Lust scowled at Greed, his insides burning with anger. Slowly, his appearance changed back to normal. It took about all the control he could muster, for he still had a great deal more he wished to say to the other, but, so slowly, he cooled himself down and turned in the direction of his own room, his face morphing back into his usual, unscathed grin.

He took several steps away from the others before he stopped and turned, a light grin on his lips. "By the way, Greed... he said it was much better with me than he'd ever gotten with you," Lust said. Of course, Pain had never said that, but.... Lust could tell -- he always could. The sin smirked lightly as he turned away, gave the pair a mock wave and headed up towards his room.

Greed turned back to Lust, knowing that he had made the other sin completely angry. That had been his intention, mostly because he hated when others took his things or used his things, and this underling was one of his things. Pain hadn't spoken at all the entire time, and kept his gaze down onto the ground, never glancing up at either sin. He felt so bad for Lust, and knew that he shouldn't have messed with the other sin because it was creating problems for himself and Lust.

Greed glanced back at Lust, hearing him, his lips smirking, though his eyes flashed dangerously. Pain's mouth fell open as he snapped his head back up to look at Lust. He hadn't said that, though he sighed as it was true and he felt it completely.

"Oh, is this true? Well, i'll make sure that he never says it again."

Lust didn't have a conscience. After all, he wasn't human -- he was a sin. But he did feel a slight twinge of guilt at Greed's last words. Pain was gonna get it bad, he knew, and it was his fault.... Perhaps he was spending too much time with humans and they were rubbing off on him. After all, he shouldn't care in the least what Greed did with his 'property,' as he put it. Or maybe he just 'cared' because he had wanted to f*ck the little underling himself....

Lust frowned and the door to his room. He opened it slowly and then closed it behind himself before he collapsed back onto his very large, very comfortable bed. He really should have gotten that waiter's number instead of just giving him his....

His phone rang, then. The took it out of his pocket and looked at the caller ID. Unknown name. He opened it slowly and held it up to his ear.

"Hello?"

"Hey, uhm... it's me, from the restaurant...? I just got off work, so..."

Lust smiled to himself as the teen continued, all thoughts of Pain and Greed banished from his mind.

((He's such a pig! 8D;;;; ))

[ bah i know! good thing he's cute. poor pain DX ]

Pain glanced back at Lust, sighing as he turned his gaze back towards the ground as he walked. He didn't blame the sin, since it had been his fault as well, and it had gone both ways. It was his fault since he was growing attached to Lust, even though he knew that the sin wasn't a human like him. He couldn't be able to give it back. Pain shivered slightly as headed up the stairs and into the room with Greed. Pain didn't move, but yelped as he felt the sin toss him against the wall, the back of his head hitting the wall. He saw white stars flash in his eyes, and he groaned softly. Greed smirked.

"Aw, how cute. You actually like Lust, don't you? He's so nice and sweet. How adorable."

Greed sneered, hitting him across the jaw once more. Greed was a sin as well, and of course he no concious either. He cared even less than Lust did, and smirked as he saw the boy faze in and out, losing concious from the hits. Greed didn't care, but after awhile got sick of beating on him, since it was boring him, and he tossed Pain out of his room. The underling headed downstairs, needing ice for his head before he even thought of heading down into his room. he sighed, grabbing some ice as he sat at the kitchen counter.

((Pain needs a friend. And Lust is a bit busy.... 8D;;; (he left the house pretty quick, huh) ))

Fever glanced up as he heard someone enter. He had overheard the conversation between Lust and Greed -- after all, he was Lust's, so he tended to know all (or at least most, since he doubted anyone could know all) of the sin's affairs -- and was rather confident in his deduction that this would be Pain stumbling into the kitchen, the worse for ware from his time with Greed. And, just as he had thought, he glanced up to find Pain stumbling into the kitchen. Fever got up, brushing a hand through his platinum-white hair -- hair that most would call "blonde" but, really, was stark white -- as he reached into the frezer, taking out a cold compress and handing it to Pain.

"This is better than ice," was all he said as the searched through one of the many kitchen drawers for a towel to wrap around the cold package. Once that was found he handed that, too, to the other. He didn't ask any questions -- he knew, more or less, what had happened.

Fever didn't look like someone who would be following the sins. He had pale skin -- even paler than Lust's -- that came from a life lived out of the sun. His short blonde hair was kept neatly, the long-ish bangs brushed away from his pale blue eyes. He was tall, too. But he looked much too clean cut to be in with the sins -- he looked like the cliched picture of a Scandenavian or Sweedish angel. In short, just like Lust, he was beautiful... but in a more innocent, kind way. But, for whatever reason, he had fallen in on the dark side, no matter his looks.

