Nebride's eyes narrowed. "Touch the boy, and we will have problems. I am charged with protecting him, and protect him I shall." She moved her neck and it popped.
"As for me being here...I am hunting someone. Someone who deserves to die for his crimes." Nebride's hands clenched. "Even if it pains me to do it myself."

Witch hunter:
the girl kept whispering to him.
he could see her fear.
she had met us before he knows it.
his plan was working the other 20 hunters were surrounding them.
if they tried anything they would swiftly be killed. even if it meant his own life may be lost in the process.
"im afraid i must show u slight compassion and at least let u answer. will u lay down ur arms. but dont wrry about what compassion means i dont expect u to know."
he continued to insult them. he knew the elves. they were ounce allies to the emperor. but time has changed and so had he.
they were now enemies and as such must be destroyed.
"so your protecting him now?, and what for?."
what was her plan? who was this boy?
"ahhh let me guess. some elf in your village committed a crime. now u have to punish him?"
he was not sure if that was her true reasoning. but he knew that if that was the case hed probably have to let her go. it would be more valuable for her to find the murderous elf then let him go free.

Nebride could sense the hunters surrounding them. "Does he think that I am an idiot?" Her eyes narrowed slightly. "A murderous elf. Hmm--yes....Eleclyo could and should be called that."
Suddenly Nebride flared her fingers and a ring of fire surrouned them cutting off the hunters. "I am not an idiot witch hunter. I know there are people out there surrounding us. Did you take me for a fool? I suppose they are having a hard time getting in." She cocked her head to the side. "Funny thing about this fire of mine--people can get out, if they truly want it, but no matter what---nobody can get in."

i could sense more of his kind closing in. i had to do my best to stall time.
"what about you? you believe that if it's not human... then it's evil?" i had him thinking with that one. i hoped i could at least do something with that.

he scowled. she was using magic. at least this magic was just magic and not shadow magic.
his look turned more playful
"haha u relise im a WITCH hunter. magic is our specialty."
withc hunters would never use magic to fight.
but holy magic, enchantments and relics are a totally different story.
he held out a necklace with the emperors symbol on it and started to pray.
soon the fire started to weaken. and without notice the other hunters jumped through the weakened flame with little harm.
"i thought u said noone could get in elf"
the other hunters surrounded them there weapons drawn and ready.
"you are lucky that youre value suddenly increased. i cant possibly allow a murderer go unpunished. and as it seems only u know where to find him."
"and yes. your right. if its not human it IS evil. becuase it is a violation to the emperor and such violations cannot be ignored"
but i see no reason to allow the others to leave.
at that piont the other hunters seemed to ready themselves. to at the word charge in and kill them.
"but i see that u must have good reason to protect them. im no fool and i know that three traitors is not excuse to allow a true murderer to go free.
you have three days witch. then ur time will be up and u shall burn."
and with that the other hunters left.
almost as if they were never there they simply hid away in the forest.
"DO NOT try and escape elf. because we shall watch u"
he dared not turn his back on them. such a mistake would be foolish

damn. he was ignoring me. "hunter!!! answer my question. do you believe that if it is not human, it's an enemy?" with all these hunters around i was definatly nervous. i knew running was pointless and i'd be stupid to try. so i stayed put. my eyes bore into the witch hunters eyes as i waited for his answer.

Nebride's jaw clenched. "If I had used true elf magic, you would not have been able to break it with such a small, holy, trinket. And if I really wanted to get away, you could not stop me. There are ways for me to disappear and still leave these people protected from you and your holy crusaders. As for me burning---good luck with that one. For once I'm done with my dear, murdering brother---you will be next. I promise you that. I don't take kindly to people who threaten my people or my friends."

he knew the true power of shadow magic he had seen it before.
and she was right. his tools were built to face witches and daemon spells not dark magic.
"and even should i die. you know someone will simply take my place serving the emperor."

"if it's not human it's an enemy. that's fairly interesting because... not everything good on this planet is human. butterflies, the birds that sing outside you're window in the morning, even the horses you ride on. they're not human, and they're not an enemy. so just what are they. are you saying that creatures that aren't human yet think like humans are your enemies? animals have thoughts too." i hoped he understood. it was true but the thing i was waiting for was weather he believed it or not.

Nebride smirked at Gren's remark. "The girl has a good point. Let's see what the hunter has to say about that."

"i am not trying to fool you. nor am i trying to test your faith. in fact i respect your devotion to your emperor. what i say is the truth. even if it isn't human, that doesn't nesesarily mean that it's evil.i know whom i speak to but my question to you is, do you know that some people aren't as stupid as you think?"
