~Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi laughed a little when Sora whined about her idea for a formal birthday dinner just so she could see him in a suit again. He gave in though, but not before saying she had to her dress and heels. The Princess was perfectly fine with the dress, but not the heels, so she guess that made them even. If he had to wear the suit then she'd wear the heels. Fair was fair.
After the crimsonette had twirled around, unable to contain her excitement, and came back to Sora, she blushed as he chuckled and said she wasn't the only one liking her dress. She smiled though as he wrapped his arm around her again. When his girlfriend agreed with Quest about heels, the brunette showed off his dress shoes and laughed that he was lucky not having to wear heels. Kairi looked down at his shiny black shoes and sighed, "Yeah, guys are lucky in that department." As the Princess waited to hear what Quest had to say about the gym, the Keyblade Master suggested they could go inside to see it if she wanted. They could go in or stay here, whatever she wanted. Kairi was tempted, but Quest had just gone outside she figured the other red head would want to stay out for a little longer. She grinned to Sora and said, "We can go inside in soon. But for now let's just hang around here for a little while. It's not as crowded and there's lots of fresh air."We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

¤ Qυєѕτ ¤ Hυиτєя ¤ All our memories are never forgotten..... They are only locked behind a door....Quest smiled. "Well, most of the gym equipment have been cleared out to make space for the dance floor and refreshment tables. They've made an effort of adding more twinkle lights to the walls too." She grinned slightly at that imagery. "We should stay outside." She agreed. "That way we'll see the others when they arrive instead of running around the gym looking for eachother." At this she laughed. She hadn't laughed for so long....It felt nice. And when we find a key to that door.... We will remember.....

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx My first real date, my first real dance... Sora laughed as Kairi replied to his comment about high-heels and how he didn’t have to wear them. She called him lucky, although he wasn’t completely sure that was true. ”Well, you girls don’t have to wear these things,” he remarked, pulling on his tie to show her. ”Sure, you have to wear them at school like we do, but formal ties are all… ugh.” He shook his head disapprovingly and dropped the tie. He gave a quick smile to his girlfriend before she answered his question about staying out here or going inside. She said that they could go inside soon, but they could stay out here for a little while longer. She was right that it was much less crowded and the evening air was nice a fresh. Quest first explained to Kairi about the gym’s appearance for the dance before agreeing with her about staying outside. The brunette shrugged. ”I guess you’re right,” he said. ”It would be a headache trying to find everyone in there, although not too many people I know have silver or red hair.” He chuckled, having of course referenced Riku and Axel. If they could find those two, then there was no doubt they would find their dates, Naminé and Lakayna.
Sora gave another look around the outside of the school, hoping to spot some of his friends. He still hadn’t heard from Roxas, so he was still a little worried. But that problem was really in the back of his mind, since he didn’t want that to mess up his first real date with Kairi. He’d thought about asking Quest and the crimsonette about it, but decided against it since it would ruin the moment. So he continued to scan the incoming crowds, trying to find interesting suits or dresses that he could point out to the two girls. Everything was pretty much normal, since most guys were wearing regular suits like himself and most of the girls were wearing dresses that could be bought at one of the few stores on the Destiny Islands. There were a couple unique ones that were probably made by the owners, but those weren’t what caught his eye. Instead, there was one person wearing an -- ahem -- unique over by the wall of the school. It looked more like some sort of armor rather than a suit. He nudged Kairi slightly with his arm. ”Check that suit out,” he commented, smirking. It was kinda cool. He wished a little that he’d come up with something like that, just in case something did happen tonight. But at the same time, he didn’t want to stick out like a sore thumb like this guy did, so he found it kind of funny someone would be brave enough to wear that to a formal dance. ((*laughs* No offense, Blaise. Love the "suit"! ^^ By the way, Otaku, I never got to say it, but I love how your avi changed to match Kairi!))Nothing could ruin this moment... right?

