"Well you see... I don't have any inborn teleportation spells at hand... though I have used many transportaion scrolls in the past! In fact.. I actually used one to get to our launching post to find this hidden kingdom! Not to mention we fell through some sort of teleportation field to get to this place... So I'd say I'm rather quite familar with it! Though I do experiance some "random variables" from time to time... What is it I can do to help?"
Gerbo asked at the end of his rambling. The excitment of battle and magic had him wouned up tighter than a compressed srping.

Well if you have the experience in teleportation and Gerbo hase plenty of magical power. Couldn't the two of you just combine your powers and leave the travel guidence up to the master mage?

"I think we'll be able to work with it," he says. "Just close your eyes and concentrate on the teleportation field."
With that, he closes his eyes and begins a quiet chant. After a bit of effort, you two manage to get the spell to take effect, and you feel yourselves snapped off to another part of the complex. This part looks abandoned, well beyond the fighting that you hear coming from ahead of you.
"Okay," the mage says. "If I got the location right, the Albatross should be somewhere behind us." He motions towards the two hallways behind you, off to your left and right and then curving so they head directly back. "Right or left? I don't think it really matters in the end, but we might have an easier trip if we double back and help clear out the wave of demons assaulting the side corridor. Or we could run and hope we're out of here before anything breaks the line. Either way, once we're out I can teleport clear away and you can be off with your airship."

Hmm, a dificult choise indeed. Personaly I still have plenty of fight left however, if you would rather be done with this conflict that would be fine.

You run back to the front lines that the city's soldiers are defending. There don't seem to be many left: you see one sergeant, and three footsoldiers. "Thank goodness backup finally got here!" the sergeant excalims when he sees you. "They're breaking lines all over the place, and we were just about at our breaking point." Looking around, you see eight dead footsoldiers and dozens of dead demons out in the hall.
"Look out, here come some more!"
A vanguard of Grinders approaches. Everyone forms up to present a strong front against them, and you two end up fighting six of them. Three each try to team up on you.

With that said, Gerbo jumped back and gather a small amount of magical power, blasting a fireball against the 3 assaulting him.
(Fireball, 15 to one of them, 6 to another one, Dice for defense.)

Firu hits a Grinder twice, once with his normal attack and once with a smash. It staggers backwards but remains standing and hits Firu back with a Shield Bash for six damage, and manages to strike him again for a further four damage upon being hit. They all try to gang up on him, but are unable to breach his defenses.
Gerbo gets dogpiled by Grinders, and they manage to inflict two damage to him after his defense. Leaping back and huring a fireball, Gerbo clears one out and hurts another.
Gerbo: 8/15 Life, 8 AP, 0 MP. Firu: 16/25 Life, 0 AP, 8 MP.
Party pool: 6 AP, 2 MP.
Firu's Grinders: 1, 15, 15. Gerbo's Grinders: 9, 15

"Alrighty than! You guys arn't as tough as you look!"
With that Gerbo charged another large fireball and flung it directly at the pile of grinders still attacking him.
Firu! Hold off just a little longer! I'll come tou your aid as soon as I finish these ones off!
(Fireball the injured one rollover to final grinder, Dice for defense)

The round proceeds much the same as the last one, except with Firu apparently covering up, allowing himself to avoid any damage while not dealing any either. The two Grinders together are not capable of harming Gerbo.
At the end of the round, a new combatant charges on to the scene: A lone Breaker, running straight to attack Gerbo in the next round, teaming up with the Grinder currently attacking the gnome wizard. Firu's three Grinders seem content to keep him occupied for the time being.
Gerbo: 8/15 Life, 9 AP, 0 MP. Firu: 21/25 Life, 1 AP, 9 MP. (+3 Combat.)
Party pool: 5 AP, 3 MP.
Breaker: 30/30 Life. Firu's Grinders: 1, 15, 15. Gerbo's Grinder: 3.
