One eye opened slightly, and a single tear fell.
"Celebor ... Serenity ... Skye," she murmured, clutching Skye even closer. Another tear fell. She brushed it away before looking at Donovan once more.
"I don't suppose there's a way I could meet them," she murmured. "Or see Elnara again?"

"There is a way," Donovan admitted, "That is if you don't mind disappearing for a few months or so here, the time different is still pretty large. It's been a few months for us since we've last been here, for all of you, it's been six years."
Still, it wasn't a bad idea, it wasn't like anyone would really notice, and she did deserve to have some heart to heart with Elnara of all people.

Serenity's eyes grew wide. "Of course," she breathed. "Go to your world ..."
The thought gave her hope; but at the same time, it was terrifying. She had no idea if there would be risks, she had only a general idea about the time warp ... but she had no idea what that world was like, only knew that everyone was accepted there, depending on where they went.
... perhaps she would visit ...
She looked up at Donovan eagerly. "You've created a portal, then?" she guessed. Then, more hesitantly, "I'd be able to get back?"

Kara blinked warily as she woke up to find both Donovan and Miyu missing, she mumbled and wondered where they went as she rolled out of bed. She wondered a bit if she should change, then again she was in a house with a lot of other people. Kara went rooting around for one of her dresses.

Donovan nodded, "A false door was created that leads to your world from ours, so you'll be able to get back once you've entered. It's also easier for us to get back rather than having to wait while whoever it is that did the magic recovers from it."

Serenity's weary eyes grew bright with hope, and she nodded, still hugging Skye tightly.
"I'd like that, then," she smiled. "How long were you planning on staying here?"

"Mrf..." Kara muttered as she pulled the pale yellow sun dress over her head, sticking her arms through their proper places.
She rubbed the rest of the sleep out of her eyes, or at least tried to, she was still sleepy a bit, as she began her padding down the hallway.

Donovan mused on that, since he hadn't expected at all to find Serenity that early on. It was just sheer chance that it was visiting time for the family.
"Not sure, probably a week, since it's an excuse to stay here while, seeing as not a lot of time will pass at home, as long as the day isn't over at home I'm sure things will be fine. Otherwise, we'll have three worried parents on our hands," he pointed to the two girls.

Serenity blinked and loosened her grip on Skye. "What do you mean?" she asked curiously. "They were like Nina last time, and stowed away?"
An amused smile crept across her face. "Don't tell me they sneaked into your bag without you knowing?" She laughed.

Skye fidgeted out of Serenity's arms and off to the other side of Miyu so that her cousin could have a turn getting her wings groomed. She ran her tiny hands down the black wings lightly, smiling and fluttering her own dark blue wings slowly.

She could hear voices down the hallway, one of them was Donovan's, she couldn't hear Miyu's but Miyu didn't talk. She wondered if Skye was talking though... maybe not, maybe she was just listening. But she could hear Serenity's voice, and Kara just had to giggle as she came close enough to hear her last comment.
Stepping into the living room Kara supplied, "Yes well... it's one thing when it's a pet, but children came very unexpected."

"Yes well, if we were bringing children again, it would be Jin so Trisha wouldn't have to babysit, and Celebor had first dibs on coming here not Skye," Donovan supplied after Kara, "Besides... Miyu would not be here with just as, as much as Yue trusts us, he would be here too if she was."
Nevermind the fact that Jaseth must be having uclers by now, he was sure of it.

Serenity brightened up even more upon seeing Kara, and she couldn't help but laugh. "Good morning!" she called out brightly. "It's good to see you again! How have you been?"
She giggled a bit, watching Skye and Miyu.

Kara smiled at that as she walked up to Donovan and tried to take a seat beside him, if she could then she would sit on his lap because quite frankly she was still sleepy.
"Sleepy," she murmured, "But feeling more myself thank you," she studied Serenity underhooded lids, "And I hope you're doing well, Daeron as grown I've seen."

Donovan rolled his eyes at her, "If you're going to sit on my lap, at least get off when Daeron's father comes in, as much as I'd like to bager him like Elrohir, now I think is not a good time to make a scene."
Not to mention, he had a feeling there was more to worry about with Ruel than just hearing Elrohir shoot his mouth off, at least Elrohir had brains.
