Constance sighed. Yet again, a Gryphyndor...She saw Rose say something to Albus, but she couldn't tell what it was. Why did it have to be so hard to read lips? Deaf people did it all the time without effort! They made it look so easy...Oh, well. She thought. I might see them on the castle grounds...

Rose stood up from her seat and walked toward the Slytherin table where Constance was sitting sadly. Rose reached the seat next to Constance and sat down with a smile"Hey Constance. How's this house treating you?"She asked

Constance looked up and smiled. "Hey, Rose! This house hates me. How about yours? Treating you well or do they hate you and you decided to come over here?" She said slyly.

Her smile widened. "Really?" Her eyes sparkled. "Friends...?" This is what it's like to have friends... She thought. This is what It's like to belong...
"If you come, you will seek." Only Ron could hear the voice echoing in his head. "A game of memory." This time, it was directed for Harry. "Knowledge is key." Last was Hermione.

Constance smiled wickedly. "In that case, I'll go over to your house table..." She snickered. "Nobody'll mind except for half the house. She stood up.
The voice laughed again. "Running off, are you? I'll just meet you later, then pupets..." It vanished.

Harry had to fight down the urge to run up to the Shrieking Shack to prove that he wasn't being a coward, but he allowed Ron and Hermione to take his hand, and lead him up to the castle.
