`Yami Bakura
Upstairs, the hut was a disaster, nearly everything in it shredded or broken. They hadn't noticed before, but there were many fresh hoof prints from the pharaoh's men. Somebody must have found their hideout. There was a dead silence from the place, an uneasy feeling. At the bottom of the stairs that led to the tunnels, a body was sprawled, the person's head twisted at an impossible position, a dark puddle of blood around it. The shape was female, and since the only females in the place were Rei and Akila, the body was easy to identify...
Tears filled her eyes as she saw akilas dead body.She went back to bakura who she had left upstairs and tore her dress more wraping the wound on bakuras side "Bakura we cant stay here...the've been here.."

Bakura's eyes were dull, glazed over, as though he had already sensed what had happened, noting the state of the hut upstairs. "Go back down there and grab supplies... There's no way we can stay, like you said. Get clothes, knives, food-- No, dammit, that was what you and Ahm had been getting. Just look for anything left, if they haven't taken it all..."

Rei nodded and went downstairs.Steping over akilas body she serched the tunnels cursing everytime she found nothing.She came back up with two daggers she had taken out of a body.Whe cleaned them off on her dress and headed back up to bakura "theres nothing.I got to daggers that it." she said.

"Damn it." Bakura swore, rubbing the back of his head. "We should leave now, since the pharaoh probably knows we've left by now, and rest somewhere. Anywhere." He glanced outside, and was glad that the sun was setting. "Good. It'll be dark soon. We should go into the desert."

"I think I'll be okay." Bakura said, and proved his point by getting up on his own, even if it took him a few tries. "You have to ride again, though..."

Rei got up on the horse "Which way should we head?" she asked.

Bakura glanced around, and pointed to the west. "Just head that way until we reach the desert. I'll probably tell you when."

When they were far off enough so that they couldn't see any buildings, Bakura told Rei to stop. He slipped off of the horse, hitting the sand with a heavy thud. It was extremely cold in the desert air, the air completely still.

Rei cringed and sliped off the horse.She knelt beside bakura sitting him up and gently rubbing his arms to keep him warm and awake.

Bakura opened his eyes, then took his coat off and draped it over Rei's shoulders. The horse tossed its head and circled around them, then knelt down next to Bakura, snorting. Bakura then grabbed Rei's wrists and pulled her slightly. "Come on." He muttered, pulling her close, trying to get her to lay down on the ground as well. "I'm going to be fine. Just wait 'til morning."

"alright" she said and before laying down she took his jaket from her sholders and laid it over him like a blanket.She then laid down beside him yawning softly.

Bakura wrapped his arms around Rei's waist, cuddling close to her like a stuffed animal or something.

Rei blushed softly but soon fell asleep.She clinged gently to him in her sleep.
