Well, it's okay. Not as much fun with randoms.
Really freaking hard though good grief.
Doesn't really get you any more points than you'd get from the multiplayer games. (Assuming you do okay.) It also doesn't count towards unlocks either so that makes me sad. ):

Agreed, I am also annoyed with the lack of unlock support, seeing as I'm not a big fan of regular multiplayer modes I've been hoping for another way to unlock special kit and armour. But all in all, I'm liking it so far, playing solo for a bit to give all three classes a whirl. So far, Devastator with a heavy bolter works, until wave 2. sweatdrop

THQSledgehammer Prior to the release of the Xbox 360 version of the Exterminatus DLC it came to our attention that there was a connectivity issue that needed to be fixed. We have taken the difficult decision to delay the title update and DLC release to repair this issue and ensure that the mode is functioning as intended when we release it. We will share a projected live date for this content on the Space Marine community site as soon as possible. Thanks

D: I´m alittle dissappointed about the DLC. sad
Was expecting alittle better Last Stand/Horde mode that would really reflect
the Space Marines, kinda like assaults in Unreal Tournament.
Which reminds me, why call 2 sub-choices "Assault" and "Escape"
if the only difference between these two is just 4 maps? <.<"
And no unlocks for armours and weapons? D:
We´re not all gaming gods you know. crying
But, despite these issues, the dlc is fun.
I wouldn´t say it´s better then Gears´ Horde or DoW´s Last Stand,
but it´s daaaamn close. 3nodding
There is alittle balancing issue with the fact that if you try play with less
then 3 players, you WILL have a hard time getting past few waves
before you´ll get slaugthered.
That needs fixing. :-/

With these issues in mind, plus how fun it is and that it´s a free dlc.
earns that score.

Agreed, I'm sad that the weapon and armour achievements remain locked away for me, especially due to the combination of being unable to find a good game and my general dislike of CTF and TDM.
Exterminatus also doesn't approve of me using the plasma cannon. Every time I use is the game crashes. emotion_donotwant

I don´t use it because it gets me killed more often then not,
pretty much making it the worst weapon to have in exterminatus. sweatdrop

The plasma cannon is a great horde killer, especially the charged shot, should you have a clear LOS and the time to charge it. It gave me quite a few mega kills before the game crapped out on me.
I did play my first online Exterminatus match just now as a Tactical with bolter, storm bolter, serrated combat blades and second weapon perk, joined by two Devastators with plasma cannon and heavy bolter respectively and an assault marine with thunder hammer. While the Devs ate away our extra lives the Assault and I scooted around the map, remaining mobile. I found the "pop off a few burst and maybe lob a grenade" approach to work best for me personally, kiting large groups of foes into reach of the Assault marine who eagerly jumped in at certain points, giving me the chance to turn around and keep his back clear. Great tactic, works really well, until you come across 'Ard Boyz and Bomb Squigs.

I noticed being good as Assault Marine with "1hitkills" and
"death from above" perks and as a Tactical with StormBolter,
meltagun, "2 weapon loadout" and "improved grenade" perks,
also being constantly mobile and supporting others. 3nodding
It´s kinda awesome kiting a large mob of shield and 2h nobz
and blastinig them with the meltagun. xD

I managed to reach wave 3 solo as an assault marine with thunder hammer. It got balls hard and I died in thirty seconds as I got swamped trying to cap a point all by myself.
I'm trying to power on to level 25 so I can get True Grit for the assault marine. Yessss.
