its fun...I'll give it that...but a pain in the arse at times...still, it just adds to the experience.

Hm... I was generally driven off by the prices. Since I basically just want to try it out, I don't wanna spend $20-$40 on the books on monsters, rules, DM rules, etc. Then again, I think one of my friends has them, so I could play with him. I just don't see him very often.

I play D&D all the time, so if you ever want to ask anything about it you can ask me. I won't speak for any of my fellow geeks though XD
Maybe if people are interested we could do a "by the book" campaign around here, I dunno.

I've never played a tabletop game, though my sister does it on a regular basis. School took up all my time, so I never got into it. I've even stopped watching anime since going to college. sweatdrop Ah well. It's been replaced by music, so I think I can accept that. :3

I would gladly rejoin a tabletop game- if I could find one. The players near me are undependable at best. Also, the owner of the local comic store/game place has long since been taken away, so there is no real easy place for us all to meet. sad

*stumbles in and falls over onto a couch, falling asleep instantly*
Guild updates, packing, moving, cleaning, working, thinking, multi-tasking, yawning, big-gaping window with no curtains to haunt me while I sleep, echo-ey empty bedroom.... whee

I'd offer under normal circumstances but a full D&D game on here might even require it's own sub forum. And I haven't got a story prepared. lol. Spontaneity can be fun sometimes but I think that forums might run a little too slowly for that. And the dice rolling function in itself via Gaia would like, redefine tedious. And it would be difficult to avoid roll-playing. And it would likely be a doomed attempt from the start. >.>;;
And other stuff too

. . . part of the reason I did not finish my idea of ressurecting my RP, based off the BESM system to involve the Dice system. emo

Well, the dice on Gaia, seemed good when I first heard about it, but actually using it in an RP seems like it would get annoying.
