lol this game is a good way to relieve stress though >.> unless you play an insane song and expect to do good.

Well, my husband and I are kind of hopeing that the local Gamestop is going to have a buy 2 get 1 sale. Otherwise we limit ourselves.

Our new years resolution is to try not to buy sucky games just because they are cheaper and to save up for a few good ones that we will play and enjoy.

Panda~ Did you send it in? I was surprised at how fast ours came back when it died.

Lol, I think all games are like that.

There's "So easy it's boring"; "Fun"; "Challening but even more fun"; "Not fun."; and "Only people with no lives would enjoy playing this"
Resident Evil 5 on Vetren was "Challenging but even more fun"; but Professional mode jumped right up to "Only people with no lives would enjoy this".
It was so bad that even with the infanite ammo and packing the biggest and baddest guns in the game it was hard as hell. Then I broke out the infanite rocket launcher and almost everything was a moot point.

OMG Dragon Age! Getting it for Christmas - the Collectors' Edition! blaugh (just because I... like collecting things?)

Tbh I'm more excited about Tree of Tranquility. sweatdrop *time management freak*

Edit: I just realised that that is completely ironic, because I have no idea how to manage my own time!

@Panda: It could be worth a try to call customer service if your brother never registered it...my sister never registered hers and the rings of death hit after their warranty would have been expired, but they when they called the customer service line they were able to still get it fixed for free.

Oh you people and your flimy X-Boxs and 360s.

I personally went with a Playstation 3, and while at the time of buying the only good games avalible that also wasn't on the 360 was Metal Gear Solid 4(which I got with my console) was Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. And all my friends laughed at me.
In less then a year most of their 360s either RRoD or mearly died and they realized that the PS3, while with a smaller game library when it comes to exclusives, are WAY better haha.

And I only broke out the rocket launcher because I got despirt and I wanted to beat the bloody game and get that War Hero and the Platuim Trophy. I actually got up to the last part of chaper 5 when you have to fight off Wesker and his "partner" for 7 or less minutes.
That took forever cause Sheva kept dieing on me.

Mmm, I don't have an XBox... or a 360. I didn't even want a PS3 out of a sense of moral outrage at the date being pushed back even further in Europe since we aren't important enough to the market, but my mum got me one anyway. sweatdrop She knows me better than I know myself.

My bf keeps telling me to get MGS4, but I dunno. I havent played any of the other games, and they're just like... shooters, right? I've never been much on shooters. Or tactical warfare. Noo, I'm much more of an airy-fairy rpg slash sims slash fantasy kind of person.

Now if only someone could make a game where you raise a family of unicorns from birth to death and have them develop a successful tailoring company whilst attempting to save the world from some uncalculable evil, I'd be so in my comfort zone I could play it while asleep. XD

well they may be flimsy, but they are normally easily replaced for free, so it's fine. That and I still have games that are exclusively 360 and I love.

Dart~ *hangs head in shame* I know...we now have a sony tv that has been whispering evil whispers to us...it wants a PS3... ok I actually really want to get a PS3. Infamous looks so fun and now that we have a tv that can do justice to great graphics we are noticing a huge difference between things. Price drop doesn't hurt either..

Lorika~ So excited for Dragon Age! Getting it for my b-day this weekend! Love your idea for a game though....usually into that Fantasy sifi rpg stuff myself...
*runs out to look for a family of unicorns*

MGS4 probably isn't for you then. I hadn't played any of the other games either, but they did so well in wrapping up any and everything the series came up with I didn't need to. Heck, I think I learned everything there was to know about the previous game through 4 alone.
And the game you describe sounds.... really really creepy to me for some reason. And this is a guy who method of killing the Grim Reaper enemies in Brutal Legend is to open fire and ram them at the same time with the car cause I don't want to get close to them. Other then the fact trying to fight them any other way WILL get you killed.
