Shaydra stared at him uncomfortably until he turned away. She suddenly grinned evilly. "If i'm so powerless, can you do this?" She whipped out a pencil and started drawing in the air, a line of lead following the tip. A few seconds later, she tapped the now completed drawing twice with the pencil tip.
Color slowly blushed up the shape, filling in every gap, until a large, very real purple dragon landed on top of Luxran's head. The dragon squealed uncomfortably and deposited dung on top of Luxran's messy hair, than skittered over to Shaydra.
"Can you make a dragon?" She said, laughing at the now sizeable pile of fresh waste fermenting on Luxran. She stroked the dragon affectionally.

"Kinda." luxran said placing his hands on the ground. soon a giant dragon appeared crashing out of the ground. this dragon was double the size of shaydra's. the dragon burned the dung off luxran's head. "Well i was also kidding about the weak."

Shaydra's dragon suddenly expanded like a balloon and swallowed the twice-bigger dragon, emitting a cloud of smoke as the other dragon went down. It resumed normal size, except for a distended belly, and fell asleep on its side.
"Good." Shaydra said. "Because by some standards, I'm definitely not weak."

All this time, Lex had shifted back into her human form and taken the baby dragon from Luxran, who didn't even notice, he was so busy showing off to Shaydra. She held him like a baby and purred to him, speaking in her tiger voice even though her form was a human. The dragon snorted and gigled at the gibberish coming out her mouth.

Shaydra watched Lex and had a sudden thought. "Hey Lex..." she started, "Can you turn into a dragon? Don't demonstrate if you can, I just want to know."

Lex thought, "Uh, yeah, I think. I haven't in so long, no need to. Why?" Her eyes never left the green eyes of the baby dragon's.

"No just wondering." Shaydra stretched her wings. "Let's hurry and do whatever we came out to do, some more soldiers might come along. Lex, you wanted to hunt, right?"

Lex shook her head, "Nah, I'm ok." She still held the baby dragon but now turned to face Luxran and Shaydra. She cradled the dragon in her arms and spoke to the group. "Should we go back to the Inn? Or move somewhere else?"

"Stay in the Inn," Shaydra decided. "After all, the others are waiting there, and we don't seem to be in any danger."

luxran looked at lex. "Lex, turn into a dragon" he said. "Pahau must see a person of his species, or he will think he is a lion, tiger, or anything else."

"He has Shaydra.." Lex shrugged and relcutently gave the baby back to Luxran. concentrating hard, she shifted into a huge black dragon. Her dragon form still had green eyes, but her scales were black as obsidian. Her wings, toes, and tail were tipped gold and she had huge teeth. She was bigger than Shaydra in her dragon form, but only a little. Lex blinked a couple times and growled, "Happy?" in a deep, gravely voice.

Shaydra backed away from Lex slightly on instinct, because one dragon usually didn't intrude on the other if the one was smaller. Then she stopped, reminding herself that Lex wasn't a real dragon. Besides, her smell was wrong; there was a lot of human scent.
"I think we should get out of the middle of the street, anyhow," Shaydra said. "Some smarter guard might come along." She transformed back into a human and stepped into the Inn, looking over her shoulder to see if the others would follow.

"Did I scare you?" Lex laughed as she shifted back into her human form. She snatched Pahua back from Luxran and held him as tenderly as before. She quietly walked back to the Inn, making sure no one would take notice to the baby dragon.

"You know these people are with the dragons?" luxran asked. "they aren't against them, they like dragons."
