"So long as Lyssie doesn't try her school antics with my 'help'."
Yes, he knew about that too. after all Malikhai got all sorts of notes and messages and information from people looking to get in good or seeking information themselves. after all, how best to get lyssie then with her brother's closest friend?

Faate was given a bag of steel and a special medal for her participation in the tournament. Her name was recorded as the ceremony stated and then she stood back while Tournament Champion was declared and recorded. It was all over with in about twenty minutes. She made her way off the field amid the cheers and found Mykorian. "I don't like fighting with my sister."
The official announced all the winners and handed out each prize as the name was called. Then Malikhai was asked to step forward while his name and title were called out. Malik's stats were announced as he was the reigning champ and then Malikhai was honored with steel, a special trophy, and a few medals for his feats. Dhairiss received the same treatment Faate had.
Kaelin stood there quietly, cheering when Malikhai's name was called but other than that, refusing to say anything.
"Oh, please do." Reaching up to gently tickle the boy and making a fool out of himself cheering at anyone and everyone. Hey, tournament was his time to let loose.

"You're no fun. Soon books are going to be too dangerous to read because they make me excited sometimes and get my pusle going." Shaking her head and giving a little pout.
Sevilin frowned slightly on the mention of Lyssie. That girl rivaled Zykariel's troublemaking. "Don't even get me started on Lyssie. Besides, she usually watches her stop when we're staying over...doesn't want you catching her because she knows you like to be creative with your issuing of threats and such."
He blinked and just stared a moment. "Then don't fight with your sister. I told her not to start fights with you, if that helps anything."
It was nice and short and sweet, just the way he wanted. All he wanted to do was get back home and reverie for ten hours straight, that would feel good. He did his thing, then let Kaelin cling to him again when he was back off the field, meeting with Faate and his brother on the sides. "I'm not doing anymore walking. You think you could convince your dad to pull a translocation on us all." Yes, she could do it too...but it was a lot of people and he didn't want to cause her nosebleeds.

"I didn't realize you could spend a day 'shopping' for food." She raised an eyebrow. "But I suppose some familiar food might be nice."
But, lucky for her, the places she'd gotten food from when she lived here had either moved or shut down.

"Well...I eat alot. See though dad doesn't talk much about Norrath, he does occasionally do things for malik there. mostly things for piper's pleasure. Other then that those two prefer to keep a healthy distance. So I've picked up a few things about what I am."
Though his ears drooped as place after place was closed, shut down, or had relocated topside. he wasn't happy that he couldn't get her at least something she wanted.
"On a bright note...I have learned to cook. well...it's campfire style, but I can do it."
"Still having issues with the girls, I see."
before looking at Piper.
"No, you can read, just not have that stuff that makes you feel like you can go running around when we both know your not able. at least not without a risk I don't think either of us are willing to take."

She tucked her medal away and crossed her arms in the ceremonial robes she'd been told to wear. "It's not that simple, Mykorian. She always wins and sometimes I just don't want her to. You let her and that's what you did wrong....or rather that's why I was so upset." Glancing over at Khai, she nodded then grabbed Lyssie who was running by. "Go deliver the message before you cause more trouble."
Lyssie's mouth opened for a moment and then she closed it with a jerking nod. "Fine." Stomping off, she slammed the door open and closed and crossed her arms at the adults in the room. "Malikhai wants you to translocate us."
She gave a shy smile to Malikhai's brother and a nod. "Congratulations to both of you." Including the Inthara in the mix. "You need to sit down." She gently pulled him towards the box and pushed him onto the bleacher like seats there. "We'll wait until we have an answer and then leave."
Zykariel joined the small group outside and bounced Kit on his shoulders. "So, are we going home?"

"I didn't know I was letting anyone win. Really I didn't. I wasn't even taking sides." Shaking his head...he was never going to win something like this and Intahra girls were notorious anyway. Sighing as they continued as well. "I doesn't help the problem when you're saying things like that. And no, that's not me taking sides because I told her the same thing about antagonizing you."
"Don't anyone start with anyone else, I can't take it right now." Letting Kaelin pull him off and plop him down, leaning forward with his knees on his elbows to relieve some of the pressue in his back. A look up to his best friend who was paling around with the youngest Inthara, as per usual when Zykariel was around. "I certinaly hope so. I just want to be as lazy as even you can be for a few days."
Sevilin gave Malik at smirk. "Oh you just wait until that one of yours is done and ready to wreak havoc unto the world. I'm sure she'll be all kinds of trouble in that way that women find to be troublesome. Even in simple matters because they mostly just can." Blinking as a slightly agitated Lyssie showed up as well. "I can imagine so." Looking back to Malik, "It's fine by me, your pack all ready to go?"
"Which is basically all the good books." Shaking her head lightly, this all just got more and more unfair and she knew it was only going to be moreso the longer along she got. It was just so hard to sit still. Unless she found herself somethings spectacular and time consuming to do while being still, oh the complaining that would ensue.

"I imagine with exception of Malikhai, most of them are ready to go and can get here. we'll probably have to move him. his back took a horrible beating. but the rest should be good to go, unless Dhairiss wants to do some shopping or something."
Glancing to his wife on that one.
"You think he'll be ready to go? he takes after you."
Before a slight grin at Sevilin.
"If she's anything like her mother, she'll be more then a handful."

"You might not have intended to but you did. Preferring her company over mine only gives her the license to hold it over my head for the rest of the day and that's annoying, Mykorian. Besides, I thought you were my friend. Are you hers, too?"
She wrapped her arm around his shoulders and gave him a nuzzle because it might make him feel better. Maybe... "I think it's a good idea. Your back is still really sore, Khai and that worries me."
"Thank the gods. Tournament gets on my nerves. Unlike races, it takes three long days to happen and then it just keeps going." Shaking his head, he glanced over as his sister reappeared and announced they were all going home. "Come on, kids. Dad doesn't like to be kept waiting." Thus, off with him.

