"Awesome. Let's tell these guys to bugger off and we can go." Van said, trying not to sound too eager lest he sound like a jerk.

"Excuse me," The Recorder said to Riley, "but I'd like you to talk to your sister for me."

((JOY.))
"It's mostly interesting," the Libarian said after a moment. "As long as you remember not to blink and not to cause any paradoxes, there's never a dull moment."

"What happens when you blink?" Mala asked, curious now. She glanced back at the ring once more, giving Van a look that promised she'd take care of this as soon as she could. Mala didn't want to seem like a complete jerk either, which was why she hadn't told them to scoot just yet.

The Librarian made a small noise. "Um, you don't have to worry about it at all." The thought of the Weeping Angels made her shiver. One touched her, once. She got sent back three hundred years on Earth and had to live through the seventeenth century, and then another Time Lady came through and helped her. "Anyways, I really should get back to my TARDIS. I need to move all my books to this." She patted her bag. "Maybe we could meet up again, sometime when I get the Recorder home?" Then her eyes were sad. "Not that there's much home nowadays."

"Eeeer...okaaaay." Mala said, now rather confused at the mention of this...TARDIS or whatever. "I should be going as well. As I said earlier, you should talk to my brother and get him if I'm needed." With that, she began examining her necklace once more and uttered the word she needed to head to her little home. Now, at least, she should be able to try and crack the barrier in peace.

"What about?" Riley asked, now eagerly awaiting the departure of these strangers.
"Oh yeah, we definitely need to save up some money get this place furnished. It's rather...depressing like this..." Van said catching a few small glimpses of their empty home away from home.

"Definately. Maybe we can collect a few trophies on our travels and help use those to deccorate the place as well." Mala said, smiling brightly at the thought. Certainly, it would be much easier and cheaper to find trophies from their adventures and maybe even use some as a sort of furniture(sp?). "Most magical objects are either jewelry or furniture anyway...or seeing as how useless many magical staves are, they might as well be."

"Admittedly, I thought having an inter-dimensional house was a silly idea, but I think I kinda like it. You know, once it gets furnished." Van said. "I mean, it's actually peaceful in comparison to assorted wildlife noises and what not."

Mala nodded in agreement, smiling to herself as she headed towards their room. It was quite spacious inside, which was something Mala was oddly greatful for. She shut the door behind her and sat against the back wall in the corner. "Very much so. Plus, we'll always have a decent place to hide away when we need it. That sort of luxury is hard to come by these days." she said, chuckling softly to herself. "Since we're in an alternate-dimensional home as well, tracking magic shouldn't work on us while we're here either."

((I keep on picturing their house as just a house floating in some swirling vortex between space and time. XD))
"Not that we've had a problem with tracking magic before." Van said. Most people that would want to track them were swiftly beaten and convinced otherwise before they made the decision to do so. "So what are you going to do? Search for eternal life first, or try to find the gods' power source?"

{Lol, so I wasn't the only one! XD I'm also imagining purple cloudy swirls as the background for some odd reason. O.o}
"I'm not sure. Which do you think would most likely be easier to accomplish in my lifetime?" Mala asked, wanting Van's imput on the situation. "If I gain immortal life first, I'd have more time to assist the gods - but by the time I've figured everything out they all might've died or become no better than a regular mortal. If I help out the gods first, it might take many years - eventually leaving me as an old woman and too old and brittle to actually enjoy eternal life."
{Ain't she a peach? XD ((LOL, I love it when I make Mala all pessimistic like this)) }

"In that case, I'd suggest going after immortality first. We can't have you turning into a wrinkled old prune now can we?" Van said with a smile. "Last thing we need is you worrying about your looks."((*shakes fist at school system that demands my attention* ))
