Billy was shaking with rage, his face red and mouth pulled back in a vicious sneer, "Don' ye be pretendin' t'know ANYTHING abou' me, Pig," He snapped, his voice low and venimous.

Bobby leaned back with a smirk. Oh, how she knew that look so well. She imagined it was the same look she herself wore. The pig in her held back her own anger, too lazy to bring it forth until necessary.

When he called her 'pig', the woman couldn't help but think is the movie Babe... instead, she suppressed her laughter of the thought: Babe was a cute little piggy!

"Who said I was pretending? Do you honestly think your story is the first I've seen or even heard? Please, you insult me."

"So yer jes' righ', end o' story?" He spat, drawing in a few deep breaths to try to calm himself. Bide his time an he'd get her when the security cameras weren't watching. Cut himself up a side of ham. Make lunchmeat out of her. "Typical American snobbery." That growled, he turned to start to storm away from her. Don't let her get to you. She's trapped here the same as you.

Bobby shrugged, well, women were always right. It was a biologically known fact... and besides, the pig serum just enhanced that part of her, it didn't take it away.

Picking at her bottom teeth with a long, flat black nail, the woman only gave Billy half of her attention when she snorted quietly before she countered, "Typical Irish ignorance!"

Billy didn't even turn around, simply quickening his pace to leave the woman behind befor he was tempted to stab her. He supposed those feelings did not help matters when he was trying to explain any death of any partner was an accident. If Billy had a gun now.... he shook his head. Too many people and not enough bullets.

Bobby watched Billy stride away. She wasn't really concerned. Even ina body made of fat, the woman still knew at least how to take care of herself... Besides, she'll see him again; and who knows what will happen next time!

The woman, having gotten her fill of the sun, walked back to her duplex and grabbed random food from her sack to eat on the way.

Her gait was some what unusual since she had become more cheetah, that tip toed walk which should have been exceedingly graceful whens eh padded along, was, but it had a sweet little bounce to it. The ever jovial Colche padded towards the beach in her usual gear, nothing at all, why should she wear clothes after all? It was MUCH too hot for clothes and her fur vocered pretty much everything any way. She couldn't help but think of Greer as she padded along, it just seemed so illogical to the cheetah girl to wear clothes when everything was covered. of course, the fact that clothes had always come with the button 'optional' on her brain didn't help matters.

As was her habbit of late the girl sang to herself as she walked on silent, velveteen paws towards the bach. "Under the sea, under the sea, darlin' is betta down, wur is wetta .." it seemed the best sort of song to be singing right now, after all she was going to the beach and the sea. her tail tip twitched from side to side as her toes finally touched the white moving sands, the grains sinking between her toes and mingling with the thick fur. She smiled, a slight sigh escaping her, the beach was so much more fun if somone else was there too. Turning her blue eyedgaze up, and downt he bech she searched for a companion even if it was somone she didn't know, she liked to meet new people and if they were dangerous, well, seh ahd claws,s he could run, she could run faster than anyone, which was a fact she was very proud of.

She stood to her full height, knees cracking and joints popping as she did. Emelyn placed both her newly gotten root and her digging stick into her basket- the sharpened branch sticking up like a tongue from the lopsided weave of her food-carrier. It was nearly full, which brought a sort of satisfaction and joy to Emelyn- those days when she'd depleted her stores, starving herself for fear and exhaustion were ones she longed to forget- and wished for their memory to heal over and scar like those marks on her back. It was spring- though, surely, the island boasted no more than two seasons and spring had long since graced its shores- for in Emelyn's mind, she was determined to start anew.

She saw Colche right away as she broached the divide between the darkness of the jungle and the bright, warm sands of the beach. It had been so long since she'd seen the girl- but even through her changes, that ebullience and joie de vivre was unmistakable- as were the girls marks... so easily identified by her lack of clothes.

Setting her basket down on the sand, Emelyn called to her from several feet off- not wanting to startle her... and, truthfully, giving herself the distance she might need to scramble up the mountain's face... should Colche prove herself to be as vicious as Jamal. Her knife was tucked into the pocket of her cutoff shorts- but she prayed for no need to use it.

Colche's ears flickered as somone called her name and her big deep blue eyes turned. Of course, a smile came to her face, as she saw Emelyn. It had bee a long time. She giggled and padded over to the girl happily "Hai Emelyn!" she stated, her vocabulary had improoved immencely since she had last seen the hedgehog lady thanks to speaking books and DVD's, she knew how to address somone and for the little cheetah girl that was something to be proud of. The puurr from deep in her chest sounded clear as a bell as she held her arms out for a hug.

"Not forever emelyn" she scrunched up her nose the phrase didn't sound right so she tried it again "no see forever" She grinned okay that sounded a bit better. She longed so much to speak as everyone else did and understand what they said back.