"I never said I preferred her company over yours and...hm, I'm never going to win, am I?" Shaking his head, how come he got blamed for things that really weren't his fault? Really now. "What? I can't have other friends? That seems a little unfair, you have lots of other friends besides me."
Khai grinned at her nuzzling, wasn't that a nice feeling. Especially when it wasn't your mother doing it, as comforting as that may be at younger years. "Don't be worried. I've felt worse...just some rest and care will get me back to where I need to be. Needless to say, I'll be starting a forced vacation I'm sure." Having her help him up and ushering his own brother onward so they could head home. The more he moved the worse he was feeling, but that was the price paid for things such as glory. "You just have no patience Zykariel."
He was humming happily on his brother's shoulders. "Can we go fishing? Hm? Can we? Please? I won't tell."
"He'll be ready, he's flighty. All the excitment is over here and he'll want to find more or be lazy at home." Rolling her eyes as they spoke of unborn things. She was still a tad pessimistic on all of this.
"We're here." Being the announcer to the adults that indeed the whole brood of children were there and ready to go apprently by the expectant looks on faces.
"Sounds like it's a go." Turning another smirk back at Malik. "You have no idea what you're in for." Thusly it was a matter of runes before the whole group was back in the main hall of the fortress. "Note, I'm only saying it once to mine. If you need something from home and are old enough to get it, go get it. If you are not, someone who is old enough goes with you. And don't make a mess." Adjusting his hold on Zahara before taking her upstairs to put her to bed to reverie off her work.

"You didn't have to." Crossing her arms and sighing. "You still don't understand. It hurts my feelings when others would rather be around my sister than me. And whether you intended it that way or not, that's the way I took it."
"I think that would probably be best. Lady Inthara doesn't want you up and around either." They ended up back at Twilight and she wrapped an arm around his waist, keeping her arm down below where his back had been ravaged. "So I guess I'm staying in bed with you for the next few days."
"Yes, Kit." Bouncing the child again. He was such a ball of energy these days. "But first, do you need anything from home?"

With a small blip and a big whoosh Barhnel came skidding to a stop in front of the doors to the fortress and Galesen just rolled himself off the horse, landing on the ground with a dull thud. "Ow." A small sigh from the elf before he quickly stood up, for the ground beneath him was being covered by ice. "Barhnel, stay here okay?" That's all he could say as he took off to the doors, and as quickly as he could he did his best to open them, just getting a little bit of ice on them. When he was inside Galesen took off toward the arena, not noticing the others in the hall since he could feel the energy build up inside of him starting to get dangerously high, he did not like it high because the higher it got the more energy would be released and that would cause a bigger area, and people, to be frozen. By the time he got to the doors leading into the arena Galesen yelled at one of the slaves to open the door for him, then shut it completely and back away as far as possible since the ice could probably slip on through the cracks. When he entered the arena the door was shut behind him and he was glad no one was training at the moment. So as fast as he could Galesen made his way toward the center and when he felt that things were ok, he just let the energy out. When said energy flew out of him Galesen found himself on his knees, such a release took a toll on his body when it went out so quickly. But when he regained his footing and his senses Galesen couldn't believe it, almost the whole arena was covered in ice. "Oh is Malik going to be pissed..." What a way to say hello after being gone for so long.

"I can't help it if you take it that way. I mean...really what am I supposed to do aside from not talk to her. She's your sister...that makes her very hard to avoid and all you know."
He couldn't help but give a chuckled lined with a snicker of amusement at her statement even if she didn't intend to mean it as it may first be taken. "Sounds like a good idea to me, if that's what you want to do. I may get boring and whiny though. Can't promise I'll be a joy."
"Um...yes. I need Rawr." Not that he regularly admitted that he still liked to have the hand-me-down dragon with him to others. But Rawr had started as Zykariel's so it was okay to tell him.

Faate rolled her eyes. He didn't understand and wasn't going to. It was times like these that it was just easier to ignore her own feelings about the matter and move on. "You do what you need to do, Mykorian. If you want to talk to her then do so. But remember that she does things intentionally to hurt me." Shaking her head. "Now come on. I need you to come with me back home."
She didn't understand why he was chuckling so much but figured it was some kind of joke or something that she wasn't aware of. "I don't mind boring and whiny, Khai." That'd be better than confrontational and abusive the way her parents were when they needed to be taken care of. "I like taking care of you. You aren't mean to me."
Kariel smiled and bounced the boy. "Yes, you do need Rawr but really Rawr needs you. He doesn't like to be lonely, does he?" Setting the little boy down, he took his hand and started off. They could go fishing later that night and he'd just carry him when he didn't want to walk anymore.

"Silverfeather, what am I going to do with you? Pregnant again and what not." Shaking her head and indeed there was Isleandra with Nillrik clinging to her side standing near the large firplace in the room. "By the way...Gale is...well, freaking out, in your arena."
Which only got a frustrated noise from him but he turned and started out with her none the less. Come on, that wasn't fair. He couldn't control how she felt or her sister. "I'll remember." Just to let her win so they could drop it already. "I don't have to carry anything too heavy do I? I have a gimpy arm and I don't know how much I can carry with just one."
That made him frown as they had started off to his room...which sucked because there were stairs involved. "I'm never mean to you, so you shouldn't expect anything to be any different. Taking care of me or not, which no, no one is forcing you to do anyway."
"No. He complains when he gets left behind and he wanted to come to tournament too. But mama and daddy said he'd just get dirty and be grumpy and have no fun." Skipping, hopping, jumping, walking, and running next to his brother as they wandered across the underdark.
