You know, I really don't care how old the members are as long as they have a little thing called talent. By the way, Tsunku used to have people send in their demos in and them pick from them right?

Maybe because we like the past generation so much that we keep comparing them. In a sense that ok, but it's also not fair the current members. Let's say it was 1999 and we all just saw Maki just made in morning musume. We all know she was good because look at her now, but if we didn't any of that would you guys have the same apion about her in the beginning? Just like Sayu and Eri and Kusumi. Right now their not so good but in 2 years they maybe could be better then any of the past generation. Yea it's hard to belevie it now, but we dont know for sure right? Are opions can changes at anytime.

I dont mind Sayumi, but damn she cant sing!! I love Eri, and i like hearding her sing too. Makoto is a underdog! awesome talent, great personality but cant show her full potential because they dont give her enough lines! (in some of the old songs, when then do concerts, she gets other peoples lines, and yeah she's awesome!!) Koha-san, i dunno what to think yet...other than she cant sing....looks like a good, honest girl but dammit learn how to sing! Risa & Konno are my favorite MM members at the moment...go underdogs~ i'm hoping you 3 get more lines!!

You guys all have a good point but here I go. If it were 1999 and I saw Maki coming in, I would be cool about it. I have always liked Maki's voice. She has always been a good singer which is the difference between her and Koharu. Yeah, I know that Maki has been around longer than Koharu and that Maki has improved but as far as I know, Maki never sounded to me like a screeching cat. I personally find Eri's voice to be annoying yet unique. However, it's still not a good singing voice. Sayu is cute and not much more when it comes to vocal talent. In my opinion, the last good generation was the 5th. That is because out of 4, 3 have strong voices. I am still hoping that Koharu will improve but will she or the other people that I have ever mentioned amount to be the next Maki, I seriously don't think so. But yeah, I've yet to be impressed by half of the sixth genaration or the so called "ace."
