Hymn of the Silent

Kaosu laughed. "You may be able to hit me eventually. Not today, but eventually." Finally reaching the rock, he re-tied his zanpaku-to to his shoulder. "Alright, Nagi-san, we're done. I kicked him to the curb just like you asked. What's next, oh wise one?"

"Aww come on Long..Everything can't just be up and straight you know?" Sulia spoke as she eventually let go of Long's hand to run up the path to the top of the hill to see where the other students were practicing. This would have been a perfect time to learn all she could and obsorb more detail with her eyes to study movements and strategies.

She reached the top to see students to participate in their training as instructed by the elder shinigami after the announcements of the Ryoka. She walked past the other shinigami in a rather shy manner hoping not to make a fool of herself or interrupt the other students. She however looked innocent taking her strides on the grounds of training, and her hair fluttered lightly as she turned back to see if Long had reached the top, the winds up at the top of the hill seemed to find their way as her hair billowed when she turned around the face the wind, moving the hair out of the way and revealing her snow white face, almost pure and light created. The wind however stopped as her hair found their way to cover up her face lightly hiding some of her facial features.

She walked over to whom she could only tell was the head instructor, an elderly shinigami of ripe old age, whom she couldn't tell right away tell as the commanding captain, "..Umm...Excuse me sir...This is where we come to train from now on right? In our situation and and time of crisis, the other teachers have to you say...Tutor the students? Could you point me and my fellow classmate in the right direction, if he could hurry up and get here in time that is?" She asked rather shyly at first, but then it almost sounded like rambling questions that would come out from an elderly person itself.

Nagi squinted his eyes. He wasn't old. At least he didn't think he was old. He had spiked light blue hair, and was 5'1. How could someone call him old. He was sulking inside. "I'm not old crying "

Nagi's eyes then moved to the side and stared at Karite. He didn't reply or say anything. Eventually, he began mumbling: "Old man..heh..I'll show you". And without a warning he turned to face Karite with his left palm pointed out towards Karite. "Bakudou Ichi, Sai!" he shouted as Karite's arms were forced behind him. With a quick shunpo he appeared and kicked at his feet tripping him and causing him to fall on the floor. His eyes glowed shining yellow. "Think twice before you call someone old man!" he stepped on Karite.

Then he turned to Kaosu who was asking him a question. His mood changed from angry and irritated to happy and pleseant. "What is it my adorable little students," Nagi said in a mother-like but still male tone. Nagi was one weird shinigami. "Are you done already, Kaosu, I want you to stand at my left and Riaktsu to the right, and we'll wait for the others to finish," he replied back in his normal tone and continued to read while he remained ontop of Karite.

Nodding to the grumpy little chibi-sensei, Rikatsu moved into place to Nagi's right, being careful not to step on the prone Karite. "A little odd... I hope thats not a requirement for being a teacher"

To keep his bruised muscles from tightening up, Rikatsu began a series of small motion excercies designed to keep him as loose as possible while he cooled down from his recent excercise. With his ever-present small smile, he settles in to watch Tsai and his opponent in their duel. His eyes straining to catch every detail of their combat.

Kaosu walked to the sensei's left and stood there. He smiled as he looked down. "Hey, Karite! How's the view, mate? See anything interesting down there?" He stopped, and pondered why he was standing where he was. If there was some coincidence or just random chance.

Four additional students finished their matches and walked up to Nagi carefully. They stared at Karite. Nagi said the same thing. The loser of the match was to go to his right and the winner was to go to his left.

The main point of this segregation was to seperate the students into two groups. Group A: Consisting of those who have at least won a spar.
Group B: Consisting of those who haven't won.

Group A's activities were to spar amoungst each other with the intent to kill using zampakuto, hakuda whatever they deemed fit. The was the best way for them to become better shinigami than they already were. This was the one way Nagi could think of to rapidly increase their abilities. This was survival of the strongest.

