Vae smiled. "I thought you would." He said and began eating himself. He was going rather slow to enjoy his meal. His eyes staring into hers. "I personally love this. Having company."

Vae's own tail flicked about lazily. "Zeek. You ever feel like your part of a dying breed. Like our kind is disappearing. Not a race just the kind of people we are." He asked with a soft voice.

"I'm fine. I mean people that can be kind to others without a reason." Vae said and continued to eat. "Can't leave and help some one with them thinking I have horrible secondary reason for helping them. Or they think it is some great reason behind what I did."

She leaned forward and softly kissed his lips. "You are a wonderful man, Vae. Anyone would be lucky to have you. You're a caring person, and that is rare now a days."

Vae kissed Zeke back. "I do what I can when I can. Its sad that I'm seen as being evil for being nice." He said with a sigh to himself. "But I will continue to day as I can for others."

It had been a few days since Zeke and Vae's fun night and Zeke was acting a little... odd. Her body had shifted back to that of a snow leopard again, her tail flicking back and forth every now and then as she came down from the room she stared with Vae.

Vae left the kitchen with two bowls of lightly salty potato and Italian sausage soup. "Hey. Zeke. Just in time." He said and went to a table and sat the bowls of soup down with a package of crackers and two spoons. "I made some soup. A family recipe." He smiled at her a toothy happy grin.

"Good, I hope there's a lot. I'm hungry enough to eat a herd of deer." She sat down next to Vae and took a bite of the soup. She started to purr loudly, her tail flicking happily behind her. "Mmmmm, this is wonderful, dear."

Vae smiled at her happy that she liked the soup. "I'll go and get the pot once it's cooled down. I know it's just us but the soup tastes better cooking in a large pot." He said as he reached over and rubbed the side of her face in a gentle caress.

Zeke nuzzled against Vae's hand. "I wont let it go to waste, don't worry. I learned a long time ago to never let anything go to waste." She leaned close and kissed his lips softly.

Vae kissed her back softly enjoying the kiss. "Waste isn't an option for most." He said after breaking away from the kiss. "But enough about that. How about I get us some drinks to go along with dinner and all?" He was very happy to not be alone anymore.