A Sudden smile cracked the cheetah girls lips though and she gave a sweet, tuneful puury little laugh "Emerlyn mrs tiggywinkle" She grins broadly, she was still a child at heart learing from her mistakes and from ehr books and upon closer inspection Emelyn looked decidedly like the hedghog lady Mrs Tiggywinkle, well almost, Emelyn wasn't as chubby.

"Mrs. Tiggywinkle?" Em said softly, chewing the phrase slowly as if it were an alien cuisine... then, at the insistance of her childhood memories- she laughed, and recalled the rotund washer-woman hedgehog of the tales of Beatrix Potter. She laughed.

"That's right, we're both hedgehog girls." She came forward and wrapped her arms lovingly around the cheetah princess' neck. "So you've been reading? Or someone has been telling you stories? That's so wonderful, Colche."

Somehow... she doubted that Colche posed any danger to her. Call it a hunch.

Colche giggled and puurred hugging her friend "Uh huh, Mrs tiggywinkle nice hodgyheg" she grins looking up at the hedgehog woman her tail tip twitching a few times as she puurred happily. "I likes beatrix potter." she puurred happily, she had only read, or attempted to read the stories, she and Aubrey read alot of things when they were together and she then repeated the stories over and over. She had learned a great deal from these books and wasn't willing to stop taking in the knowlege.

"Read lots 'n' watch deeveedees" she stated with a grin. "Ohoh!" she grinned her tongue sticking out "Colche.." she paused, frowning again, no, that wasn't how she refarred to herself "I a princess cheetah" she grinned broadly, she liked to tell everyone whom didn't know what her animal was.

"A princess cheetah, hm? Let's see..." Emelyn stood back, as if to examine her, searching for evidence of royalty. She brushed a bit of hair away from the sweet, yet animalistic face and smiled, nodding and coming to her 'conclusion'. "Yep. I think that suits a little princess well enough. ...In fact, if you've been reading and watching stories... have you read a book called "A Little Princess" yet? It's about a little girl who has some trouble because she has no parents, and is treated badly... but then she finds happiness in stories and has a happy ending. I think you'd love it." She wished she had her own, childhood copy to provide to Colche- but relying on the island's library would have to suffice.

It struck Em as peculiar- to say the least- that someone so much further along in a change to a dangerous animal might retain so much more of her humanity, her innocence- indeed, becoming even more so human with the insinuation of knowledge and a comfortable environment. Especially after what had happened with Jamal. True- tigers were of a different brand of viciousness than cheetahs- especially princess cheetahs, Emelyn thought with a wry aside. ...But in the end, Emelyn decided that there must be something more inherent, more... soulful about humanity than the possession of ones mind by a dangerous creature- or by the shape and form of ones body. For how else could you explain the princess cheetah who, with every new spot- found a new breadth of her humanity?

Colche shook her head, she hadn't read that book, but it sounded great! "No! Will Em Read with me?" she tilted ehr head softly, she liked it if somone helped her read, helped her with the 'big words' and generally read the story so she could re read ti on ehr own trying to define the words and read it over and over until the story was thoroughly in her head and she could almost recite it word for word.

Colche's ears fluttered a bit as a breath of wind ruffled her fur and she grinned "Col..I read beauty an beast n sleepin' beauty aan cinderella" she grins and giggles "purty stories bout princesses n princes." Colche holds her hands out to Em and smiles "swim then story em pleaseplease?" she grins innocently a pleading look in those big innocent baby blue eyes. "Me can swim" she smiles broadly proud of her learned ways "Rex teached"
PostPosted: Wed Apr 05, 2006 12:14 pm

"Of course we can swim. But I don't have the story with me, or I'd read it to you. ...I can probably remember enough to tell you, though, if you'd like. Or if you found it in the village, I could read it to you if you brought it out here to me." As she spoke, she unzipped her shorts and slid them down over her hips. She was wearing her bikini bottoms- as well as the top, sans shirt- and so, after kicking the ripped jeanshorts aside, she was ready to wade into the water.

"I'm not living in the village anymore," she explained simply, "I live up in the mountain, now."

Colche tilted ehr head a bit at the fact that Em was no longer living int he villiage "Villiage nice" she stated, though she happily padded on towards the water ready fr a little swim to cool her fur. Her tail tip wriggled and she ran suddenly splashing in to the water and turning to make sure she splashed Em before she pulled a tongue playfully.

The little cheetah girl giggled, she liked to swim, rex had taught her how though she had to stay closer to the shore cause she didn't want to get lost in the sea. "Em no come to duplex n read?" she pouted a bit and tilted her head, her bed was the bestest place to be told a story and to read along. still a nice story on the beach would be nice she supposed.
