All righty. Ortho appt went well. Very impressed with being in the room by my appt time, and the doc in there 3 min after that.
Here's the scoop. Torn tendons and ligaments, conducive of dislocation, so official Dx is dislocation and tendonitis. 6 weeks physical therapy, then re-eval (MRI) to see how heeling is going to see if surgery will be needed. I have a 50/50 chance of needing surgery at this point.

Thank you. heart The doctor didn't seem hopeful, but we'll see what happens after the PT. I decided that if I have to have surgery, I'm going to go visit my mom in Georgia during my time off. Might as well. I won't have anything else to do around here.
