and walked with Dani into the room where everyone was watching a movie. Flopping onto the couch, next to Bobby, he accidently kicked Gen in the head.

"Woops. Sorry."

He turned back to Dani and smiled, thinking about nothing in particular.

Gen let out a squeak of pain. "Hey, watch it... I'm not invisible here..." she said, glaring a little at Blair.

"Just watch where you're sitting there Blair." Bobby nudged him in the ribs with an elbow. He rubbed Gen's head where it had been kicked. "There, feel better?"

"Not really. I'm out of that happy drunken stupor I was in..." she sulked, evidently not out of the drunken stupor. It seemed Gen was a bit of a winey and pouty drunk. Whoops.
