Melanie climbed down the fire escape and entered the building. She walked to Amnity's room. She knocked on the door and hoped that Amnity would answer. I hope I'm not interrupting her breakfast.

Zahzi arose from the couch like the dead from the grave.
He got up from the couch, and began to stumble around, mumbling something about his hatred of mornings...
When he stumbled into the kitchen, he nodded to Amnity, before looking at the digital clock he had sent a current into. He grabbed onto it, and suddenly jolted up, absorbing the energy he placed into it.
"Ahh...Much better..."

"Breakfast is on the table." Amnity said with a smile. Vosa barked, then ran to the door when he heard someone knock. The soldier looked confused, then walked to the door and opened it. She was shocked it see that it was actually Melanie. Amnity was bothed relieved, yet sad that she was there. Quickly, she looked down at the ground, not making eye contact with her. "...You shouldn't be here." She said in almost a whisper.

"Well too bad." Melanie whispered to Amnity. She looked in her bag and took out the envelope. She also took out the bone she bought for Vosa. "Here." She handed Amnity the envelope. "And here." She gave her the bone. "That's for your dog. Hope he or she likes it." Melanie said smiling.

Zahzi sat down in the kitchen.
He looked over at a mirror, and watched Amnity talk with Melanie.
He didn't say anything, and he saw this as Amnity's first step in her lesson today.
Let's see how she does... he thought to himself.

Amnity was taken back by Melanie's persistance. She knew long before she came to her door that morning that she wasn't a mercinary, but she had thought that after the incodent that happened yesterday she wouldn't come to her anymore. "Melanie, I-" She was cut off when the girl started shoving the presents into her arms. The soldier honestly didn't know what to say for a second. Shock and confusion ran around in her head until she got the words to speak again. A few simple words. "...Why?...After what I said..."

Amnity opened her mouth to say something....But nothing came to mind. She looked at the floor, a bit ashamed that she assumed so much of her and pushed her away. "Thank you..." She began,still not looking her in the eyes. "And....I'm sorry....For yesterday...."

"It's ok." A big smile spead across her face. She whispered to Amnity, "You don't need to act ashamed. Keep your head up high. Or else you might embarrass yourself in front of your boyfriend." She laughed quietly.

Amnity looked at her, honestly confused for a second. "Boyfriend?" She asked. The soldier looked over at Zahzi, then looked back at Melanie with a small smile on her face. "Oh, right, yeah." Her smile brightened significantly, looking down at the things Melanie gave her. "Thank you....So much..."

"You don't need to thank me so much. Why don't you tell me the name of your dog. He's sure to like that bone that you're keeping from him." Melanie smirked, looked at Vosa and said to Amnity, "Nice choice. He kind of suits you."

Amnity smiled, setting the bone down beside Vosa. The huge doberman carried the bone off between his large teeth and began chewing on it. "You're right, he loves it. Thanks again."

"What's his name? He obviously adores you. Do you mine if I pet him? Or will he try to rip off my hand?" Melanie laughed and smiled. "Well, I have nothing else to do now..." She looked at her apartment from the door. "Nice place you have here."

Right now, Melenie couldn't see Dro'ki levitating while he was meditating. Amnity quickly picked up a pillow and threw it at him so he'd loose his concentration and fall back to the ground. "You can come in if you want. And sure you can pet him. His name is Vosa, he won't bite." Vosa stopped chewing on his bone for a second to see who the newcommer was. He got up and started smelling her shoes to get her scent.
