Ali and Richard looked over at Tails direction and in an instant, Ali went over to him, not minding the black echidnas "excuse me..." she started as she placed her hand on his back "are you...by any chance...Dr. Eggman?" she asked
"Ali!!" Amy whispered through her teeth when she saw her go to eggman "are you nuts?!" she asked. "Well..Tails did say that he doesn't look right" Richard said, Amy looked at Richard confused then at Eggman till it struck her "oh...your right..." she said as her eyes grew wide a little

"Yes I am Eggman, the world's greatst inventor or at least was anyway, until an experiment gone horribly wrong stripped me of everything that I ever claimed. That experiment stuck me here and now I can't leave all I see are people laughing at me, and constant torture every day until I die, oh my I hope it is not that time again......put me down you ingrates!!!" Eggman squirmed as he was picked up by two of his own machines.
"Sorry Egghead but it is, time again for your three o'clock." The echidnas laughed.

Ali saw the black echidnas pick up the doctor and quickly whacked them with her staff "Put him down now, i'm not finished talking with him" she said.

Two of the male ones grabbed Ali.
"Tough luck kid, this old loser will be back in about an hour if he lives." The echidnas laughed again, as they pulled him away from her.

Ali looked at the two who grabbed her and didn't like it, she started squirming and whacked the echidnas with her staff "LET ME GO!!" she yelled.
Amy saw what was going on and quickly took out her hammer, charged at the echidnas and smacked them with her hammer "you heard her, now let her go!" she said/yelled

Ratchet quickly pulls out his pistol, and points at one of the echindas that is holding Eggman. "I would put the good doctor down if I were you." Says Ratchet darkly. "And if any one of you puts a hand on one of my allies, I will kill you." He threatens to the rest of the echindas.

"Oh please we aren't scared of you because we are spirits you can't kill us we are Tikal's tribe brought back as spirits to torture Eggman for the rest of his days." The echidnas said. "But only we can feel Eggman and that's it, your weapons are useless!" The echidnas laughed.

"I wasn't going to touch the doctor, he's disgusting. And I still have my teeth and claws. Now, put him down. Or become nothing, not even a spirit. Your choice." Ratchet says threateningly. Ratchet isn't entirely sure he can destroy their spirits, but he is fully ready to try.

Ali and Amy stopped after that and looked at each other then at the echidnas "but he's the only one that can help our friend who was created by him" they said in unison "and he also might know about the Dark ones" Ali added

Ratchet runs right through the echidna just as they said they were spirits and couldn't be harmed.

Ali and Amy looked at each other again then at the Echidnas "when did all of this happen?" Ali asked till she felt a nudge from Amy "what?" she asked
"Why'd you ask a question like that?" Amy asked in a whisper
"Better to find out right?" Ali whispered. Amy thought about it for a moment then finally got what Ali ment
