I followed Alice to Wonderland
And saw thing, things I dare not to say
Red liquid from Mad Hatter's tea pot hand
Gluttonous twins tell me murderous tales
Cut-throat rabbit in suit cannot be late
Foolish knight fails protecting in white mail
High, blue hookah smoker riddles me fate
Red Queen, White Queen, Alice Queen rule the place
With as much sense as math's eight minus nine
Humpty Dumpty tells me I'm a disgrace
I think sanity here is only mine.
Oh, such a Wonderland is full of woe!
"Off with my head" is how I shall now go!

I'm not sure what you mean by beta, but I'll tell you what I think of the poem XD
It reminds me of either Alice is dead or Alice of Human Sacrifice.
I like it because it gives a very dark twist on what is traditionally a happy tale.

I read it to reads who had not read the original book and they had NO clue what I was tlking about.

Haha nope- I've read the original book, I mean, you can google it and read the whole thing online for pity's sake! So if you're a fan of wonderland and you haven't read the book there's no excuse! scream

Alice's personality changes a loooot in the original though, it's almost like she's bipolar or schizophrenic (no idea if I spelled that right)- it even said that she likes pretending to be two people...
But of course the author wrote it for his niece named Alice, so I doubt he'd portray her in such a manner intentionally....

I FREAKING LOVE IT!! *bites you for yelling at me otherwise* I actually found her stupid. Not in the normal sense, but she was, what?, SEVEN?! I loved her because she was so polite. Like, I HATED Humpty Dumpty for being such a douche to her! Everyone was so rude and she was only doing her best and was seven. Poor girl. *steals imagination*
