pd2care All righty. Ortho appt went well. Very impressed with being in the room by my appt time, and the doc in there 3 min after that.
Here's the scoop. Torn tendons and ligaments, conducive of dislocation, so official Dx is dislocation and tendonitis. 6 weeks physical therapy, then re-eval (MRI) to see how heeling is going to see if surgery will be needed. I have a 50/50 chance of needing surgery at this point.  OUCH! Get better soon!!! heart

I wish. But THAT's not in the cards. Sooner than later is about as good as it gets. When I do something, I do it big. smile But hey, if I have to have surgery, I'll be off work for a while and have PLENTY of time to do the infirmary every day. Give everyone a vacation. I also told my mom she was buying me a plane ticket, and I was coming for a visit if I did. Gonna make her take care of me for a minute or three, in Georgia. If it's logistically something we can plan, meet half way between Atlanta and your place, and have dinner/lunch/something, meet in person for realzies.