~Thinking of you, wherever you are. When Kairi said that guys were lucky for not having to wear high heels, Sora replied that girls were lucky for not having to wear formal ties. As the brunette pulled on his tie and shook his head disapprovingly the crimsonette laughed, "Hmm I guess you're right! Looks like both genders have outfit pros and cons."
The Princess then grinned as Quest described the gym, saying most of the gym equipment had been cleared out to make space for the dance floor and refreshment tables and that they made an effort by adding more twinkling lights to the walls as well. "Sounds nice," the red head smiled. As Kairi had thought, Quest agreed with her in saying that they should stay outside. The other red head said that that way they could see the others when they arrived. Sora shrugged in agreement, but commented that it probably wouldn't be hard to find Axel or Riku in the the gym. Kairi laughed, knowing that was probably true.
The Keyblade Master then went to looking around at all the people strolling into the gym, so the Princess decided to do the same. It was so funny yet cool to see all her normally uniformed classmates looking all snazzy in suits and dresses. Kairi felt Sora nudge her slightly with his arm, and she turned to see him smirking at a boy wearing a unique outfit. "Wow," the crimsonette stated amused, "That's something else. Kinda cool though, if you don't mind standing out a little."
((Lol it is cool! ^^ Oh thank you Sora! ^.^ Hee hee I wasn't sure if anyone would notice X3))We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

Blaise. I get to go to a dance, so nothing can go wrong. The only way to be sure about tonight, is to experience it firsthand.Blaise looked to Xia. He felt a slight breeze, and his hair was drifting with it. "Xia, maybe we should wait near the school. For all we know, Sky might be there." he smiled. He turned around, and looked at the school. He laughed, when he felt his hair rush to catch the wind. He saw the group in the front of the school. He thought they saw him looking, so he escorted Xia over. "Don't worry Xia, nothing will happen. I promise." He continued to the group in front of the school. His suit would flow with the slight breeze.
Blaise walked closer to the group and saw a brunette, crimsonette, and a girl he was sure he'd seen before. Blaise stopped in front of the group. He remembered seeing these faces around, but he couldn't remember. He waited for Xia to catch up, because he felt he left her straggling behind by accident. He decided to be friendly, because Xia was around him. "Hi, I'm Blaise." he said. He put out his hand for the brunette to shake. ((None taken, and thanks. ^_^)) Besides, it's a tme to relax, and a chance to get together with my friends...

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx My first real date, my first real dance... Sora had given a short nod when Kairi admitted there were pros and cons to being both a boy and a girl. He would never know what it was like to be a girl, so he couldn’t say it was any better or any worse than being a guy like himself. Kairi had then replied to Quest, saying how nice the gym must have looked. He thought it would look nice as well, but wasn’t too eager to go inside. He was still iffy about having to dance, but was getting a little more comfortable every time he heard Kairi say that even if they didn’t dance, they’d have fun. Finally, she responded to his comment about the guy wearing the strange suit, saying that it was kinda cool as long as you didn’t mind standing out. He nodded his head in agreement. ”Gotta have a lot of guts to wear that here, I bet,” he replied. Quest said that she thought she knew him, saying he was a friend of one of her friends. Small world.
Speak of the devil. Ironically, as they’d finished up their conversation about the boy with the suit, he came over to them with who Sora supposed to be his date. He wondered if he’d noticed them talking about him, and was a little uneasy. He hoped he didn’t think they were making fun of him or anything, because they hadn’t been. Really, they kind of had been complimenting the guy. He was lucky, though, because the guy just came over to be friendly and told them his name was Blaise, offering a hand to shake. The brunette grinned and used his free arm to shake hands. ”Hi, I’m Sora,” he greeted brightly. ”This is my, er, girlfriend, Kairi.” He’d hesitated a little bit, just because it was still weird for him to call Kairi his girlfriend. He rarely said it out loud, so when he did, it felt strange. He liked to say it, though. He met eyes with the girl with Blaise, something about her striking him as off. He pushed it away, though, looking back to the other boy and waited for Quest to finish asking her question. ”Who’s your date?” he asked, thinking that since the two were together, they’d come as a couple. Nothing could ruin this moment... right?

