Disturbing Tale Teller Lately, i've been working on the Yu Yu Hakusho series, though my Laptop seems to be griping at me, lately... stare I wish I had all the FMA, and Naruto episodes... I do have, though, all the FLCL, .Hack//Sign, and Trigun episodes... I also have PAranoia Agent, but it seems to not like my computer and freaks out when I try watching it... *sigh* Yu Yu Hakusho = first anime I ever saw. Got me hooked XD I'm a little out of the whole anime thing right now; I still like it well enough, but I haven't had time to find (much less watch) anything new that doesn't have either a predictable, rather crappy plot, melodrama, substandard animation or all or the above... Meh. I'll get back into it sooner or later. Probably smarter to stay out of it for the moment so that I don't add yet another distraction to my list XD

I watch anime as much as I cna, which isnt much wiith college and work now sad -sigh- Lately I've been watching lesse.... Last eXile(awesome), CardCaptor Sakura sweatdrop (its so ka-wa-i though-defensive-), bleach, and at my friend house Sergeant Frog!!^_^ I know a bunch of phrases and random words, and I'm learning how to write in japanese, though ti sucks cause I dont know how to type it on my computer>.<(if I could would make it so much easier to learn. I actually think Princess mononoke is my -least- favorite miyazaki film. I muhc mroe prefer howl's moving castle(which is awesome>.

Last Exile didn't grab me really . . . and Bleach was awesome up to a point. Somewhere around episode 65 the anime just lost all interest for me. I don't want to say what killed it for me so it is not ruined for others, but yeah. The last episode I watched was number 70.
Naruto, however, continues to grab my attention even at episode 119. Espically with Sasuke out of the way. Never overly cared for the emo punk.

My Neighbor Totoro is such a fun, cute movie. heart And I saw Grave of the Fireflies ages ago, and I remember thinking it was really good, but I don't remember much about it now. I've seen Spirited Away, Kiki's Delivery Service and Laputa: Castle in the Sky, too. All were pretty good, though I think Spirited Away was better than the other three. Other than that, I haevn't seen any other Miyazaki/Ghibli films. Someday, damnit, I will see Nausicaa. crying

Samurai Champloo kept me with it... I lost Naruto at ep. 125 or so...and the American dubbed version sux!

Grave of the Fireflies is... really sad. Awesome movie, but sad... Totoro's a great movie too, it's probably the first anime I ever watched, and watched, and watched...
I thought Howl's Moving Castle was good too, the book's pretty cool too.
I'm reaaaally far behind in Naruto and Bleach. I generally just read the manga that get released here, but someone gave me Bleach #1-40 or so, and I'm on.. about 30 now xp Still interesting though.

naruto was good up to a bout chapter 200 in the manga, wher ethey do a three-year time jump forward, and it gets....sucky sweatdrop .
I agree with you about sasuke, he's an annoying little twit^-^
I just think he has the -worst- motivation.
Ok, my older brother(who happens to be a psychotic murderer who tries to kill me, kileld my family, and his own best friend), tells me I cna become super-powerful if i kill my best friend(who isn't really my best friend, it's jsut the only person who talks to me-emo tearXD-).

>_> <_< Dude- spoiler?! I don't care, but somebody might. Still, sasuke is one of the most emo charecters I have seen in a while. When he decided to go 'bad', it was no surprise. In fact, it made me smile when he sparred with Naruto on the hospital- thought he made a point with an apparently more powerful move (Chidori), only to discover Naruto's was much better. The exit blast from his Ransengan was just lovely!!! twisted Also, when he and the group went out after him, the maturity he showed in telling Sakura he would bring Sasuke back was wonderful. Showing he still cared for her, but rather than pounce on that he did the right thing and respected her feelings. 3nodding I have no idea how the manga chapters match up to the show, so I don't know all about what happens there. One thing I am glad for is that currently in the show, Naruto is with the new crew. Neji, Kiba, Choji, and Shikimaru. Each is showing much more depth than I had hoped for- and charecter development ist good in anything. Well, anything but Emo.
