Kenji fell on his butt when Toiyu ran off, he got up and got wide eyed, if there was one, there was more, he ran back home to warn his mom. Mostly cause Sani slept anywhere except home at this time.
Venessa clutched her stuffed animal close scared, she clenched the back of Toiyu's shirt to hide. "Toiyu-kun I'm scared!" One of the people who patroled with the leader came up behind to grab her, darkness swirling to make a wall between them.

Matsuda looked at Kenji, she was out on her but because of Toiyu.
"Kenji, what's happening...?"
Toiyu growled and destroyed the wall, turning it in to a blade and kicked the guy away from Venessa, pulling her in close so no one could get her from behind again. He put the blade up, hugging Venessa close.
"Don't you dare come any closer, I'm warning you.." His eyes turned from green to red. "Stay, Back." His silvery wings unfurled, he had devolped his wings early. He was supposed to be in the light, so his wings would always be lightly colored.
The leader took a step forward.
"Come on Toiyu, she's in the light, just give her up.. it's against the law."

Kenji panted a bit out of breath. "Darkness patrol! Where auntie and dada?" he looked around worried.
Venessa clenched toiyu's shirt tightly, scared beyond belief. She looked at them with big scqred orange eyes. "I-I'm scared toiyu..." she buried her face in his chest to not look at them.
The guy fell back and growled before getting up. "Lets just arrest them both..." he looked at the leader.

Matsuda's eyes got wide.
"Sani's still sleeping, Rico's doing work on the chair next to him, Hayu's with Kato in one of the rooms."
Toiyu lookde down at her.
"Don't worry, I won't let them hurt you." He looked up at them all. "You guys are disgusting, certain people shouldn't be destroyed and broken because their innocent. You wont get her today or ev er, in fact, today you aren't even going home." He closed his eyes and with a gentle stirring of the wind all the men were disintigrated.

Kenji flopped down. "Good...toiyu is with venessa i think..."
Venessa held back tears but not for long before she started to cry into his shirt. "I-im sorry toiyu...im sorry for crying! I-I feel safe in your arms but im still scared!" She didnt even watch the guards be destroyed.

Toiyu held her close.
"I'm so sorry for being mean Venessa, I guess I'm jealous... because I can't cry. It's not possible for me, even when I feel like my heart is breaking." He let out a long breath, biting his lip. "Come on, let's get you back home. Matsuda-san could give you something for your nerves." He let go of her but kept a hand on her upper back to lead her back home.

Venessa grabbed his hand and held it tightly. "Toiyu...I like you a lot...your always so strong and calm...i wanna be just like you!" she hugged him tightly, not caring i she left her stuffed lion behind.

Toiyu looked at her, shocked. After how mean he had been, she liked him? He suddenly hugged her tight, closing his eyes tight as well. He let his walls down, let him self be vulnerable for the first time since his friend had died.
"If there really is a god, please let me keep her.. please let me keep one person...."

Venessa whiped at her eyes and kept her tight hug on him. "My friend said you might like me too...do you really think im cute?" she looked up at him and sniffled, she wanted to be with people and get attention, she wanted the most attention from toiyu so even if he was mean it ment he didnt ignore her.

Toiyu blinked a bit at her and looked away, a blush raising to his face.
"M-Maybe..." "Geh! So embarassing..." He tried to get his blush down, he wasn't really the romatic type, he never really went after girls.

Venessa blushed like him and fumbled to let go and take him hand to pull him along. "I think your very handsom toiyu! Maybe one day you'll like a pretty girl...i know you dont like girls very much..." she sounded a bit sad he said maybe.

Toiyu followed, trying to fumble for the right words but he eventually just gave, looking at the ground. He blush was gone now, as fast as it had shown up. He felt so stupid, he did like Venessa, he really didn't want to admit it, he never wanted to get close to anybody. He didn't want to care about people so that he didn't cry like he did today, so that he didn't have to go against the people he swore to protect like he did today... so he stayed quiet and let Venessa drag him.

Venessa couldn't think of the right words either, she really liked him but was scared cause they were polar opposites. She opened the front door and dragged him inside before letting go and being picked up by Sani.
Sani sighed, hugging her close. "Damn you were gone long, what have I said about going past the pond? It's dangerous because your pure light..." He stroked her hair. Venessa snuggled close to him and sniffled, looking at Toiyu. "Toiyu-kun...I forgot my stuffed lion..." She didn't want to cry but she felt like it.

Toiyu grumbled a bit.
"I'll go get it.." He ditched out of the house, making it quickly through the forest. He stepped over the ring of ashes and stoped and picked up the lion that was completely clean. He looked at it, sighing, then walked away back to the house and gave it to venessa. "Here you go."

Venessa was set down and took her stuffed lion, hugging Toiyu and kissing his cheek, her way of saying thank you. "Night Toiyu-kun!" She giggled and ran off to her room.
Kenji laughed from the kitchen. "Awww how cute..."
Sani rolled his eyes, kids these days! "Get to bed guys..." He walked off to go snuggle with Matsuda.
