Sakura coughed and firmly held onto Sasuke's arm.
Sasuke: NO EFFIN' WAY scream
Sasuke's face was contorted in fury. The two had made a mutual agreement before the wedding had started (mostly because who Itachi/Kairi chose to sleep with was none of Sasuke's concern), but he hadn't counted on THIS.
Sasuke: Immortality?! Sakura you didn't tell me of THIS.
Sakura: How many of these weddings have you DONE?! THIS HAPPENS IN ALL OF THEM. scream
Sasuke: But it's Itachi! I-T-A-C-H-I. I'd rather get BEATEN then see this happ-
Sakura, swift and with a kind of grace she had always been known for, planted her fist in Sasuke's face. Sasuke, also with similar grace, slumped onto her unconsiously.
Sakura: *sweetly* ^^ Now, to commence the immortality ritual. Err, Renee, if you and imogen could so kindly hold my partner up while I begin explaining the ritual...

Peace stayed quiet for a moment, then got an evil grin on her face. "Say... Why not let me take care of him?" She hid the markers behind her back.

Imogen walked swiftly to the priests (priest now) and helped Renee hold up Sasuke.
She wasn't too sure how Itachi/Kairi would become immortal, but as long as it didn't have anything to do with her wrestling people (with battle axes) she was content.
Curiously, she eyed Kairi.

Sakura adjusted the oversized robes subconciously, and then stood to face the rest of the crowd.
"In order to do this, we need a blood sacrifice from the one becoming immortalized. After we've deposited said blood into the holy bowl," she pointed toward the bowl, "Hidan will take over with the chanting of hymns from the bible. There will be a huge flash of light. Do not be alarmed. Then to be sure that it worked, we have to test it."
Sakura pulls up her sleeves slowly, focusing chakra into her palms. "I will now begin the blood extraction."

Kairi suddenly had a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach.
This was going to require blood.
Probably lots and lots of blood.
She could run, but.. no.. damn handcuffs. .. She could slice Sakura's hands off, but.. no.. this was a wedding.
One screwed up wedding, but a wedding nonetheless.
..
This 'wedding night' had better be the best damn wedding night in the universe.

Sakura walked closer to Itachi, and placed her hand on his forehead.

Sakura nodded at Kairi/Itachi once she had her approval. Then, using chakra, she began expanding the pores on the patch of skin on Itachi's forehead that she had placed her hand upon.
"This may feel very awkward," she began when she saw Itachi's eye twitch, "but there will be no mark left, don't worry."
She motioned to imogen who handed her the bowl. She collected the small amount of blood that appeared on Kairi/Itachi's forehead. It wasn't a great amount, but enough for what she needed.
She quickly closed Itachi's pores and patted the spot. "There all done." Then she motioned to Iia/Hidan who stepped forward.
Now, please begin chanting the hymns.

Iia stepped foreward, just a teensy bit shakey.
Blood never affected her. But the pore thing. Just...weird.
When she was baptized under the Jashin religion, she was pretty sure they had stabbed her tummy.
But anyways, they had to blood, and now she needed to sing.
"Ahem..."
A deep breath, and...
"Jashin, stand among us
In Thy risen power,
Let this time of worship
Be a hallowed hour.
Breath your immortality
Into every heart,
Bid the fears and sorrows
From each soul depart."

When it was over, Kairi quickly put a hand to her forehead, only to find out nothing was there. She sighed in relief, but still.. how odd.
THEN CAME THE BIG WHITE FLASH.
She blinked, repeatedly.

Iia blinked at the flash.
IT WORKED!
Iia resisted the urge to glomp Kairi right then and there, but alas...the immortality needed to tested.
Immediately, Iia stepped behind Kairi and held her shoulders, holding her in place.
"Watch where you stab, you guys. I'm immortal too, but I'd rather NOT get run through with something..."

Sakura smiled.
"You should be immortal now, though we also want to make sure..." At this point she eyed the seated audience. No, Kairi/Itachi had already promised vengence on those that had laughed at her during the first ritual.
She then looked to the bridesmaids, who were...shaking. Okay, that wouldn't work either. "Maybe the maid of honors would like-" Sakura began only to be cut off when imogen and Renee jumped away from Sasuke and started moving away.
Annoyed, she caught her (still) unconscious partner. That was when it hit her. "Sorry Sasuke-kun, but I'll have to use you for a little while. Though I'm sure you won't mind."
Bringing her hand to his eyes, she awakened his senses.
Sasuke opened his eyes, groaning as he was brought back to his senses. Upon seeing Sakura, however, he remembered right away what exactly had happened. Sakura only met his glare with a sweet smile.
"As an apology, you can fight Itachi."