Blaise. I get to go to a dance, so nothing can go wrong. The only way to be sure about tonight, is to experience it firsthand.Blaise looked to Sora. He had heard him ask about Xia. "Oh, this is Xia. She's one of the two people I've come here with." The last part of the sentence seemed awkward to say. Surely, that might be taken out of context. Although Xia knew about it. Besides, all three had agreed to come as friends. Of course, he had come to realize that Xia was more of a person than a Nobody can get to experience. Granted, she was gaining a heart, so that must have made her a person in theory. He had also heard that his girlfriend was Kairi. Could it be that this was the same Kairi that Sky had talked about? He didn't want to impose, so he let that part go.
He turned to the one who he saw Sky with. He had heard of her from Sky. "Yeah, I am Skyler's friend." She had asked if he had seen Sky around. "Unfortunately no, the last I saw of her, she was with me and Xia when we went to the beach. I even asked Xia, but there was no luck." he answered these all truthfully, and politely. "Although, she might be here soon. I have a feeling that she will." He started to wonder about Sky, and if she was coming. He felt himself warm up, so he didn't want to be seen blushing. "Yeah, she's going to be here soon." He held his charm closer, as if he were reassuring himself.Besides, it's a tme to relax, and a chance to get together with my friends...

¤ Qυєѕτ ¤ Hυиτєя ¤ All our memories are never forgotten..... They are only locked behind a door....Even as Quest waited patiently for her answer, she noticed that the girl next to him was familiar. Not like, a familiar face, but rather, familiar aura. Like someone she had known. Like Tesqux......A Nobody? She nodded, a bit sad that Skyler wasn't here yet. It would've been nice to have known another person here.... "Thanks." She said to Blaise before turning her attention at the gates to the school, wondering where everyone else was at. The memory of what happened to her when she came out of Namine's house was still nagging at the back of her mind. She hoped everyone would arrive safely.... And when we find a key to that door.... We will remember.....

~Thinking of you, wherever you are. Sora nodded in agreement about the guy in the suit, saying it took guts to wear that here. "Yeah," Kairi nodded. When Quest saw the boy they were talking about she said he was a friend of her friend's. That didn't surprise Kairi too much since this wasn't a big island.
To the crimsonette's surprise, the boy they had been talking about suddenly walked up to them, accompanied by a girl. He greeted them, saying his name was Blaise, and shook Sora's hand. The brunette then introduced himself and Kairi. The Princess beamed as she heard Sora introduce her as his girlfriend, and she happily waved, "It's very nice to meet you Blaise." The Keybearer then asked who his date was, and Blaise introduced her as Xia. "It's nice to meet you as well Xia," the red head grinned to the girl. Quest asked if he was friends with Skyler and if he had seen her around. "Oh, you guys know Skyler too?" Kairi asked with a smile. She didn't know the bluenette very well, but they had met a couple times and the girl told her she could call her Sky which Kairi took as a friendly measure. We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx My first real date, my first real dance... Sora raised his eyebrows as Blaise said that the girl, Xia, was one of the two girls he’d come with. So he had two dates? What a player. Maybe they’d just come as friends. Though this was an awfully formal dance… It didn’t matter. He knew that if he and Kairi hadn’t been dating, then they would have come as friends anyway. So it wasn’t right of him to assume that Blaise and Xia were dating, or that the other girl that was coming -- obviously Skyler was her name as Quest and Blaise had both mentioned her -- was dating him either. He looked over at Quest for a moment to see that for just a second she had had a puzzled expression on her face. He’d followed her gaze to Xia. So she felt something strange about her too? The thing that bugged him was that Xia’s name had an “X” in it, if he was thinking it was spelled the way it was. Generally “X”’s equaled Nobodies, which, in more cases than not, usually meant trouble. He couldn’t assume this either, since Roxas and Naminé weren’t bad, not to mention Naminé didn’t even have an “X” in her name.
Still, due to the strange things that had happened today, Sora decided to keep an eye on Xia just to make sure she wasn’t the source of any trouble. After all, he’d pretty much forgotten about all the trouble that had happened today until he was reminded by the slightly dark aura the girl held. He hadn’t realized how long he’d been staring at Xia until he finished his thoughts by deciding to let her be unless trouble came up, at which time he looked away. He looked at Kairi, wondering if she felt it too. They couldn’t talk about it openly here, so they wouldn’t arise suspicions. Of course, he didn’t want to talk about it now, anyway, since they were supposed to be enjoying themselves and having fun. So he tuned into Quest and Blaise’s conversation. They were still talking about Skyler, who had yet to show up. That was when Sora remembered something. ”Hey, was Skyler that girl that tried to help us with Riku?” he asked, turning to Quest. Earlier that day, a girl had come up and tried to take Riku to the nurse with Quest before Naminé, himself, and the others had stopped them. Was that the same girl? Not that it mattered, but it would be nice to put a face with a name. Plus, he felt a little out of the loop, especially with Kairi saying she knew the girl as well, so he wanted to learn more. Nothing could ruin this moment... right?

