Storm layed her free hand against her heart and managed to look wounded.

Kibo pushes Ranu's blade away, stepping out from between him and Storm.
Kibo: But I can still push you around, subordinate. Resheath your sword, and don't you dare pull it out again unless your life is in danger.

Ranu did so, as Kibo said it. "Yes, sir." He said, straining the word 'sir' faintly. He shifted his look from them both and onto the flying figure of Auron, secretly hoping he'd land and break his neck for sparking another weapon Storm now planned to torture him with. His own past.

Storm grinned and stepped back from Ranu. She let her spell drop off of him.
"Bitter? It's a given. Whore? Sure, if you want to use that particular turn of phrase. But bitter becuase you refuse to take me? Doubtful. Lust is merely a word and feeling. Funny thing about feelings: they are pushed away and forgotten as easily as they surface."

He stared off into the horizen as if he'd seen something, or could hear something. "Where the hell did he go?" He murmered, still watching the sea.

"We all make mistakes, sir." Ranu replied distractedly, "It makes us who we are, and better people." He snorted, "Or so I'm told." He drew his eyes from the sea, frowing att he decks below his feet. "I'd give my bloody split in loot to know what James is doing," He commented to himself, slightly louder than intended. He looked back out east, unsettled.
