A great silence fell over the town as everyone was reduced to ash,surprisingly the Martians took this long to do it all. A bright flare flew over Midgar,with all to see it,then creating a horrible crashing sound as it smashed into a small farm no less then 3 1/2 miles outside the city. The creature's in the machines knew that more support has arived,and begin the march towards Midgar city,leaving large foot prints in their wake.

(( *Taps foot* o.O You wanted this fight Maru.. I don't want to have her kill Isabel. Lol. Only thing I could think of to make her come back after last night. *Waits a bit more.*
Also, Scofeild, Try to keep damage to a not devastating destruction.. Don't want the city of the Chocobo farm to be destroyed and all. ))

(( You honestly think that one cylinder filled with five machines would actually do something? Pfft. Need to wait for the other thousand or so more. XD If i was reading you a story,then the ending would be that cloud comes out of the air on a heavenly cloud and cuts all the tripods in one swing of his razor.)
A large crowd of reporters,police ect. had gathered around the cylinder which was glowing a bright red. No one dared go near it for they feared that it might have radiation. "Do not worry," said one officer,"the millitary is coming to haul this meteorite away. If only we could haul those farmers away..." He said with abit of sadness in his voice. The local Chocobos stopped,and began to run away,scared. But from what?
Suddenly,the ground began to shake beneath the feet of everyone there,and one woman cried out. "Up there,beyond the tree line!" And pointed upward,from which everyone saw and gasped. Four of the fighting machines appeared,monsterious tripod,higher then the tallest stepple,striding over the pine trees and smashing them. Each one carried their weapons above their head and just stood motionless for a few seconds,starring at the people that had gathered around the cylinder.
A fifth machine appeared on the far side of the tree line,flurished it's funnel high in the air and the ghostly Heat-ray soon followed,striking the large silo and quickly melting through the steel and instantly destroying the crops that lay inside. As it struck,all five fighting machines exhaulted,immiting deafing howls which roared like thunder.
"Uuulllaaa! Uuulllaaa!"

People began to run away blindly,the police trying to keep the ground calm while they themselfs were stricken with fear: Who are those? What are those? One pulled out his side arm and began to unload on the metal giant. Each round merely bounced off it's hood until he stopped firing and tried to look for another mag'. When he did find it,he say that the Tripod had turned toward him,the strange camera-box like machine begining to buzz and then,whoosh! In a mere instant nothing remained of the police man as each Tripod began to activate it's primary weapon.
They burned people trying to flee,stepped on an elderly couple until the worst possible thing happened. A little boy,to scared to move and clentching his teddy bear tightly,stood directly infront of these monsters. Not screaming,not moving,but silent as death. One of the Tripods noticed this lad and extended a tentacle,picking him up as he heard his parents screaming his name; Michael,Michael!
The Tripod began to examine him and made a low pitched noise,like an owl hooping but backwards. "Tooh,Tooh." And then,nimbly,the Tripod walked toward the remaining parts of the silo and bashed the boy against it,hit entire upper body exploding from the force of the impact and his parents screaming their heads off. As the boy died in this most grusome way,he dropped his blood teddy bear,which soon became lost in the panic.
