"I..." Adele knew she hadn't been able to do as well as she could have because she'd been protecting Rue, but she knew if she said it, he'd feel bad, and she didn't want that. "I'll be fine, Rue, really." She slid off the bed, slowly. She didn't want to falter or seem weak because she thought Rue wouldn't let her go if she seemed too weak.

"You're still too...I mean, you just recovered, Rue," Adele said. "If they are there, I don't want you to get hurt before you've even gotten better...." However, she didn't want him to be there alone in case they came while they were separated.

Adele stiffened when he said that. "Fine," she said. "You can come." She pulled on her boots and grabbed some weapons. "Let's go."

Adele seemed almost angry that he'd come along. She hadn't wanted him to exert himself, since he'd lost a lot of blood.

Adele went to the market and looked around. "What kind of food do you want, Rue?" she asked.

Adele sighed a little. She went and got some different kinds of meat, some bread, and some liquor. She went back to Rue and held up what she'd gotten. "Anything else?" she asked curtly. She didn't want to stay out too long in case the hunters really were there.

Adele nodded. She held everything she'd bought and walked back to the inn. She seemed to be in a bad mood.
