"So full of pride. That can get you in trouble in the long run. Control your anger and you will not only become a better warrior, but a better being."
The Hellstar Staff began to glow dimly.
"Indeed. You are a Lycan, not a Necromancer. Your specialization lies in your physical attributes, whereas Lazarus' specialization lies in his mental attributes. However, he has also trained himself physically, becoming an excellent fighter. Unfortunately, you will never be able to use necromancy. One cannot simply learn it... you must be born with the gift."

Jade sulked, casting a hurt look at Kieth, seemingly the only one who was really on her side. Her eyes told him that she wanted to leave the room for now. She was afraid of saying anything more to provoke the condecension of Lazarus and his haughty staff. She bit her lip, avoiding Lazarus' gaze because she felt like a child under his scrutiny. When Kieth turned to leave, Jade breathed a sigh of relief and followed quickly after him. She nodded at Dread respectfully before leaving but did not acknowledge Lazarus.

Jade followed quite willingly and gratefully after Kieth. She heard the last of Lazarus' words, wondering what he could mean by finding peace at last. She was just glad to get away from there for awhile. When they were out of earshot, Jade turned to Kieth. "What do you think of that Lazarus guy?" she asked, trying to keep the childish anger out of her tone.

James rolled over, yawning as he awoke.
He sat up, looking around.
The room was empty.
"Raphael...?" He called, looking around. He sighed.
Looks like the other angel had left. Figures.

Jade sat down on the bed, patting it for him to sit next to her. "Yeah, I suppose I can forgive him for his attitude. I shouldn't have spoke as I did, I feel like a total idiot." She looked at the floor, blushing slightly.

"James." Raph called out to him. He was sitting at the mouth of the cave keeping watch. He was still shaken from what he had seen, he was scared. He had never known that a place had existed where such horrors had taken place.

"Is peace even achievable anymore?"
The Hellstar Staff hummed quietly.
"Anything is achievable, Lazarus. Even you know this. One day, we shall find enough power to sustain our peace. Just wait a little longer."

Jade couldn't help but smile back at Kieth. She had trouble remaining angry when he was with her. She sighed. "Thanks. I guess it's not so bad." She thought of Lazarus' comments to her. They weren't meant to anger her, but rather to teach a lesson. She let the anger flow out of her completely. "I wonder where we will find that Seraphim..." she said thoughtfully, changing the subject.

"James, did you know that there is a chamber in the back of this cave where angels were sacrificed? I found a slab and weapons covered in angelic blood, the knife I picked up burned my hand!" Raph said, showing James his palm. There was a scorch mark across it. The squirrel peeked out from behind Raph's head, now staring at James curiously.
