Aquaria sat back, finished when the man was dead. She stood. "Garin, he hurt me," she said. The arrow stung a little, and she guessed it was holy, though her magic countered it.

"Some of us," Aquaria said. "The priests and priestesses, mainly. I was supposed to become a priestess when I turned eighteen, but that won't happen. Others do, as well, but it isn't as common as it used to be."
