Doreen Green GLI *peeks over Beast's shoulder* So.....what caused the 'conflicting command lines?' Because....Betty's not the only one strange transformations have been happening to. I'm not certain yet. There's odd things that can be explained away by the virus itself, but there are older "command lines" that don't seem to have any explanation. Despite it's similarities to regular programming, this is something incredibly more intricate and not entirely explainable. There's a certain degree of "winging that mother" involved here. sweatdrop
I appreciate the confidence that both of you are placing in me. It's a mark of respect which I am deeply honored by. *inclines a small bow of the head in their direction*
Now Betty, if you would kindly enter the computer so I can more reliably implement this patch, I think we can start by fixing the strange speech mode you seem to have entered.

Try burning flesh and charred tissue. stare Or perhaps smoldering plastics and carbonized metals in this case; how would one go about burning a thing of light and information anyhow? *pauses from his typing, looks thoughtful, then shakes his head and goes back to the keyboard* Question for another day. Burning love of the less literal kind is called for here, anyways.
*takka tak takka takka TAK takka TAKKA tak tak takka tak*
Right... right, that should about do it for the first set of patches. You should be able to operate outside a computer system for much longer, your voice should be more normal, you should be capable of tangibility without shocking people, aaaand... *takka tak takka* -you should be able to consume a few organic materials for energy.
Apply changes?
*presses enter!*
Loading... loading..... loading... complete!
Magnificent! 3nodding Alright, go ahead and come out now, Betty, that should have solved a great many problems that the virus itself was causing.