[ aw yay! hah oh Lust >> ]

Pain sighed, keep his eyes on the ground, which really wasn't a smart idea since then he was prone to run into anything in front of him. He picked up his saddened gaze, sighing as he headed into the kitchen. He hadn't seen Fever around, since he hadn't seen the other underling in quite some time, but he didn't really keep tabs on anyone else other than himself and Greed at times. Pain still felt horrible for putting Lust through that, but he would recover quickly enough as it was. He needed to erase thinking that Lust could ever feel like that as it was, and he would be fine. he was just having a horrible day.

Pain glanced up as he saw Fever hand him a cold pack for his head, and he sighed as he gave a small, yet slightly bright smile. Fever reminded him alot like Lust, since he had that fair skin and piercing bright eyes. He was goregous as well, but at least Pain was easier to get along with because he at least was like himself, and wasn't a sin.

"Thanks."

Pain said, brushing a few of his platnium locks out of his face as he sighed and sat down on the couch. He glanced at the tv, which wasn't turned on, and wondered if he should since that would keep his attenion, yet not for that long. Plus he really didn't enjoy watching it like Sloth did. Pain turned and looked back to Fever, wondering what he was doing. Pain hadn't seen him out and about in quite some time.

Fever had resumed his seat. He didn't seem to be doing anything in particular. He glanced up at the other. "I'm just enjoying the kitchen. I was sick for a couple weeks and wasn't able to leave my room..." he said, answering the other's unspoken question. Of course, being sick wasn't at all rare for Fever. He had been born weak, and always would be. But he had gained quite a bit of strength from joining the sins. Now, his sick attacks were relatively mild and short-lived, though, compared to those of a normal, human, they were still quite serious and prolonged. But Fever was used to that.

But still, it was strange that he would serve under Lust, of all the sins, as they were nothing alike -- Lust was curious and bold and playful, not very concerned about others' feelings and quite selfish. Fever was more withdrawn, with a placid, detatched sort of kindness. He was helpful, and didn't pry. Besides which, he spent the majority of his time sick in bed, so it wasn't as if he had time to pry, anyway, since not much of anyone ever visited him.

Still, though, despite his silence, he felt sorry for the other underling. Greed always made it rough for him, always beat on him and did painful things. Fever knew that, had he been in the other's place, he would likely be dead by now, as he weak body would not have been able to bear the abuse.

"No problem," he replied. "Make sure you keep it on for at least twenty minutes. It'll abate most of the swelling, but you should put some salve on it, too... and maybe a bandage, to be safe." Helpful, yes, but when it came to sickness and injuries he was a bit paranoid and a little too eager to help.

Pain smiled and nodded, his mood brightening a bit, not as sullen and saddened as before. He was glad that there were other underlings that were around that he could converse and be around since they were in the same position as he. Well, maybe not the same. he was sure that Fever didn't get beaten and forced semi against his will all the time. Not that Pain was really complaining, since he had chosen to come in and be with Greed since really he had saved him from the life he used to live. So, it wasn't such a bad trade.

"Oh. I hope you're better now."

Pain said, pushing up off of the couch as he headed over towards Fever in the kitchen. The named served him well, since he seemed to be sick alot, as Pain's name served him as well. It all made sense. He sat beside Fever, smiling in thanks to him once more, giggling softly as he nodded because he knew that Fever liked to help, and alot.

"Maybe. I think i'll be ok though."

Fever nodded. "Much. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be able to sit upright," he replied with a small shrug. It was true. His sick bouts made him overly dizzy and nautious -- so much so that the smallest movements could upset him so completely and send him into a tailwind of sick-making vertigo. Fortunately for him, he wasn't completely forgotten in his sickness and others (namely Lusts other underlings, for they were the closest to him) brought him food (what he could consume, at least) and medicine.

Fever glanced up as Pain came to sit beside him. "But you really should put something on it. It'll help the bruises go away faster -- and I'm pretty sure it's not exactly fun to have a green and purple face, yes?" he replied with a small smile. Really, he was overly obsessed with health. Even seeing the smallest of cuts or bruises left him itching to treat it, whether the injury was his own or that of someone else.

Pain chuckled and nodded, keeping the ice pack on his head, setting his hands back down at his side as he was sure that it would stay, since his arm was feeling a bit stiff. In reality, his entire body was feeling a bit stiff, but he laughed as he imagined asking Greed for a massage. The sin was so unpredictable that really it was funny. At times he wasn't too bad, and could be slightly affectionate and, dare he say it, kind, but that was generally when he wanted something. So easy to read. Pain glanced to Fever as he spoke, sighing as he rolled his eyes lightly, though not in any malicious sort of way. Just because he thought that it was so..typical of him.

"Alright. If you say so."

Pain said, hugging the other underling softly, just because he knew the male might be a bit sore because he was getting over the illness. Pain sat up afterwards, heading onto the other side of the counter, the same one that he and Lust had done it on. He hoped that Lust had cleaned it in the back of his mind. Pain glanced back to Fever.