Group B's activities were to continue to spar with each other using hakuda until Nagi deemed them fit to move onto Group A.

Once they were all tired out and have fallen, Nagi would begin his kido lesson. This would definitely piss them off. But it also allowed the students to be prepared to fight no matter what the situation was and it would work their reiatsu control. But mainly because it was fun to watch people suffer especially when it was humorous suffering.

Kaosu sighed, impatient. "Hey, Nagi-san! Is the next test on our patience or somethin'?" A murmur from all of the...two other kids next to him. "Would you mind explaining our next course of action?"

Nagi stared at Kaosu with a look that was almost cold-blooded. "I'm seperating you guys into two groups, those who won and those..who lost. I'm going to be straight forward with you, I'm drawing a line between the weak and the strong. But something that will be similiar in both groups is that you'll all work your asses off.

I will tell group A and B's activities after enough students have completed their spars.

Kaosu looked at the others in his group. They all seemed lanky and weak. But... He reminded himself, ...they won. He realized that they were doing the same to him and each other. Sizing their opponents up. He noticed their zanpaku-to as well. Normal-sized, small. He laughed.

They looked at him evilly, he smiled. I wonder which one I'll fight first...

((Sorry I have been absent for the past couple of days and don't really feel like reading through 15 pages of stuff...sooo...lol I am just jumping in))

Haro's eyes snapped back to attention as he stood there, so much had gone on around him while he had merely been delving into the depths of his own mind...he was unsure if the teachers were going to be angry with him or not, but he smiled and he stood straight and looked around at everyone, unsure of what might be going on. He shok his head visciously and he stood there, gripping the hilt of his Zanpaktou with all his might as he looked to the teacher called Negi. "I appologise sir, but I have just started to participate after a little bit of an absence after my arival...though if ytour eyes are working alright you will have already noticed it was not a physical absence, it was a mental one." He said with a bow. "I was just wondering what you'd have me do." He said, a little bit embarassed for his foolishness.

Long had been walking up the road for quite some time as he followed the road to see that someone had been scaling the wall on the side he had seen from where he was standing, approx. 20 feet away from him as he continued along the edge of the top to see that other students had been practicing already.

"...Looks like we'll all be here for quite some time," Long said to himself as he proceeded over to edge still looming at the female shinigami who had been scaling the steep side of the hill. He knelt over the edge and watched closely with his yellow eyes towards the bottom with his hands on his knees. He then turned his attention around and walked over to where Sulia had been seeking directions from...the commanding captain.

Long headed directly behind her as he leaned forward, and pushed at Sulia's back making her bow lightly as well.

"Do you have any idea who this guy is? You just up and come and talk to him like ...nevermind...just know he is one of the few important characters around here," Long whispered to Sulia as he let his hand off her back as he straightened hismelf.

(Unfortunately, because of my shoulder, I'm going to have to do this normally. My shoulder can't withstand all of the posts it would take to do a lot of 'training' right now, sadly.)

She approached the top of the hill after the rather long climb to the top, up the staircase. She looked to be in better shape than she had been previously. It was a good thing, the fact that she was calm. All of the strange things that had been happening to her lately had almost made her too weary to join the rest of the students.

Sighing after a moment, she approached the main group around the teacher that had been called Nagi. She was prepared to do whatever necessary. Then again, she was also going to approach one of the teachers, and ask them for a little extra help. Mainly because she was determined to pass the classes quickly, and with as little resistance in them as possible.

She was in a fresh haori over her black shinigami uniform, though there was a small strip of something, what appeared to be a blood red cloth wrapped around her upper left arm. Anyone who knew Ran well enough might know what it represents. It's her form of mourning for those who lost their lives.

Her voice was a bit mild, compared to it's usual cheer, as she spoke up from her position.

"Sorry a'hm late," all she gives by way of apology, as her hand comes to rest on her zanpaktou, a familiar gesture of comfort for her. She was likely as scared as some of the other students - she was just much better at hiding it.
