Think Jimmy Hoffa, mob ties, bribes, kickbacks, government coverups, and MASSIVE exposure. They're into as many different things as Wolverine.

I need help....like a "randomizer for dummies" faq or something...

Dinah Lance $howMany = 2;
srand ((double) microtime() * 948625) $randNumber = rand(1,$howMany)
switch($randNumber) { Case 1: header("Location: http://oni.artisticfire.com/raven.jpg") break;
Case 2: header("Location: http://oni.artisticfire.com/raven2.jpg") break; } ?>
This is Raven_Darkholme's old signature. Because you want three images, copy Case 2 and paste it directly below, then title it Case 3. And make sure that the number in the second line matches how many images you're using. If you add more cases later and don't change the number, they won't appear in the rotation.

Where can we use that so I can do a rotation? I reaaally don't feel like trying to dig into my web page address to try and set up a rotation for my sig.

Well you have to save it as a php file and upload it to a host that supports php and external linking. Then you put this in your signature:

Wally_West I'm so lost....Steve, I have no idea how to take the text of your script...and upload it to my server space or anything.... I need help....like a "randomizer for dummies" faq or something... The code I posted is .asp and Raven's is a .php just make sure that the your web server supports the code you're using. For me, I used brinkster.com and it worked fine for Kara's random sig. If you've signed up for brinkster, log in and go to file manager, there's tools at the top that allow you to upload files, or you can even just start a new file and save it as a .asp or .php depending on which code you've chosen. Just make sure that you've ended the name of the file with .php or .asp
