There was a flash of light and a deep tremble in the earth from far off in the woods. Cloud had entered the other world to return to the king. When she arrived in his throne room he was already furious with her. He knew that she had refused his orders. Yet she stood boldly in front of him as if nothing where wrong. His eyes narrowed upon her and cloud was truck hard to the floor. He stood from his seat and came to her to punish her himself. No soldier would be punishment enough for what she had done.
Cloud waited patiently as he knocked her around. There was no point in trying to fight against him. His powers were far beyond hers. He slammed her into the walls and the floor. His hands wrapped around her neck and she choked. The king drew a blade and thought to kill her right then.
"wait" a voice called "my leige"
Someone knelt down and bowed low. It was the kings advisor, a powerful mage.
"let her speak first" he said "perhaps have her beg then send her out again"
The king stabbed her hard in the shoulder and cloud screamed in pain. It burned her skin around the wound. Though Ryuu was in the other world he could hear her cry.
"speak quickly" he hissed
"my lord" she said "i have given you the greatest gift of all. I have delivered you your enemies. They will come together. Your search is over and when you crush them everyone will fall on their knees before you. Who would dare stand against a mighty king who can crush his enemies and send forth his armies"
The king seemed pleased with her quick report. He liked the idea and could see the logic behind having them come to his domain. Here he was ruler of all and they stood no chance against him. She even said it so poeticly that it made him crack a devilish smile. Then his eyes narrowed again.
"you still disobeyed me" he said "and i will not have that. Punish her!"
Then he got real close to her and whispered into her ear.
"i will reward you later" He drew back from her.
When they were done torturing her with what ever they could think of they healed her wounds and started again. It went on for a day and then she was set free. The king sat her down in a chair and they cut his mark into her right arm. It was a long and tedious tattoo but the knife was sharp and she hardly felt it.
"now command my army" he said "When they arrive here from the other world you are to stop at nothing to kill them."
Cloud nodded. With her knew command she could free prisoners. That was the first thing she did. Walking down to the dungeons she opened Zeliks cell. He was in good condition after his last healing. She stood before him.
"zelik i here by banish you from this land" she said "I will escort you to the other world entrance where you will spend the rest of your days"
and so it was done. An army marched zelik to the gate. Cloud unlocked his bindings and he was free to step into the other world.
"zelik when you see Saku" she said "tell her that i was the one who hurt you"
There was a spark of understanding between them but it was kept silent. Then cloud took her army to enforce the laws in place until the others arrived.

Ryuu felt that pang. He had a special talent, you could say, and that everytime someone entered or exited the other world, he would feel a small pang in his head. As Ryuu talked with them, and scream went inside his head. It was loud and full of pain. He fell to his knees and craddled his head tightly. It was Cloud's scream. Ryuu could only imagine what was happeneding. The scream hurt him too. It felt like a fire through him and then it vanished. He felt that pang again. Someone had just entered these woods(Zelik). But who?

"H-hey, are you okay?!" Anna rushed over, but she wasn't sure what she should do. "What's wrong?! Whats going on?!" She crouched down by him, fear on her face. "Whats hurting you?!" Her wings dissapeared and Jiyo slid down off her back. Anna turned to Saku. "Saku, whats happening?!"

Saku didn't respond. Her mind was buzzing with cloud's words. This world would be gone!? That would mean the forest would dissappear...and her mother....Saku closed her eyes tightly, trying to stop her shaking.
"Saku..." Came an eerily familiar voice. Saku gasped and looked up. Several feet behind Ryuu a body had appeared. Saku noticed the blue hair immedietly.
"Zelik?" She whispered. They were right.....They had been telling the truth.
"ZELIK!" Saku ran past Kyo and the others and kneeled next to hr friend.
She sucked in a tight breath and it cuaght. Zelik was so battered and weak and his hair had grown so long. He looked completely different. Though Zelik had been considered well enough to travel in the Other World he was still weak and thin from hunger. Saku helped Zelik sit up.
"Oh God. You're okay." She was holding back tears.
"Saku..." Zelik breathed, he looked up at her with dead eyes. Eyes that had lost hope. "I'm sorry."
The Tears Saku had tried so hard to hold back came flooding out.
HE was sorry? For what? Protecting her? For making her stronger? For being there for her?
"You shouldn't be..." Was all Saku could say.
Zelik looked around to everyone else. He noticed Ryuu immedietly.
"Ryuu, my friend...What ails you?" He asked.

Kyo looked over at saw Zelik. He didn't look as strong as they said but he looked like he hadn't eaten for days so that was the reason. Kyo turned to Ryuu. He looked in pain.-------------------------- Ryuu took in a deep breath and stood up. "Cloud... she's hurt." He looked at Anna "I'll be fine. I can feel others pain sometimes. I can't really controll it." Ryuu looked at Zelik and a small smile came to his face. "So you got out? I'm glade to see you, though you look torn up. I think we should all head back to the hidout and get things straightened out and get you some clothes and food." He said to Zelik.

Zelik smiled aliuttle as well.
"Food sounds like heaven....I have so much to tell you all." He said. Saku didn't wait for an innvitaion. She looped Zenik's arm around her shoulders and helped him up. He leaned against her for support.

A large cat emerged in front of them. It greeted Ryuu with an outstretched paw that was bigger than his hand. Its blue eyes sparkled a bit and the winds in the woods changed. The leaves sang a sad song and there was a thrumming sound that filled the air.
"Ryuu" it spoke telepathicly "I have come on behalf of the woods"

Saku tensed as she saw the cat.
"Relax." Zelik said. "this Cat won't attack us." Saku nodded weakly. It felt so weird Have Zelik by her side after so long.

Ryuu nelt down on one knee so he was eye leave with the huge cat. "What have you come for? To help?"

"everything is speaking of the war that is coming" the cat spoke "The woods are weeping. It is customary for the lords of the woods to gather. Ryuu Zelik.....and....where is lady cloud?"
"She has been taken by the king" Ryuu half lied
"This is terrible news" the cat spoke gravely "there is no one kinder than her. She was a friend of mine. A dear one"The kat appeared very sadned but was determined to finish what he was saying.
"bring the appointed warriors" the kat said "there will be a celebration in their honor and we will see them off with a blessing"

"Is that cat talking about us?" Saku whispered to Kyo.
Zelik smiled weakly. "Blessings be with you, messanger." He said. "Thank you for coming to speak with us..."

Kyo shrugged. "I think so."-------------------- "A war? I geuss it seems like the king would want one. I hope we get to see Cloud again." He said sadly. Ryuu nodded. "Where is the celebration going to be held?"

"Wait, war? What war? What happend to Cloud?" She tunred to Kyo. "Who's Cloud, again?" She looked at Ryuu. "And why was he talking to a cat? And whats with this Zelik guy? I thought you said he was dead!" Anna groaned. "I'm so confused. Its only been one day, and I've been attacked two, no, three times, I have a new... pet dragon thingy, and I grew wings. I doubt my life could get much more weird than how it is right now..." She looked at Kyo. "I'm beggining to think that it was a bad idea to go back to forest."

"Cloud was the woman who had wings." Saku said.
"And the war is..."
"The king is massing an army. He's planning a full scale invasion of this world." Zelik chimed in. "The cat is a messanger for the forest and as for me...It's a long story." He turned to Kyo and Anna. "You guys will get used to all the suprises and weirdness. Trust me." He turned back to Ryuu and the cat.

"when you are ready meet at the far western side of the woods" the cat spoke "in the big celebration ring"
It was a large opening in the woods that was nothing but lush grass and wild flowers. With that the cat shook hands with Ryuu again and then dashed into the woods.