"Want something to eat? I'm making something because i'm starving."

Getting beaten must really make someone hungry.

Fever stayed where he was -- he had found a spare piece of paper a while ago and had begun to doodle some squiggly lines on it -- as the other got up. He glanced up, though, when the other spoke once more, a light smile on his lips.

"That would be nice," he replied, leaning across the counter on his elbows. Of course, he also knew what had happened this morning, and he knew Lust hadn't cleaned the counter. And so, being the clean freak germophobe that he was, he had cleaned the counter. That was one aspect of his personality that he shared with Pride -- he couldn't stand it when things were dirty. It was just begging for germs and for insipient infections to form.

"What are you going to make?"
PostPosted: Sun Jul 08, 2007 12:19 pm

Pain hadn't thought any more about the counter, since he was alot like Greed and wasn't that worried about things that were dirty or whatnot. He hardly ever got sick, and since he had lived on the streets as an orphen since he was little and then since he came to live here, so things being dirty were the least of his worries. maybe he had built an immunity to things because of that. Lucky him.

"Um..well, there's not much to work with since Gluttony had his way with the fridge..maybe BLTs?"

He asked, grabbing the bacon, since there were two packages, more than enough for them as well as whoever else wanted some. He grabbed the bread, tomatoes, as well as the lettuce, glancing to Fever to see if he wanted it or not. It was one of Pain's favorite sandwitches, and he grabbed a pan as he waited for the answer.

"Drop the B for me... maybe put in some tofu or something, if we've got it...." he replied without explanation. Just as Fever did not pry, neither did he like to reveal too much about himself. True, he was vegetarian, but it wasn't for some sort of self-riteous "save the animals" bull. For him, it was a simple reason: his weakened body simply couldn't take meat, especially processed meat or in vast quantities. Last time he had tried to eat baccon, which had been some time ago, it had gone right out the other way. His body simply couldn't handle the onslaught of greese and he found it best to avoid all such substances. Again, he was a health freak for obvious reasons.

Finally, the teen got up, opening the fridge to rummage through before he came out with his search item -- tofu. He set it down on the counter. "Looks like Gluttony didn't eat everything, after all."
PostPosted: Sun Jul 08, 2007 12:39 pm

Pain smiled and nodded, though should have known. he had cooked for Fever several times when he had been sick, and knew that the male preferred that instead of any meat products. Pain didn't know why, since Fever didn't reveal much, but for as curious as Pain was, since that was really in his nature, he didn't think that it would be a complicated reason, and didn't mind making something different for him anyway. Pain took the tofu when Fever found it, chuckling as he nodded.

"Well, i guess he just isn't a fan of that."

Pain didn't like tofu that much either. Some vegetarian meals, like the burdgers made frm soy and whatnot, wern't that bad, though tofu wasn't something he really enjoyed. Fever could have it all to himself. Pain began to fry some of the bacon, preparing the tofu for the other underling as well. He toasted the bread slightly, humming to himself, his tail twitching happily as he washed off the lettuce and chopped the tomato, which he left off of his since he didn't care for it. Turning towards the stairs, Pain blinked, but he smiled as he nodded to Greed, who had come back down the stairs.

Greed sighed, yawning a bit tiredly, since right after finishing with Pain he had taken a small nap, not more than ten minutes or so. Now he was hungry, since he hadn't eaten breakfast, and he smelled what somoene was cooking below in the kitchen. Greed hugged Pain loosely, kissing his neck, seeming to have changed a full 180 from the time before. He got over Lust having his way with the underling, and after he got the anger out of his system, even though he was still pissed at Lust, he was fine with Pain. For now.

"Make me one too."

Greed said with a grin, seeing Pain smile and nod. The kid was so good at making himself forget on purpose. He just took the acts and trashed them, deleting them from his mind like it was nothing.

Fever nodded, eyeing Greed warilly as he entered. Though the sin had never really been angry with him before - or, for that matter, had much contact with him - he was always conscious of the other sins, particularly those who had potential for causing harm to him (which, really, was all of them, but mostly just Wrath and Greed). After all, he had to watch himself carefully or he might end up dead from the slightest of beatings. Fortunately, Lust wasn't into that sort of thing. Or at least, not that Fever knew of. But perhaps he would be if it were with someone else....

He watched the interaction between the sin and underling silently from his seat, which he had resumed as Greed entered. He just couldn't understand how Pain could so easily forget the hurt Greed caused him. Then again, if he had been thinking about it, he would have realised that Pain probably couldn't understand how Fever could stand all Lust's escapades and still be agreeable towards the sin -- how he could stand to be around him, despite knowing that the sin would never be loyal. But perhaps all the underlings had that sort of relationship with their sin.