Xia Xia looked at her feet. The message was clear- Nobodies weren't trusted. "Hi," She whispered to the kind, crimsonette. She could tell, the were getting the wrong idea about positively everything. She almost wanted to shout the truth, even if it got her hurt. She had some heart- did that count? Would they kill her anyway?
Could she die?
She pushed those thoughts out of her mind. Don't worry, this will all be okay. It's your first dance, have fun! She forced a smile and looked at everyone. When's Sky gonna get here? This One Night, That's All I Ask

~Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi noticed Sora and Quest looking curiously at Xia. When the Keyblade Master then looked at her, the Princess guessed he felt what she felt. Xia's aura felt like that of a Nobody's. Usually Nobodies meant trouble, but the vibe Kairi was getting from the girl was more like that of Naminé or Roxas, a good Nobody. So the crimsonette wasn't too worried, though with everything that happened today one couldn't be too careful. Still Kairi wasn't going to judge the girl before getting to know her, so she continued to smile at Xia as the other girl said hi to her.
At the mention of Skyler, Sora asked Quest if she had been the girl who had helped them with Riku earlier. Quest replied yes, and Kairi remembered that she had indeed seen Sky as she and Naminé had entered the scene. Sky had left after Naminé had taken Riku from her. Quest also stated that Skyler had helped her get to her class and wanted to thank her, and Blaise said she'd be here soon. Kairi looked around at the little group, realizing just how many new faces were showing up on the Islands. She was happy though, making all these new friends. This school year was much less lonely than last year. Kairi looked around again to see if any of their other friends had arrived and something occurred, and she wondered why she hadn't thought of it before. She turned to her boyfriend and asked, "Hey Sora, where's Ari? Shouldn't she be here by now?" Surely the brunette had seen his little sister before he had left their house to go pick the Princess up.We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx My first real date, my first real dance... Sora nodded when Quest explained that he was right in thinking that Skyler was the girl that had tried to help Riku. That had been awful nice of her, since she probably didn’t even know who Riku was. And it sounded like she had helped Quest try to find her classroom, so she was just an all-around nice person, by the sound of it. That was good. ”That’s what I thought,” he replied, nodding his head to thank her. However, after his question about Skyler had been answered, the two exchanged a look that suggested that they were both thinking the exact same thing about Xia being a Nobody. How Quest knew so much he wouldn’t know probably for a while, but it was nice to know someone was on the same page as him. However, just because Xia was a Nobody didn’t mean that she was bad, so they couldn’t make assumptions. Still, it was an odd coincidence for such strange things to be happening at Destiny High the same day a new Nobody arrived.
Xia spoke up then, giving a quiet “hi” to the group. She looked really nervous. Sora felt a little guilty for a moment. She probably was on to the fact that they thought she was a Nobody, and if she was, that could mean trouble for her. He couldn’t be sure, of course, but he still felt bad for making her feel threatened. So he decided that he would just treat her as a normal person unless something weird involving her happened that gave him reason to believe she was the cause of what had happened earlier that day. Kairi then looked up at him and asked about his sister. He looked away for a moment, trying to remember when he’d seen Ari last. She had been getting ready for the dance as well… ”I dunno, to be honest,” he answered. ”She was getting ready when I was. I think she might have said something about going to the dance with Blink. Come to think of it, I haven’t seen him either, so maybe that’s why.” That seemed like the only logical solution. Regardless, his sister would probably be there soon, as well as the rest of their friends. ((Kind of a crap post, sorry.))Nothing could ruin this moment... right?
